The Harbor Island pool is open from April 1 - November 1.

Renters must be 25 or older to reserve our property.

** Please note there is enough parking for up to 1 vehicle at this property. Parking spaces are unassigned for Cedar Reef Villas **
Harbor Island Owners Association require a gate pass to gain access to the private island. GATE PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Vehicle gate pass fees are per vehicle, set by the Island and are subject to change. The current rates are; for a day pass $25.00; 2 nights $35.00; 3 nights $45.00; 4 nights $55.00; 5 nights $65.00; 6 nights $75.00; 7 nights $85.00; 8-30 nights $140.00; 31-364 nights $215.00.

Great Place, Great View

Condo was wonderful. Looks newly renovated, great decor. Bed was super comfortable. 2 separate decks, and direct access to walkway to beach. Location is fantastic. Hope to return soon.

Very Comfortable Stay

The condo was great. Very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. I have had that be a problem in other rentals on the island. I hate being hot and night:-) Martha was very quick to respond to all of my questions before my trip and the property manager was also very quick to respond once we arrived. I would definitely rent again!

Cockroach/Water Bug

The location is beautiful, rural, secure, and close to the beach. On night two, a huge cockroach/water bug with large antennas scurried across the pillows on the bed, and we were unable to locate it to ensure that it did not return when we went to bed. I attempted to contact the leasing company using the emergency line since I did not have bug spray and there weren’t any stores within 10 minutes of the abode. After 3 calls to the rental company, an e-mail and contacting VRBO, a text was received about a refund for that night by the leasing entity. I left the abode that night without an alternative form of lodging. Of note, I had to drive to Beaufort to obtain cellular frequency. Imagine sitting in your vehicle in a public parking lot at night searching for hotels in the area. One might say, I could have stayed in the condo over night. As a provider, who has removed buds from the ears of patients, I did not want to suffer such an ill-fate. All in all, money was lost and so was the joy of staying in such a beautiful place.

Beautiful Stay On Harbor Island

We stayed in this Harbor Island condo October 22nd-25th. The property was just as described (better), and the location was perfect for my wife and me. Condo was very tastefully decorated and we had all of the amenities that we needed. So nice not to have to carry linens/towels. Weather while there was pretty incredible, and we spent all of our time outdoors either on the beach, on the Harbor River strand, or exploring Hunting Island beach and park. At night the natural darkness allows you to see the Milky Way (something I used to take for granted). Got to know the owner of the new store at the Beach and Racquet Club (pools) and ended up watching one sunset from the terrace there. Dozens and dozens of birds roosting - the most impressive were the wood storks, which are actually a protected species. So good to see their strong comeback on HI. Overall, lots of wildlife (inc. bald eagles), and we've never seen so many dolphins. Both on HI and on pier at Hunting Island State Park. We tend to eat "lite" for breakfast and lunch, and then enjoy an early supper. This trip we ate twice at Johnson Creek Tavern (one takeout and once in bar). Both meals very good. Also ate dinner at The Fish Camp in Port Royal. Excellent atmosphere, views, and food. Lunch on the way down at Plums in Beaufort. It is always consistent from our experience. Again, we are outside people, and averaged walking 8-12 miles per day. So for us, HI provided the ideal getaway spot. We have already talked about a return trip in the fall. One last note, communications with both the owner Martha and property manager Jennifer were extremely professional and prompt, and that made the experience even more seamless. Thanks to both of you.

Lovely Condo, Great Location

Everything went perfectly with our stay at Harbor Island. The condo was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Jennifer, the property manager, stayed in contact and was very helpful as it was our first visit to the area. We are definitely planning to return in the future and would rent this condo again. Thanks to the owner for her hospitality.

Great Getaway

As others have commented, the location of this condo is great. We enjoyed the views of the marsh and the quick access to the beach. The condo is very neat and comfortable. We appreciated the great quality of the deck furniture. We ate many meals there. My wife especially liked the artwork throughout the condo! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect trip!!!

We truly couldn’t have had a better weekend at the villa!! It was PERFECT!! Close walk to the beach on the beautiful boardwalk. The villa was stocked with plenty of towels in the restrooms, the kitchen had everything we could have needed, and the beds were so comfortable!! It was beautifully decorated and SO clean!! We will absolutely be back again, wish it was sooner rather than later!!

We love Harbor Island!

Nice clean condo. A short walk to the beach. All the amenities. We had a minor problem that was quickly addressed by the owner. This is perfect for a couple. We will definitely be back.

This was a lovely place to stay. Quiet with gorgeous views of the salt marsh. Some steps to get in and out but still fine for a lady with two remodeled hips!

Easy living!

Beautiful view, truly hard to beat this view in the Carolinas. Three pools. Quiet and serene with all the comforts of home. 1st floor is very nice. Owner is professional, informative and quick to respond. Really hope to stay here again for at least a week. These condos are great for family vacations. We’ve stayed here three times and we don’t want to go anywhere else.

Great beach community

Nice area with awesome marsh and beach views. Condos are in good shape and have been updated(even though it is an older complex still nice) pool area was also nice. Very close to Hunting Island State Park which is well kept and absolutely beautiful. Would definitely return.

Lovely Condo in Perfect Location

We could not have enjoyed our stay more! The condo was better than described! Very comfortable and well equipped. We cooked most evenings and the kitchen was well equipped! Our absolute favorite thing was the porch off the main room with the beautiful marsh view. . Spent every morning there drinking coffee and every evening there with adult beverages! The beach was a short walk away and we spent hike waking while the ride was out! Definitely go to Gay Seafood for fresh fish amid shrimp! Amazing week!
