Families will love the playground, lawn, and barbecue area, all nestled beside a peaceful stream where guests of all ages can relax and play.Choose from five different house types, accommodating 4 to 8 guests with 1 to 4 bedrooms. Each home features a private entrance, balcony or terrace, and some even include a cozy fireplace, making it a perfect year-round retreat in beautiful surroundings.


Cosy multi-level holiday home with fireplace
This charming holiday home offers approximately 55–60 m² of living space, arranged across two or three floors. With three bedrooms, one bathroom and accommodation for up to six guests, it provides a warm and practical setting for families or groups travelling together.Living and dining area: The open-plan ground floor combines a welcoming sitting area with a dining space, creating a sociable setting for shared meals and relaxing evenings. In selected homes, the fireplace forms a cosy focal point and adds warmth and atmosphere. A similar version is also available without a fireplace, featuring a comfortable sofa corner instead.Kitchenette: The practical kitchenette includes a breakfast counter, sink, hot-water boiler, fridge, four-ring hob, combination microwave and coffee machine. Upper and lower cupboards provide useful storage, while cookware, crockery, cutlery and glasses are supplied for preparing and serving meals during your stay.Ground-floor bedroom: The bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a bunk bed and wardrobe space, offering a convenient sleeping area without requiring the use of stairs.Main bedroom: Upstairs, the main bedroom features a comfortable double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, providing practical storage and a private place to rest.Third bedroom: The additional upstairs bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed and wardrobe, making it particularly suitable for children or additional guests.Optional attic sleeping space: Some holiday homes include an additional seventh bed in the attic. Availability and the exact layout may vary depending on the selected accommodation.Bathroom: The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin and toilet.Storage: A compact storage area with a wall-mounted safe is available for keeping personal belongings secure.
Each single sleeping place is fitted with a spring mattress measuring 90 × 200 cm, a pillow measuring 80 × 80 cm and a duvet measuring 135 × 200 cm.

Families will enjoy a visit to Fort Fun Abenteuerland amusement park with over 40 attractions (just 7 minutes away), or the Lagunen-Erlebnisbad in Willingen (33 km), which promises fun for all ages with features like whirlpools and a wild water pool.

The region is also a hotspot for outdoor enthusiasts. With 180 km of marked trails, it’s ideal for hiking and mountain biking. Cyclists, too, will feel right at home in this two-wheeled paradise. In the winter months, the area transforms into a snowy retreat. Near Valmetal, you'll find several winter sports resorts, including Bödefeld-Hunau, located on the northern slope of the Hunau. The most renowned ski areas—Winterberg and Willingen—offer a variety of slopes for every skill level, from beginners to seasoned skiers.

Arrival and DepartureYou can arrive between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., or at a time arranged in advance.On departure day, please leave the house tidy and swept clean by 10 a.m., or as arranged.For weekend bookings, you're welcome to stay in the house until 4 p.m. on Sundays.Final CleaningFinal cleaning is included in your rental price. However, if the house is not left swept clean and tidy, an additional flat rate will be charged.PetsDogs are allowed upon request, with an extra nightly surcharge per dog.Please note that pets are not allowed in Haus Wieselbau.BookingDuring summer and Christmas holidays, as well as over Carnival and the Crocus Holidays (for Germany and the Netherlands), bookings require a minimum stay of seven nights.During other periods, you can book for a minimum of two nights at the weekend rate, or a minimum of four nights for mid-week stays.After booking, you'll receive a confirmation and are required to pay a deposit, representing a percentage of the total rent, within a specified number of days. The remaining rent is due upon arrival.You can choose from holiday homes accommodating up to 4, 6, or 8 people. Overcrowding is possible, and an additional nightly charge per person will apply.CancellationYou can cancel your booking free of charge within a specific timeframe (exceptions may apply for last-minute bookings).Cancellations made up to a certain number of days before arrival will incur a partial cancellation fee based on the rental price.Cancellations made closer to the arrival date will result in a larger cancellation fee, representing a significant percentage of the rental price.Cancellations made very close to arrival or in case of a no-show will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full rental price.We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.InformationAll houses have their entrance and an outdoor area such as a terrace, balcony, or forecourt with a sunbathing lawn.You'll find a children's playground, a football pitch, and additional sunbathing lawns available for use.Garden furniture and a barbecue are located in each house.A travel cot and high chair are available upon request.Television programs are received via satellite TV.The houses are equipped with electric heaters.Some house types (Beaver Burrow, Fox Burrow, and Badger Burrow) include a safe.All beds feature spring mattresses of a standard size, with standard-sized pillows and duvets.Please bring your own bed linen and kitchen towels.
