This rental was exactly as described in the VRBO listing and most of the reviews. Its all about the million dollar view and easy access to the beaches south of Kona. Easy access to Kona - short car or Uber ride. Unit clean and well equipped.

This condo was perfect for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a ac unit in each room if u need it but the breeze coming thru straight from the ocean was awesome. We sat on the balcony and watched dolphins in the morning. And kept the bedroom slider open to sleep to the sound of the waves.Would gladly return on our next visit to Kona.

We had a fantastic stay at this condo and would absolutely come back! Everything was spotless and clearly very well cared for, which made it feel comfortable right away. The lanai was a highlightā€”those sunset views were truly incredible and something we looked forward to every evening.The air conditioning worked great and made a huge difference, especially in the warmer weather. The location was convenient and right by the ocean. Parking was also simple and hassle-free.While the street noise can be a bit loud at times in the second bedroom, but, it didnā€™t take too much away from our overall experience. The concierge service was a thoughtful touch, even though we didnā€™t end up needing it.The only minor drawback for us was that the beds were much firmer than our personal preference. Overall though, we would highly recommend!

The view is phenomenal! We saw whales almost everyday from our lanai. The unit was a little small for three adults but we still enjoyed it. Very convenient location as well.

First trip to Hawaii

Kona Bali Kai delivered exactly as hoped. The view is incredible, Da Poke Shack is on site. Enjoy Hawaii by day and a prime view of the Pacific from the lanai at your pleasure. The walk to the Kona market center on Ali'i is a little busy but it is flat and has designated pedestrian/bike lanes on both sides. We loved it!

View is amazing and you won't get closer to the ocean! Management responsive and helpful. We appreciated the cooler and beach supplies. AC in the bedroom was out 6 days. Management was very responsive, but then repair person showed up without notice. We specifically had looked for a place with in bedroom AC, but luckily the other units worked. Bathrooms were dirty-multiple hairs in shower, shower curtain stained, and tile and tub overall worn. Washer was musty and left clothes smelling mildewy. Dead plant on the lanai. Some pictures faded badly. Pillows were so fluffy (only option) that we went and bought some flatter ones. Overall property is run down and could use attention.

Really enjoyed the sunsets every evening. Saw sea turtle in the water near shore. Comfy bed, quiet and convenient location. Some of the glass in the lanai sliding doors is fogged which detracts from the view but nevertheless we enjoyed our stay here!

Kona Bali Kai

The condo was nicely done and very comfortable. The building was worn in the underground parking was a little difficult because the spaces were very close together. However, it was nice to have underground parking.
