The elevator only worked part of the time so we had to make my 80 year old walk up and down 3 flights of steps multiple times... the couch the wires had been cut so they didn't recline.. other than that it was perfect great location great balcony and access to the ocean!!

Thanksgiving get-a-way

Our family of 5 greatly enjoy the location and amenities this property provided. We were able to relax, enjoy the golf, the pool or the hot tub! The location is great - right on the beach! We would highly recommend and hope come back and stay again in the future!!

Site doesn’t do the condo justice! It’s light and airy! Beds are ver comfy! Sofa is a recliner!

We had a blast! Beautiful condo. Very comfy. Two patios very nice and the view was great! Over looks part of the RV park but people were quiet and respectful! All in all was the perfect place! Will be back!

Overall great

Had difficulty checking in as the door code we were given did not work, and some minor projects need done on the unit for sure. But overall it was satisfactory and we had a great time.

Seacape June 2021

We have stayed in various condos at the Seascape over the last 20 years. This condo has been nicely remodeled and the floor plan is great. We had other family members in other condos and we gathered in our condo for dinner every night. Having a table that opens to seat 4-5 people worked great. Loved having the big tv's in every room. The split bathroom worked well for adults. I will stay here again.

Change of Plans

We were meant to renew our vows the weekend of our stay. This condo was for our employees to stay at and our family was meant to stay at a different location. Our other reservation was cancelled on us last minute so we stayed here instead. Everything was great. 4 stars for cleanliness because there were still coffee grounds in the coffee maker. If this unit had laundry we would certainly stay again.

Great location- needs maintenance!

Kevin is great. Pool’s enjoyable and loved the beach! Maintenance issues . Maintenance man appears without notice ?” Cracked window in door between master bedroom and deck, torn window screen. No pillow cases for extra pillows. Kitchen well stocked and parking convenient!

Elevator wasnt working. Had to walk up stairs to 3rd floor. My wife and daughter both have asthma.

Check before renting

It needs repairs. No curtain/blinds on the full glass door in the Mbdrm so you'll need to dress else where as the RV lot is next door. I had to clean the Mbath sink so it would drain. Numerous other items need to be addressed. We've stayed at this resort 3 other times and never had issues.

Girls trip

We had a great time and the condo did have all that it adviretised however; there were definitely some maintenance issues that could be addressed. 1. Cracked window in master bedroom. 2. Dresser in master bedroom only on 3 legs. 3. One door in shower doesn’t work at all. 4. Screened tire on living room window. It’s better for a consumer that these things are fixed so that they feel confident that they are not gonna get accused of tearing these things up. Other than those things that need addressed we had a great time.

Great stay in Galveston for family!

We are a family of 5 and found this place to be just the space we needed to enjoy the week. Checkin process was very easy! Lots of details communicated ahead of time and the security at check in were very helpful and friendly. The condo itself was exactly as listed. Lots of extras including utensils needed for cooking, wine opener, pizza cutter, scissors, ect. There were plenty of plates, silverware, cups, a coffee pot and ground coffee available for use, also a fridge with filtered water. I would consider upgrading their cooking pans and we supplied extra garbage bags but that’s about it, everything else was great and more than what we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot! All of the TV’s worked as expected and there were detailed directions to run everything. The two decks were awesome! The heated pool and direct access to the beach with younger children is priceless in my opinion. Along the Seawall where other hotels were, you have to cross the road and it’s SOOO busy. I’m so glad we went with this property for safety and ease of access. It’s also a little further down the road away from all the ‘noise’ of Galveston, which I also appreciated. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

why we won't stay again

we won't stay again due to many issues including lighting or lack of in kitchen (lights under cabinets in kitchen don't work), layout is super odd as there's a huge closet and ac unit in middle of kitchen. table seats just 2 unless you put in work to make it work for 4 (but unit sleeps 6), entire hole screen in living room window (small child could crawl through the hole), lock to balcony doesn't work (I am not strong enough to open it), there's a crack all the way through the glass in door to bedroom door that is super dangerous, dresser in bedroom missing a leg, NO closets available (except one full of stuff in 2nd bedroom), no TP holder in one of the bathrooms (it's supposedly the "master" bathroom), door to only shower will not open / slide. Oh and it's a 3rd floor unit and elevator was not working a lot of the time and there was a hole in elevator floor! 1st they patched it, then a better patch both times when we needed to use it. Lastly why didn't VRBO host handle our reservation? instead we had to deal with 2 companies, VTrips and Ryson, how can we avoid this in future?

