Simply stated this is just not true. We are in Alaska, in a ski resort... and it was just another day of winter, in fact a mild one. We had several friends drive the road that day and they reported no problem at all. If we refunded everyone because it snowed in our ski resort town, we would not be in business very long. Clearly this person did not stay and wanted a refund, this is not a reason to not recommend, because it was actually completely in their control, it was a choice not to come.

Dryer sheets can be strong for some, we are sorry the scent was too much in this case, and use them only sparingly.

Thank you, we do have a few rules and guidelines to help everyone have a good experience AND we do try to communicate if you read what is sent to you. Hot tub hours are on the website and in the confirmation and welcome message. So... it is a conundrum to be considered "rule heavy" and hope everyone reads those rules to be "aware"...but in the end it is the rules and quality of the place that makes it a good experience.

The Hayloft is part of a Boutique property in a small ski village an hour from a larger city...so things are not as "available" as they are in Miami where this guest is from. Prior to booking he asked what the internet speed was, and i provided it. He booked, as the internet speed apparently was adequate. The internet speed continued to be what we indicated it was, but the internet apparently kept reconnecting, something you would never notice unless you were doing specific transactions... no other guests were having any problems. When i was made aware of this issue we tried everything we could while in contact with my IT guy and the internet provider. Neither could understand or fix the problem with all they tried, a service team would need to come out and address the issue, and that would be at least a week away. I told the guest on day 2 that i would refund his reservation because i have lived here 26 years and know how long things can take to get service and the guest had been very clear to me that he needed the internet to work. That was not good enough for the guest, he was intent on me fixing the problem and making it 'good". He even went on to threaten me with bad reviews if i didn't get things "right" with the internet... so here it is... And there is not a blender in the Hayloft, but if you want one to be there... prior to arriving just let us now =)
