Obernzell is nestled between the Danube and the steep Donauleiten, divided into the central market Obernzell and several smaller villages in the surrounding area. Our market is very close to the Bavarian-Austrian border, only the (mostly) quietly flowing Danube separates and connects the neighbors at the same time. Örtl 7 is an ideal starting point for leisurely walks along the river or in the idyllic brook valleys of Obernzell, for challenging walks on the Donausteig, for biking on the Danube cycle path, in the Bavarian Forest, the Bohemian Forest (Dreiländereck), the Inn or Mühlviertel (Ö), for Boat trips to Passau or Linz or excursions by car or motorcycle on the Sauwald scenic road. The castle Obernzell accommodates a ceramic museum and changing art exhibitions, is surrounded by a beautiful castle park, where on Thursdays our weekly market takes place. In max. 20 minutes by car you reach the three-river town Passau with the Veste Oberhaus, the famous cathedral and all its picturesque streets. Nearby destinations in the surrounding area are z. Our apartment is located on the ground floor, the apartment entrance is accessible via a few stairs from the garden, so unfortunately not barrier-free. On the Danube side you can see white and blue balconies, you can park in front of the house in our yard. Address for Navi: Uferstraße 56, then arrive at the parking lot, entering Örtl 7 will take you to the side of the street.

Arrivals are possible from 14:00 to 23:00 and departures from 07:00 to 10:00.
