Pine Cabin on the Pine River-Adult only

Cabin #1 - Fully renovated bathroom in 2021, this awesome little cabin just steps away from the relaxing waterfront. Perfect for kayaks and canoes. Large deck with propane grill. The river flows into Norway Lake. There is a swimming area in the river that has a nice sandy bottom and at most is around 4ft deep. It is an excellent area to lounge on a floaty or play water games. In the photos is resident dog, Nora. I also have a second cabin for rent that sleeps up to 2 adults if you happen to have a larger group.

Quiet setting only minutes from the city of Pine River and amenities. Nearby attractions include: 1 mile from the Paul Bunyan Trail for biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter, 2 miles from Bluegrass Festival, 2 miles from Junkathon, 14 miles from Spider Lake ATV trails, 25 miles from Northern Lights Casino and Leech Lake. Numerous lakes nearby as well.

We love staying at Pine Cabin on the Pine River. Eric and his bride-to-be, Becky, are amazing! There are so many great kayaking opportunities around this fantastic location! Pine River getaway.

This was a great property for me and my dog. A lot of solitude and excellent hosts. The river was awesome for cooling off and I was able to take my dog for his first water adventure, we walked in the water along the shoreline and gradually walked him into deeper water for his first doggy paddle! The cabin was bigger then expected, with a nice sitting area, small kitchen area with a dinette table and chairs, and 2 full size beds. The window air conditioner kept the cabin cool and comfortable. Eric and Becky were wonderful hosts, very responsive and available. They recommended The Red Pine Cookhouse in Emily for a night out, and it did not disappoint. I would stay here again, hopefully in August or September for the harvesting of wild rice.

Amazing. Was a gift for my son and new daughter in law! For their honeymoon! And they said it was perfect. Owners had wine and petals ready for them. I was happy and they were happy!! Highly recommended!

Nice pine cabin in the woods

The property is as described, a small single room cabin with a mini kitchen and bathroom. It sits on the river and there are kayaks and equipment to use and explore the river as well. The host was quick to respond to questions and issues that came about during the stay. Overall a good place to stay for a couple of nights.

This place was amazing - absolutely what my wife and I were looking for for our vacation. Cabin was great, had all the stuff we needed, very clean and very cozy. The property was heaven on earth - a lazy, reeded river surrounded by trees, with herons, ducks, all sorts of wildlife. The dock had a bench where you could sit and take it all in. So relaxing! Definitely want to come back to this place!

We expected rustic but what we got was more like ragged. The walls and ceiling were by far the best part, all beautiful pine planking. The floor was cheap vinyl planking that was bubbling up. The widow air conditioner worked ok but the silver tape around it was nasty. The ceiling fan worked but was filthy. My husband is 6'2" and was unable to stand erect in the bathroom or shower stall. The bathroom sink top had a large crack in it. The sponge for dishwashing was gross. I used paper towels to wash the dishes. The dish drainer was rusty. The cabinet holding the jars and glasses with the tableware was pretty rickety. The top was covered in contact paper that was in bad shape and doors didn't close right. The towel situation was a joke. When we asked for an additional bath towel (they had supplied 1 bath and 2 smaller ones) what we got had so many threads pulled out it looked more like a 10-year-old rag. They did provide us with a 2-quart pitcher that we requested. People in the other cabin had a dog that was off leash and jumped all over me as we were leaving for dinner and left muddy paw prints on my clothes. This was not the property owners' dog, but they should have a leash rule for people's pets. We have stayed in worse places, but this one is a contender. Also, the road into the property had several pretty nasty ruts. We were so disappointed, we ended up leaving early on Wednesday morning rather than on the following Saturday.

I spend my free time hunting, fishing, kayaking and spending time with my loved one. I share my home with my fiancee and step son.
