Everything was wonderful! Great location, great accommodations, very clean and comfortable. Cannot say enough about this establishment. We will be coming back. Highly recommend Miami Beach Resort for your stay in Oscoda.

Weather was great, cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed and wanted there during our stay. Would stay here again!!! Being just steps from the water was amazing!!!

Relaxing

Location is amazing! It's so relaxing to be so close to the waves of Lake Huron. Beach is nice...the sunrise is beautiful. My second time staying and certainly won't be my last! The cabin was clean and cozy! Everything that you need is there! Beds are comfy too! Hosts Tim and Nancy are awesome!

Recovery

I had major surgery and needed rest to recovery. My mom and I stayed here for 5 days and had a very nice time. Nancy the Manager was wonderful. She checked on us and made sure we were ok. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here

Girlfriends

Wonderful UpNorth getaway for 3 lifelong friends. Small, rustic, cozy, clean, convenient on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. Hosts Tim and Nancy were cordial and accommodating. Work crew doing property improvements were friendly and helpful. Will return for another stay for sure.

First family vacation

We chose Au Sable for our first family vacation because our daughter loves the beach. She was in the water pretty much the whole time and had a blast. My mother and i spent the weekend baking in the sun with books which was wonderful. The location was perfect, quiet but also close enough to town for quick trips. Went kayaking and looked at beautiful largo springs. Only complaint is the shower was way too small and the water temperature was awful.

It was a great little cabin right on the beach. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. The place spotless when we arrived, not a speck of sand, which is amazing considering the beach start 3-4 ft from the front door. The wifi wasn't the best but the hosts were responsive to us about it, and having been in the area multiple times in the past we knew that internet and cell service can be weak, especially near the windy coast of the lake. My one complaint is that during the day the AC did not work well, getting up to 86 degrees inside. Fortunately we went during a cold front, so the temperature outside was in the 70's and it got cool enough at night to keep cabin comfortable to sleep. The beach area is wonderful. Not crowded like how some of the parks in Tawas or Oscoda get. They have a ton of toys and chairs to use for guest. There is plenty of parking and easy to find. Easy drive to Tawas or Oscoda for restaurants or shopping.Overall, excellent stay. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely Cottage literally steps from the lake

Cottage was super cute! It was clean. Tim and Nancy thought of everything you could need. I was relaxed and have a lovely time. the views were amazing!!! It was a bit cold but hey it happens...it's Michigan!! Will definitely stay again soon!!

Highly recommend, we had everything we needed, including a beautiful beach right outside our door. We would definitely go back here. Owners are highly responsive to any questions and very helpful!