Enjoyed our stay! Clean condo, seconds to beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at this unit. I'll list the things we enjoyed about this condo as well as a few cons. We rented this condo with no prior reviews so this might be helpful information to the owner and future renters. 2 good sized balconies, one off the living area and one off master. Ocean views to the Southwest from both balconies. Note on view - there is an RV park very visible to the west, however being on the 3rd floor it isn't terrible. Private wooden walkway to beach with security code. Nice to not share the beach with a million people. Being further west from the major tourist area it was very quiet/secluded. Pool Area is nice and clean. Large swimming pool and two large hot tubs. We were in the hot tub every night and was never too crowded. Bring your own beach/pool towels. Plenty of guest parking. Parking attendant was very friendly and helpful. Elevator that runs well. Laundry facilities on 2nd & 3rd floors. Note: there is no change machine so bring change. $1.50 per load (wash and dry). Condo has new flooring and what appear to be new beds (King in master, Queen in 2nd bedroom, bunk beds in main area). All had very comfortable mattresses and bedding. Note: Bring extra pillows and blankets because there are no extras. All mattresses have plastic covers (assuming for small children who may wet the bed). Not a big deal for us although the 2nd bedroom mattress cover was really thick and hot to sleep on. Not enough comfortable seating in condo. One couch and one really small chair. Condo sleeps 6 - not ideal for watching TV/movies as a group. No access to master closet. It's locked for owner items. Would be nice though to have had a place to hang clothes in that room. 2nd bedroom does have a nice sized closet though. No eating area on balcony. Not a huge deal but would be nice to have a tall table to eat breakfast on and watch the ocean. Frying pans really need to be replaced. I cooked breakfast daily and the pans provided are very scratched and worn. Otherwise, kitchen is stocked with plenty of utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, etc. Coffee maker isn't the best. We brought our own coffee and it tasted pretty bad. Could have been the water?? Unit is managed by Ryson Rentals and they were extremely easy to work with and very helpful. Note to owner: Shower drain is clogged and very slow to drain. Also, a lamp in the living area would be nice.

Great spot in Galveston!

Super close walk on the boardwalk to the beach, easy access from the road, quiet, great view of the beach from both balconies. Balcony off the master bedroom has a pair of higher chairs perfect for looking at the beach without the rail in your line of sight, I wish the other balcony (and every other condo I've stayed in) had this setup! Floor plan is a bit awkward but totally workable, beds were comfortable and the place was well stocked. Pool area was a nice size but water was too warm. The elevator is slow, but really close to the room, as are stairs.

Quick getaway

We had a quick three night stay at the beginning of August. The condo needs a deep clean. The rug in the living room is nasty. The edges are brown and frayed. Also, the furniture needed to be vacuumed and wiped down as there were crumbs and dried food on both the chairs and coffee table. Good news is that the views are great, the location to the beach is wonderful and the air conditioner worked well. I would stay here again…after a good deep cleaning.

Weekend trip

We have stayed at Seascape several times and always love it. Enjoy the pool, hot tub and the convenience of going to the beach. This time we had problem with door code but was fixed within 2 minutes of me calling after hour number, and could never figure out how to turn the lights on in the kitchen area so was dark while trying to cook, other than that the condo was well stocked and great location would diffidently stay here again.

Great condo on the beach with beautiful ocean views

Clean, well equipped condo, decorated with good taste. No need to use the car during your stay to go to the beach. There is security at the entrance of the complex. Also beach is quite apart from the seawall and has a life guard on duty. All those are big plusses for somebody that is looking to have a pleasant getaway in a safe and secure place. We were five (three adults and two young children) and stayed comfortably in the apartment. Very well managed.
