Beautiful, quiet setting on the water. Cottage is clean and well-appointed with charming decor. Screened porch and outside deck perfect for summer meals while enjoying the view. Peaceful and relaxing. Easy drive to many interesting destinations for day trips. Thoroughly enjoyable stay

Ocean side cottage

Lovely ocean side cottage, very comfortable, great yard to walk and run our puppy, ocean seals were a plus, beautiful moon over the water

The cottage is very welcoming and quaint . A beautiful location overlooking the water. The area in very nice and being only 19 minutes from town was in a great location . Everything was excellent with nothing missing . We couldn’t have asked for anything . We had our coffees on the screened porch each morning and walked the shore most days while the tide was out . I would highly recommend this cottage . Thank you Tammy for a wonderful stay .

Everything went smoothly except Air Canada ruined our last day by canceling our trip home due to strike. Talk about stranded. Best food we ate was the Lobster Melt sandwich in Georgetown at The Wheelhouse ! Went back for more.

I seriously did not want to leave...

This was the best vacation rental I have ever had. Seriously, the location was beyond expectations, the tranquility, the scenery, the quaintness of the house, it was perfect. Thanks to Tammy for the local goodies and for opening up her little piece of paradise to us. I totally enjoyed the trip to the Atlantic Provinces in part to this little hidden gem.

Quiet Delightful Getaway

Really wonderful cottage away from things but not hard to reach. Great view of a calm bay. We enjoyed this as a base for getting around PEI. It's a nice drive to Inn at Bay Fortune for the Fireworks Feast, not far from Point Prim, and maybe 45 minutes to Charlottetown. Everything was very clean, communication was easy, getting in and out a breeze.

Tranquility Indeed

Moonlight Cottage has everything a guest could ask for. The location is ideal for just staying put and relaxing or taking day trips to some beautiful places. The cottage is comfortable and well-provisioned. The deck is a great feature in any weather. The moonrises over the bay are beautiful. Tammy and Mike are very attentive and responsive hosts. We hated to leave!

Perfect Cottage

Wife and I spent 3 nights here. Great cottage! Everything you need. A beautiful setting. Location is quiet with a small park behind it…then the water. Wow! Our pup loved the park. The owner communicated quickly and answered all of our questions.

Great little cottage

We were totally impressed with the property. It had everything we needed (except sunshine, lol) It was just as it appeared in the pictures on the VRBO site. We had some minor technical issue which were resolved immediately which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend this property and will consider staying there again if we are on the island.

What a wonderful stay at the Moonlight Cottage! We would sit on the porch every morning and evening, it was so peaceful and tranquil watching the fishing boats/trawlers, the seals splashing and playing, and the moon coming up over the horizon reflecting on the water. We were fortunate to be at the cottage for the full moon, beautiful! The cottage was clean and well stocked with the necessary provisions. We visited some of the places Tammy the host had suggested and had an a wonderful time at all! Tammy was a very responsive host. PEI did not disappoint, the beauty of the island is magnificent! We definitely would stay here again!

Location was beautiful overlooking the water. Cottage was cute but tired. Had some issues with the washer and the shower which were not able to be fixed during our stay. Communication with owner was good.

Thanks for the review Ralph, we were happy to offer you alternatives for your laundry and hope that helped. I'm sorry you were not comfortable with having contractors there too have the repairs done while you were on vacation. The water system has since been repaired. It was a breakdown in the water sand filtration system and the plumber fixed it as soon as you left. I'm sorry that you found the cottage tired or disappointing. We will certainly look to see what we can do to update it without changing the cottage feel that most of our guests find so appealing. Thanks again for letting us know. That's how we learn and how we get better. 😊

Private cottage with view

Cottage was very clean and comfortable. When we weren't out exploring the island, we enjoyed the peace and quiet on the back porch with the view of the sea. Thank you,Tammy, for the local goodies. They were a treat. My only suggestion would be to have written instructions at the house with the Wi-Fi password. We struggled to find it, and without CP service outside the US, we had no way to contact anyone to answer our questions.

A very pleasant experience!

Spent the first week of September at the Moonlight Cottage. We traveled through PEI in the past but never stopped to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and everything was as advertised on Vrbo. The cottage itself is nice and cozy and its location makes it easy to explore many of the island's east side attractions within an hour's drive or so. The area is quiet and the small public park behind the property was great for our two dogs. Panmure Island's beach is only 15 minutes away, very clean and uncrowded. The hosts really care about making sure everything is fine for their guests. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend this property and would rent again in the future.

This place was everything that showed on the listing. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The place was beautiful, quiet, peaceful. I wuld like to thank Jay one of the reps for Vrbo. We got their and didn't have any info on how to get in. This was more our fault not good on computer. Caller and got a person named Jay he was great. Our only problem was we could not get the internet to work or the TV. This did make a much quiter holiday.
