Cozy cabin in the woods

Charming post and beam rustic built cabin with modern amenities. Located in the middle of the pere Marquette forest. Cabin sleeps 6, has 2 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths. Located in a very secluded area for you to enjoy some peace and quiet. Just 7 miles north west of Evart mi. Overlooks a bluff. This property is on a dirt road. We own 100 acres at the cabin site for you to explore, plus tons of side roads seasonal roads and state land for exploring. Located 3 miles from the Evart Motorsports trail. A short drive on a dirt road gets you to the Evart trails to enjoy your ORV, side by side, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. We have a nice outdoor fire pit, for you to have a bonfire. A really nice secluded cabin for your getaway. We welcome pets but there is a $25 pet fee, and we ask you please clean up their hair before you leave. Cabin was selected by mlive as one of the top cabins in Michigan.

House was very cozy, easy to check in, and full of useful amenities. The jacuzzi tub was my kids' favorite part, as well as the pinball machine. The jukebox was cool but skips really easily so not really something you will use often, but cool to see it working. The pellet stove worked very well and was nice to put damp clothes on to give a quick warm up since it was very cold outside when we visited. Checkout was 10am which came quickly - I was thinking more like hotels that are usually 11am and owner/cleaner was there at 10:04am so we were a bit surprised but packed up very quickly to get out and let him get the cleaning done. Overall, very good experience and even though we didn't use a lot of the additional amenities, there was a lot of things that I bring on my own that I didn't need to like shampoo, coffee, lots of kitchen utensils, etc. So it was more well stocked than I realized it would be - which is always nice.

Owner is a great communicator. The cabin is well equipped, and very accommodating. Very comfortable lots to offer. We had a great time!

We loved staying at this place as a quick getaway. Todd was great at communicating and everything was just as it was described. We took advantage of the pinball machine, Ms PacMan arcade game and jukebox. We would’ve loved to have done more things outside but it was a bit rainy. We did go for a short walk on the trail.We wi definitely be back!

What an amazing place to stay. The cabin was a lot more remote than we expected but the peace that we found was exactly what we needed. THE STARS! Omg the stars! Our first night was clear and we had never seen so many stars. Everything that we could have needed was provided, and the jukebox and games were so much fun! Definitely on the list for places to go back to.

Above ALL the properties I have booked and stayed at, this is by far the BEST!!!! Actually, the pictures don't do it justice. We walked in to a clean and welcoming beautiful Cabin. My grandkids (5 and almost 3) were absolutely excited to see the pinball machine AND they had Ms. PacMan!!!! To be honest, I'm not sure if they or I was more excited. The place was clean and cozy. Everything you could possibly need was there and more! Beautiful trails to walk and have an Adventure with the little ones. Todd provided plenty of chairs and seating inside and out! The woodwork in this place is SO beautiful. We will definitely be back as this is a great place to "Unplug and Unwind" away from anything busy. Just complete NATURE! Todd was an absolute pleasure and is VERY prompt with answering any questions or dealing with any concerns. SUPER nice guy. :) I could go on and on about how AWESOME this property is but I want it to be available for the future so....that's it!

Incredible, Can’t Wait to Go Back

I had an exceptional stay at Todd’s wonderful cabin in the woods. His communication was impeccable and made it easy to kick back and enjoy myself. From relaxing on the back deck to walking the mushroom path and sitting in the woods for hours, this was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve ever had. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, with a full kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and plenty of thoughtful amenities including fun arcade games, Netflix, A/C, a pellet stove, and a jukebox. My favorite part of the visit was the unlimited privacy and quiet, especially at night. I enjoyed my stay immensely and can’t wait to visit again with my family and for another solo trip (or two, or three).

While a little hard to find and not very impressive from the outside, inside was wondersful. Nice furnishings and several complementary activi\ties--a juke box, Ms. Packman, and a classic pinball machine. A large kitchen and bathroom (plus powderroom).

Absolutely perfect!

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin in the woods! It was the perfect spot to relax, unplug, and spend quality time with family. We enjoyed peaceful bonfires under the stars and had fun exploring the beautiful surrounding woods. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge and reconnect with nature!

Happy hiding.

Out side is not beautiful but the inside is magnificent... My husband has back issues and the hot tub did wonders for his pain . If we could have figured out how to get the king bed out we would have become a thief. We are both 70 and had never slept in such a more comfortable bed.ditto for the grand daughter and her friend that slept in the queen bed. My husband and I thought we missed pinball from the old days buy that bed over ran. Everything. It was worth it to see the girls faces about some jukebox songs. We were lucky to have 2 beautiful days and 2 rainy. On the rainy days we learned a lot about the girls, they were glad to stay in and hang out with us. The girls actually made the best chicken Alfredo for supper and a chocolate peanut butter frozen dessert. Both girls are going back to school for their 3rd semesters and looking forward to it. I was a bit surprised both girl wants to do the same for next year. Almost forgot the girls made s'mores and hand fed them to me and Grandpa. What wonderful memories for us all. Assuming Grandpa and I stay healthy we are all for this. Thank you Todd for letting us rent your extra house. God bless you..

Great getaway cabin

It was our second time visiting this great cabin in the woods, and it was perfect for our getaway. Listing is very accurate, the extras (pinball, jukebox etc.) are fun, and we had great communication with the host.

Great relaxing cabin

Very happy with this cabin in the woods secluded from the main road but still 15 minutes from Evart MI in case you need anything. Beds were very comfortable same with the couches lovely master bathroom too would stay at again. Found our it's 30 mins from the Tin Cup Orv trails which I've wanted to check out so that was a huge plus. Would recommend to friends and family!!

Beautiful Up-North Getaway

A perfect getaway in the woods with all the modern conveniences. We never felt a need to leave the property, although we did visit Evart and Reed City for fun. Coffee on the deck in the mornings, listening to the music of the birds. Campfires at night under a canopy of stars. So relaxing.
