A part of the Eden at Gracefield event venue, welcome to The Ashepoo House, a charming 3 bedroom 3 bath home. ***PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SPLIT LEVEL HOME WITH MASTER ON GROUND FLOOR AND ALL OTHER LIVING SPACES UPSTAIRS*** The most private of all the homes on this 515-acre Estate, it has a dock on a large lake, where geese and ducks flock every year. Take in the spectacular view while relaxing with friends and family on the elevated screened-in porch. Fish off the banks or paddle out on the lake and try for that “catch of a lifetime’… we’ve caught some bass as large as 15lbs in our lakes here at Eden! Recently renovated, this home is an absolute dream! Everything is brand new and well-appointed, with a King bed in the ground floor master suite as well as 2 chairs and large flat screen tv.
Queen beds in the 2 upstairs bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms means no one has to share a bath. Free high-speed internet and Roku TVs in the master suite and living room. Kitchen with microwave, range, refrigerator and dishwasher. Beautifully decorated with high-end furniture and bedding… you’ll never want to leave our peaceful retreat.

Beautiful lake view

Home is beautifully decorated, but the most beautiful feature is the view you have out to the lake and trees with Spanish moss. Very responsive, helpful host. Hope to visit again!

Perfect Lake Retreat

I was so impressed by this vacation home! It was laid out so well and every room furnished perfectly. The location is stunning and a perfect restful retreat, which is just what we needed. It's so close to town and everything was just exceptional. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful and peaceful!

We stayed one night passing through on our way to Florida and are so glad we did. What a beautiful property. House is comfortable & clean. Loved the porches to sit and look out at the lake. We are keeping this place in mind for sure.

A southern paradise

Loved everything about this property. The upper level screened-in terrace was so cool, we greatly enjoyed all the paths to jog and bike on, appreciated the nice bikes there to use, the lake is so serene, and the house is beautifully decorated. The kids enjoyed all the games available.

Beautiful house with lake view!

We loved our stay here for the weekend. The house is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Taking a stroll by the gorgeous lake is so awesome. Laura was so easy to contact if we needed anything. Nice quiet country setting. I love the decor. So cozy and comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

My Son's Wedding Weekend

This was an amazing home. I loved the down stairs bedroom for my mom who is 81. My girlfriends and the bride stayed upstairs and we could visit and not worry about disturbing mom. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone even for a weekend get away. The lake is breath taking and want to come back to enjoy nature.

What a fabulous property! From the scenery, cleanliness, accommodations, super hot dish water, sharp quality knives and kitchen accessories, new remodeled styling and privacy every detail was thought out. We had fun biking, going on a nature walk and fishing (we even caught a couple). Our host was very accessible when we had questions and very friendly. This is most definitely a place we really want to visit again! We simply ran out of time to enjoy the entire lodging, very sad to leave.

House was great. Killed a few spiders inside but everything was clean. Only complaint was water has a sulfur smell. That is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Peaceful

My brother & I rented this with plans of picking up our sister & brother in law in Smoaks & bringing them here for a good visit with no one having to cook & clean all the time. My brother & I live in Texas so we don’t see our sister often.. we had a great time. It rained some, we fished some, played games. We are all over 70 so the stairs was a challenge but it was worth it, we let sister have master bedroom which is huge everything was clean & nice. I would stay again.

Well appointed house on the lake

We were in town for a family reunion held at the nature center which is only a couple of miles down the road. I was very impressed with the high end finishes in the home, including the screened in porch which overlooks the lake. Master bed is on the main level upon entering the home. The kitchen, porch, living room and other two bedrooms with their on suite bathrooms are all upstairs. My husband and son fished from the dock and actually caught a few fish, which was a lot of fun. They also spotted a baby gator in the lake which was very cool and made their fishing trip most memorable. I would definitely stay there again!
