Step back to a simpler time of family, outdoor play, building sandcastles on the beach and swimming in the warm lake. This sweet cottage feels like you are living decades ago- a wonderful, hard to give gift to the new generation. When you enter the cottage, there is a small kitchen with all the basics. There is a newly renovated bathroom with an added stand up shower (it originally only had a toilet and sink, as washing was done solely in the lake). The large living room includes a comfortable couch and recliner, as well as a stone wood burning fireplace to enjoy on the colder evenings. There are three small bedrooms off of the living room. Two rooms have a single bed and one room has a single bunk over a full size bed. The lakeside of the cottage has a wonderful enclosed porch, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening beverages. It is also an ideal place for a game of cards or checkers. The master bedroom is an addition next to the enclosed porch, and has a queen bed with a stunning lake view. Enjoy 150 ft. of private, sandy lakefront frontage. This lake is like no other. It has a sandy bottom with a slow slope for kid safe swimming. Since this lake is shallow, the sun warms the water to a perfect temperature by mid-afternoon. The cottage includes a long floating dock, BBQ grill, and an outdoor fire pit.. The beach faces West for great views of the sunset over the lake. This cottage maintains its original charm with a few necessary updates. It is perfect for families or a quiet getaway without children. Since there is no washer or dryer in this cottage, please bring your own linens and towels. A selection of toys, books and games will be provided. We hope this cottage provides wonderful memories for you, as it has for us!
