Moo Manor, 10 Mins from downtown Mayberry

Freshly remodeled farm house, just minutes from downtown Mayberry. This home was once a 60 acre farm, now it's 2 acres of land on a dead end street (plenty of parking even for bike trailers) which acts as a private driveway. Get your steps in walking our driveway while everyone is getting ready for the day.
Our neighbors are the cute cows in the field across the road.

This non smoking house has 2 bedrooms with freshly made beds, 1 bath, a large kitchen and a laundry room. There is a nice deck located off of the kitchen, smoking is permitted there. On the deck you will find a gas grill, table and chairs for dining and relaxing outside.
Linens and towels are provided, kitchen has all the pans, dishes and glasses you will need. We also have free WiFi and cable TV.

This house has been remodeled, but door openings are still about 28" to 30" wide.
Downtown has a great Main Street with dozens of gift shops, 2 coffee shops, bakeries and 6 restaurants. You can take a ride in the vintage squad cars at Wally's Service Station on South Main Street. Mount Airy also has a large granite quarry close to downtown.
If you love art, the murals that are painted on the sides of several buildings downtown, are a beautiful sight. Andy's new mural is on Moore Street.
We have several, amazing walking paths that wind along the river downtown. Bring your sneakers or a bicycle.
Pilot Mtn. Park is a 15 minute drive south on hwy 52. The views are amazing and there are several hiking trails. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 15 minute drive north of us. We also have several wineries close by too.
The mountain tops can be seen from the house and the sunsets are usually beautiful.
The 10 minute drive to downtown is a straight shot down state road 89. It's the best of both worlds, country setting and close to town and shopping.

I have been a VRBO host for 15 years. I take cleaning very seriously.
Smoking is only allowed on the deck, no smoking indoors.

Children 5 years and older are welcome. Please be aware that we have cleaning supplies within reach in cabinets.

Pets with good manners are welcome. All we ask is if you can please close the door to the bedroom you are not using. I suggest that dogs should be on a leash (electric fence by cows) when outside. Please bring their favorite bedding with you so they are comfortable. Dog bowls are located under the kitchen sink.

Contact free check in. Combination for the door lock will be sent to you a few days before check in.

The driveway to the right of the house has shady parking. We do have a tenant in the back, basement unit and his parking is at the bottom of the left driveway in the carport. The driveway is wide enough for 2 cars to use.
