Summary: _____________ Meet Your Home Away from Home
Our beautiful, cozy four-bedroom home is nestled in northern Sterling Heights in close proximity to many SE Michigan locations, including Troy, Royal Oak/Ferndale, Birmingham and Detroit. Our three-story split-level is ~1,900 sq ft with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a quiet, private office. Ideally-designed for work-from-home, we have two full workstations (one in the office, one in the living room) each featuring standing desks, dual-monitor setups, computer docks with USB-C hookups, keyboards, and mouses along with comfy office chairs!
Before getting to work, sip your morning coffee (or espresso!) or afterwards, enjoy an evening glass of wine on our patio in our backyard! With a fully-equipped kitchen and an outdoor propane grill, our home is also perfect for cooking or enjoying time with friends and family (the kitchen is complete with a massive island and large dining room table so everyone can join together). Located on a quiet street and a quick drive to downtown Sterling Heights, our home provides easy access to all of the Detroit-metropolitan area, making this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!
Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, Amazon Fire smart TVs, French Roast coffee pods + Keurig, Memory Foam beds, fresh linens, in-suite washer/dryer, Solimo bath products, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Message us if there’s anything we can help with!
Layout _____________ Our tri-level home has four bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor (up a flight of 6 steps from the main level). The main (2nd) level features the kitchen and dining area as well as provides access to outside. Our lower level (also down a small flight of stairs) includes our living room, office, and a second full bathroom, and is where the two workstations that have convertible standing desks are.
Arrive with Ease _____________ Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 4:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!
Rest in Comfort _____________ Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforters, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout drapes in each bedroom.
Sleeping Arrangements _____________ In addition to four queen beds, we have a queen size air mattress and a super-comfy couch as well! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

Expectations _____________ 99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.
Parking _____________ We have a garage that fits two cars, with room for two additional cars in our driveway. We are located on a quiet street which also allows street parking so if you need additional parking, there's plenty!
Entry _____________ The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the door from the garage to the house. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.
Extra Sleeping Arrangements _____________ Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.
Our Neighborhood _____________ This house lies about 25 miles northeast of Detroit. Easy access to a handful of areas nearby, including Royal Oak, Troy, Saint Clair Shores, Mount Clemens, Pontiac, and Dearborn.

House Rules _____________ We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. - Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. - Please leave your shoes at the door. - No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. - No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. - If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. - Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
Getting Around _____________ Our house is just a 4-minute walk from the bus stop at Hall Rd & Malow (the eastbound side of M-59) which allows access to bus routes all throughout SE Michigan! In addition, UBERs and LYFTs run consistently and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the area!

They could have spent a bit more time cleaning. A couple kitchen drawers were broken.
The biggest issue for me was the tub matt upstairs. It slid right out when I stepped in the tub and I fell smashing my ribs on the tub wall. The tub itself is very narrow and VERY slippery! Dangerous. Don't know how I didn't break a rib. Made for a very uncomfortable work week for sure. I also inquired the very first day about a possibility of having to leave a few days earlier and was told I could net get any money returned which was disappointing but I get it.

It was such a beautiful house, very quiet nice neighborhood, everything was clean and neat when we got there. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will be coming back.
