Living the Dream Cabin 3BR/2BA Log Cabin near Boone, NC

If you love a country road and the cool shade of the forest, come and enjoy this mountain dream cabin--nestled in the trees on a wooded acre of land with soft mountain views in a scenic rural area 15 minutes from Boone/20 minutes to Blowing Rock,  with access to the incomparable Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountain to Sea Trail a short drive away.  The dining and shopping downtown Boone is within a reasonable driving distance.  Visit the local breweries and wineries, take a day trip to beautiful Valle Crucis, have some local food at the popular Blue Ridge Diner (just minutes away), or enjoy a sunset from one of the many Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks.

This immaculately maintained log cabin features a desirable open floor plan, three bedrooms, and two full baths, plus an open loft area.  The main floor has a king bedroom with an adjoining hall bath while the upstairs features a queen bedroom, a loft with a futon, and a third bedroom with sturdy bunk beds, plus a second bath!  The cabin sleeps six with the futon for overflow.  There are 2 TVs--a flat screen in the great room and one in the loft.   TV is satellite. 

Relax on the covered front porch and enjoy the peaceful setting, mountain views, and cool breezes.  The porch has comfortable seating for six, with a beautiful wicker sofa and matching chairs with footstools.  A gas grill is located on the covered porch.

During cooler weather, enjoy the glowing warmth of the gas log fireplace in the living room.  The cabin is air-conditioned for your year-round enjoyment as well.

There is  satellite TV, high-speed internet, and Wifi

All towels and linens are furnished and the kitchen is well equipped for your stay-at-home evenings and home-cooked meals, while all the restaurants of Boone and Blowing Rock are always a short drive away, if you prefer not to cook.

This cabin was perfect for our annual Thanksgiving trip to North Carolina. The cabin was very cozy, clean, easy to get to and located in a very quiet area. We spent every night in front of the fireplace while watching tv or playing games. It also felt centrally located to all the major towns such as Boone and Blowing Rock. The management company was excellent and very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. They definitely make sure you have every piece of information you need before you arrive. We would definitely choose to stay in this cabin again.

Just as advertised

My family really enjoyed our stay. We loved the peaceful seclusion provided by this location, but still the close proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock for shopping and entertainment. We would very much consider returning to this cabin for future vacations.

Just what the doctor ordered

Perfect quiet getaway. Just far enough away from town to be perfect. When we were ready to see the sights just a short drive away. We took my parents for a getaway that has been very much needed.

It was a perfect woodsy feel cabin. A fully quipped cabin, including hiking back packs and extras.

We really enjoyed our stay! It’s a fully equipped cabin with all the extras- pack packs, skewers, soft blankets, good pillows. A perfect woodsy feel. But we bought our own laundry soap, and paper towels.

I have been dreaming of taking my grandkids to Tweetsie R.R. I have been there as a Child, Father and Granddaddy(A.K.A. “Pappy”) 😇Thanks to opening up your cabin to complete strangers👍. The cabin was Cozy, secluded( enough for us) and well maintained . I will recommend this cabin for party of 6.5…4 adults, 2 youths and baby girl.

Excellent secluded cabin

Went for my wife’s 40th birthday weekend. Cabin size was perfect for us with 2 small children ages 10 and 6. Plenty of games to keep busy as well as a game system upstairs for them to stay up there to give mom and dad some separate time. Well stocked kitchen. Only complaint was the internet kept going out and had to restart router several times. Would not be such a big deal except that the cabin was so secluded, which we loved, except there was no cell signal for our phones and the only way to communicate was via Internet wifi due to the phone not working in the cabin. It was a minor inconvenience at best because we spent a lot of time towards Boone so no real worries. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back again.

Great Stay!

Real log cabin, very clean, all amenities. Check in process was hassle free. My family enjoyed the stay. Roxu TV with multiple apps, DVDs, XBox. New addition to deck. I was very happy with the cabin and the price point. I would definitely recommend the cabin to others ;-)
