Charming holiday home in Södermannland near Lake Mälaren

The house from the 19th century, built in the classic Swedish country style, was once inhabited by local fishermen and has now been lovingly renovated with a maintained atmosphere.
With two bedrooms, each with two beds, and an alcove with a single bed, up to five people can comfortably live in the house.
The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, fridge, freezer and a dining area.
The living room offers both a sofa and an open fire place and a TV with DVD player.
The bathroom has a shower, a sink, a toilet and a washing machine.
The place, located exactly between Strängnäs and Eskilstuna, lies in the heart of Sweden and is rich in cultural heritage, from the rune stones of the Vikings to baroque castles.
The Mälaren, the third largest lake in Sweden, offers numerous bathing places, the closest one is only about five minutes from the house.
The area includes a rich fauna consisting of elk, foxes, deer, badgers, wild boar, cranes, herons and sometimes beavers. On one side of the holiday home is the Sörfjärden nature reserve, which attracts many bird lovers.
The forests in the area are full of mushrooms and wild berries that anyone can pick.
Only 2 km away you will find the country club, Strand ’(which is located directly on the lake and, in addition to a golf course with 18 holes, also offers a restaurant and a boat and canoe rental.
The towns of Strängnäs and Eskilstuna, where the so-called Tuna Park offers a zoo, an adventure pool and various events, are located 15 km away for shopping and excursions.
For day trips, Stockholm can be reached by train or car in around an hour.
