Nestled in the heart of the beautiful village of Ducey-Les-Chéris, La Demeure aux Vitraux welcomes you to a peaceful and authentic setting.

Just 20 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel, this magnificent 250m² family home has been lovingly restored from top to bottom in a distinctly British style! The use of fine materials has preserved its original character. Dating back several centuries, this 2-star-rated property combines old-world charm with modern comfort.

Enjoy its spacious bedrooms, a large Lacanche hob for cooking with friends, the beautiful enclosed terraced garden for reading or relaxing, and the lounges for spending time together…

It is a place designed for recharging your batteries and slowing down. The house is ideal for rest and relaxation, but all around Ducey, nature and history also offer plenty to explore as you discover the region.

The house is laid out as follows:

Ground floor:
– A living area comprising a TV lounge with a fireplace, a double living-dining room, and a fully fitted kitchen including, in particular: an electric kettle, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher and a six-burner Lacanche range cooker, a utility room, a laundry room and a separate toilet
– Access to the inner courtyard, a terrace and the terraced garden

On the first floor:
– Bedrooms 1 and 2: a double bed (140x200)
– Bedroom 3: a queen-size bed (160x200), a workspace
– A bathroom with a bath, double washbasin and toilet

On the second floor:
– Bedroom 4: one double bed (140x190) and a bunk bed (two 90x200 beds for children)
– Bedroom 5: one single bed (110x190)
– A bathroom with a shower, a bath and a toilet

For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional equipment: high chair, washing machine, cot, gas barbecue/plancha, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

A lovely outdoor area of approximately 350 m²:
– A tropical hardwood terrace and a walled garden
– The garden, facing west and south, is sheltered from the wind and prying eyes. It is furnished with outdoor furniture so you can make the most of sunny days
– A small terrace at the far end of the garden offers a secluded spot
– An ornamental pond with a few carp completes the setting. Please do not feed or touch the carp.
– There are two arches in the garden, one of which is closed off by a gate, leading to a private area that is not accessible to guests and is not maintained

The accommodation is located in Ducey-Les Chéris, a designated "stopover village", in the historic centre of the village, on a one-way street. The surroundings are very pleasant. Nearby, you'll find a greengrocer, a supermarket, several bakeries, a butcher's, shops, restaurants, bars, tobacconists, a pharmacy, a medical centre and a market every Tuesday...

Activities :
- Ducey-les-Chéris sports complex with two recent tennis courts open to the public.
- Walks along the river Sélune and the greenway are just 5 minutes away on foot.
- In summer, visit the Montgommery castle.
- There is a tourist office in Ducey offering a wide range of activities in the region.
- Mont-Saint-Michel is 20 minutes away by car and the first beaches are 25 minutes away.

Transport :
A car is essential. Access to the A84 less than 5 minutes away. Free parking is available throughout the village. It is possible to park a car in front of the garage entrance.
There is also an electric recharging point 200 m from the house.

There is a market every Tuesday morning. Parking is not permitted from midnight the previous day until around 2pm on Tuesday.

As far as other modes of transport are concerned, here is some information you may find useful:
- Avranches railway station is 15 minutes away and offers numerous bus and train connections.
- Car-sharing is highly developed on the Rennes-Avanches-Caen route. There is a car park at exit 33 / Ducey on the A84.

To ensure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, this accommodation is managed in partnership by the Cocoonr teams (ad management and reservations service) and a local concierge (concierge / housekeeping service).

Other notes:
- Bed linen and towels are included.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- Fireplace: firewood is not provided. You can buy some at the garden centre less than 1 km away, as well as at nearby supermarkets.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please ensure you leave it in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
