8 Minutes to Gulf Shores Sportsplex, 11 minutes to OWA, and only 15 Minutes to Orange Beach Sportsplex!!! Escape to where the only wildlife of a beach vacation is the mullet jumping, dolphins feeding, and ducks quacking by! This two bedroom/one bath cabin sleeps 6, has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, and all the serenity you could ask for! Sitting directly on the Bon Secour River, it is minutes from the outlet malls as well as from Gulf Shores’ beaches. The gated community of 18 free-standing cabin units has a swimming pool and boat launch, and each cabin has its own private pier to tie up your boat after cruising down the river to Bon Secour Bay, Mobile Bay, the Intracoastal, or out into the Gulf of Mexico. Or, enjoy the kayak and canoe and explore the upper river. Spend evenings grilling out and lounging in the hammock and swing, watching the herons, pelicans, jumping mullet, and occasional pods of dolphin. Or drive just minutes to enjoy Gulf Shores and Orange Beaches’ attractions. Foley offers shopping @ The Tanger Outlets along with many restaurants to choose from.

Great Place

We had an awesome time here, clean and was great to get out of the heat during our softball tournament. Great access to the beach, restaurants, and softball fields.

Summer vacation

This is our second time to Gulf Shores and enjoyed staying @ your rental property. We came with our daughter and her best friend, we had a fun and relaxing time and one of our favorite parts of our trip, was coming back to “our house” at the end of the day 😀

Loved Staying Here!

We were so lucky to find this "gem" of a place last minute due to some unexpected business in Gulf Shores and that would accept our two little dogs! Decorated so stylish and had everything we needed.....plus overlooked the river with lots of turtles, cranes, and jumping fish! Owner was super nice and flexible...great for family or couple and a major plus is you can bring your small four-legged babies!

Weekend Getaway in October

Cozy, clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for us because we spent most of our time in Foley. But still very convenient to Gulf Shores. We also went to the state park. We ate out, so we only used the kitchen for coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot to unwind

We were fortunate to find this quiet corner of Alabama to retreat, or run from hurricane Irma. This was a perfect accidental find and we plan on returning. So relaxing, so calm, as we fled and waited to go home after a true storm. Thanks for being there for our family and needs.

quiet spot

nice quiet spot. hanging out on deck in the afternoon was great. hammock was relaxing. house swayed a little but it was nothing scary. the keypad for the gate was at an angle that we had to get out the car to enter the code.

Very Pleased

Property was just what our family of five needed. Clean. Comfortable. Convenient to OWA and everything Foley has to offer. Camp like setting on the Bon Secour was very nice. Wish I would have brought life jackets for the canoe. Was able to catch a couple small Red Fish right off of the dock. Turtles swam right up to the dock looking for us to toss them some snacks. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for baseball families!

My husband and sons recently traveled to Gulf Shores for a little league world series tournament. They immediately fell in love with the home and the close proximity to the Foley Sports Complex. The house is fully-equipped with all your home needs and the boys loved sleeping on the king-sized bed! They didn't get the chance to take the kayak out on the river, but they did find time to take a dip in the pool. The reservation process was extremely easy and it was a pleasure working with Ms. Charlotte. She provided detailed check in/out procedures and responded promptly to our questions. Overall, the boys agreed they would definitely stay here again! Next time, I'm definitely tagging along!

Deeper cleaning is needed...Fan on stand in second bedroom is extremely dirty...Most important. The stair at the bottom of the stairway is improperly built and is dangerous...For the sake of others who will be enjoying this lovely spot, please have that attended to..We really enjoyed ourselves...Sure did wish that we had a little canoe to use on that beautiful river...Thanks

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this house! It was well maintained, comfortable and cozy. The house is only about 6 years old so everything was fresh and new. The kitchen had everything we needed (blender, cookware, child's cups and plates, knives, etc.). The community was wonderful. We met both sets of neighbors who were very friendly and offered help if we needed anything. We fished, swam in the pool, visited the beach, and went out in the canoe. The kids brought their bikes and sidewalk chalk. They loved the hammock and porch swing underneath the house. The children had a great time as did we. I woke up every morning and sat out on the porch in a rocking chair reading my book and ended my nights the same way. I would advise anyone (single or family) to rent this house.

Weekend with our daughter & her new fiancé

This trip was to begin wedding planning for our daughter’s recent engagement. She lives in Loxley Al and this property is right down the road in Foley Al near the Alabama beach towns of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. We’d usually stay at the beach but being the height of beach season I decided to go a different direction & it worked out. This bungalow is in a small group of 16-18 such dwellings right on the Bon Secure river about a mile off of the main thoroughfare of Hwy 59. The unit we stayed in was small and kinda tight in the bedrooms & bath but adequate for our needs. There is a small porch facing the river that was excellent for morning coffee. The river is pretty lively I saw both Cranes & Pelicans fishing, fish jumping and a lot of turtles. Very entertaining. If you fish….bring your tackle….I don’t but this place begs one to bait a hook and the next time I’m pretty sure I will. The house is on stilts so depending on your situation the stairs maybe a thing. Finally there is a restaurant that is essentially right on the property called The Galley we found delightful. It ain’t fancy ….but it’s one of those places I love to find. Everything was magnificent we ate there. We’ll do this again
