The Lodge can also be combined with the homes next door to accommodate large events like
family reunions, weddings, and corporate events. Guests booking our combo listing can exclusively enjoy a private pier. When booked separately, the pier is shared among the two houses.

Other things to note:
There will be an added fee for the heated pool if youā€™re visiting in the cooler months or just want the pool a bit warmer. Please ask ahead of time as it takes time to heat up.

Wheelchair accessible via the back entrance, providing step-free access into the home. A bedroom is available on this level. No lift available.

Guest must sign and comply with the rental agreement in order to stay. We also require a government-issued photo ID and security deposit on all bookings.

We welcome up to 2 pets. It is charged $125 per pet. Don't forget to include them in your booking for a smooth check-in experience. Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture. If evidence of pets on these surfaces is found, the security deposit will be withheld to cover the deep cleaning fee.

Excellent Stay. The home is beautiful and so are the grounds. It was a very relaxing visit and the views are amazing! Gorgeous pool!The only thing I wish was that I knew going in that I needed to press the Yale button on the outside lock to activate the door lock.I have to thank the owner for putting this home on VRBO. Making this home available to rent is a treasure.

From swimming, to cornhole, to fishing we celebrated my sons graduation in style. Beautiful views and more. The host was amazing and made sure anything we needed was available.Will absolutely stay again.

Well maintained property, close to great amazing restaurants. The family loved this place. Not one complaint during the stay. If your looking for an amazing place for the family to enjoy some relaxation, quit searching and just book it!!!!

Great Week!

We stayed for a week with a full house of kids and adults, property was clean with lots of room. Fishing was great, pool was great, and host was very helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Family Christmas

Our family decided to do a beach house Christmas this year. We had so much fun fishing, swimming, cooking are you going out to eat at the wonderful local restaurants. The house was great for us because all the young kids could be downstairs together.

Spring break serenity

We just spent a week at this beautiful home in San Leon, TX with family. Gorgeous space, spacious living room with gas fireplace to relax and wind down in. The heated pool was incredible and had various spaces in it from shallow water with an umbrella for some shade, bench seating, a hot tub, and larger swimming area up to 4.5ā€™ deep. Caught sting ray off the dock and saw dolphins. Thank you for hosting us! Sam was so helpful and accommodating and really went the extra mile! Would love to come back!

Family vacation

Myself, my kids and their spouses, my grandkids, 18 of us, had a wonderful time at the lodge. Plenty of room to spread out and big enough spaces to all come together. The house and grounds are beautiful, the pool and fishing pier were used daily. Close to Kemah and Galveston for a night out. When items needed to replaced it was done promptly and the host was quick to respond. Our trip was cut short by two days due to Hurricane Beryl, but we will be going back in the Fall.

Awesome Vacation Rental

Looking for a nice relaxing vacation rental with "everything" - We highly recommend the Landing ! Plenty of space for everyone, comfortable beds, clean pool, pier with fishing lights. We've rented places in Galveston for 30+ years and either bring to much or have to make trips to the store for necessities (shampoo, soaps, detergents, spices, etc.). Everything was there! Great pool / spa, BBQ pit, multiple TVs on every floor to watch the playoffs. Really first class, great setup and really decorated for that "on the bay" feel ā€“ and the pictures on VRBO are exactly as advertised! Several nice restaurants in the area if you arenā€™t in the mood for cooking! You won't be disappointed with The Landing!

Beautiful property

The house is beautiful and the pool is wonderful. We spent at least part of every day swimming in the pool and enjoying the view. The rooms look exactly like the photos and the beds were comfortable. It was easy to get in contact with the property manager Sam. They could use some updates to the cookware and cutlery. The knives are particulary bad so if you are driving there I'd recommend bringing your own. The basement rooms had a very strange smell required us to wash our clothes before it would dissapate. It got slightly better after we emptied the dehumidifier but it was a bit off putting. If we'd had fewer guests we would have avoided sleeping down there.

Great pier, views and pool!

We enjoyed our stay here but the house and amenities could use some improvements / updating. The pier, views & pool are the best part of this property - we spent most of our time outdoors. Owner came morning after arrival to address some issues we had on arrival - no soap in some bathrooms, lightbulb in bathroom out which we appreciated. The kitchen had a good selection of spices & some basics, which was great but the nonstick pans were all very scratched. Unfortunately, the bedsheets did not smell clean and that was the biggest disappointment. Not sure if that's why they ask you not to strip the beds at checkout but yikes. Not fun to not look forward to getting under the covers at night in your bedroom. Would have been great to have a bigger grill outdoors for a house that sleeps 20. We had to grill in batches which took more time. Your kids will have a blast here though so it was worth the drawbacks.

Incredible getaway!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend here. The property is beautiful with professional decor. Spacious for our party of 10 adults and 5 small children. Living room and 2nd floor deck face the water with great views. The pool also has a spa with jets that we all enjoyed. We also caught lots of fish on the pier. Overall a beautiful and well-maintained property. Will be looking forward to booking it again in the future!
