THE PROPERTY

From the adjoining cottage garden you can hear the distant steamboat whistles and foghorns—the unique sounds of New Orleans.
The intimate bijou (approximately 500 sq ft) shotgun-style studio is accessed through the adjoining garden and feels cozy yet airy with elevated 11-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, cooling ceiling fans, and abundant natural light. Elegant French doors open directly to the garden, while classic French windows enhance the bright, architectural charm of the space and invite in soft natural light.
Inside, the studio features 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and 1 bath with a step-in clawfoot tub and shower—ideal for unwinding after a day in the city. The kitchen includes multiple coffee-making options (French press, pour over, single serve, moka pot), and is fully stocked with food amenities, and a washer and dryer inside the unit. Central AC and heat controlled remotely by guest. This peaceful setting offers reliable high-speed internet and a Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu, Max HBO, and more making it ideal for both relaxation and remote work.
You’re walking distance to the French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, and the Crescent Park/Mississippi River, as well as an exceptional dining scene that includes local dining favorites such as N7, Paladar 511, and Evviva, Michelin-recognized restaurants, and James Beard Award winning bars. GETTING AROUND
Walking and biking are two great options, as many historic/places of interest are within a 1-10 minute walk/bike ride. Stroll to the French Quarter, down Frenchman Street, along the Mississippi river in Crescent Park. If you don’t feel like walking, take the street car (five blocks away), which can take you to most historic sites, including French Quarter and Garden District, an uptown restaurants.
