Apartment in Dubrovnik with swimming pool and sea view (A5)

Family Zucalo offers you a relaxing stay in a newly built modern 80m² apartment. The apartment is fully air conditioned (three individually controlled air conditioners) and have two double bedrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, one Bathroom with shower and toilet, living/dining area, kitchen and a terrace.

Kitchen:
Dining table with seats, Kitchen with dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob and extractor fan, microwave, large fridge/freezer, espresso machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, dishes and cutlery and of course pots, pans, pasta strainer etc. Water glasses, wine glasses, champagne glasses, espresso cups and schnapps glasses are also available. Ground spices, sugar, olive oil, Vegeta are available cleaning cloths, sponge and dry towels, of course, too.
For the start, there are a few dishwasher tablets, espresso capsules, teabags and kitchen rolls ready for you.

Living - dining area:
Wonderful view from the sea. Size cozy corner couch with pullout function, 49 "LED satellite TV with Smart TV, PlayStation 3.
Dining table with seating for 4 persons.

Bathroom:
Separate shower area with a huge shower 1,20m x 0,80m. Sink with mirror, toilet and fitted wardrobes.
Towels, hairdryer and hand soap are available.

Bedroom 1:
The room has air conditioning, a window and a dormer that can be completely darkened.
Walk-in wardrobe, double bed 2m x 2m, bedside table with night lamp 40 "LED satellite TV.

Bedroom 2:
The room has a skylight which can be completely darkened.
Fitted wardrobes, futon bed 1.40m x 2.00m

Villa Celenca is located in Rijeka dubrovacka (marina of Dubrovnik), 6 km away from the old town, 5 km from the bus station, 25 km from the airport and 10 m from a bus stop. The connection with the city center and the beaches in Lapad is provided by a regular bus line. The buses leave every 20 minutes.

Boat dock: For guests who own a motorboat we have a dock near Villa Celenca.

Villa Celenca is located near the marina, which is a nice place for walks and a very interesting place for sailboat, motorboat and yacht

Medjugorje, Mostar, Montenegro Makarska and Split: are great destination for day trips with family or friends.

Wir wurden mit einem Kaltgetränk begrüßt und Wohnung war sauber, soviel zum Positiven. Ansonsten nicht empfehlenswert: Parksituation katastrophal und nicht wie auf dem Foto dargestellt, für größere Fahrzeuge (Kombis, SUVs) ungeeignet, in der Wohnung war vieles kaputt und durfte nicht angefasst werden, z.B. zugezogene Wohnzimmerjalousie (soviel zum "Meeresblick"), heruntergezogenes Verdunkelungsrollo im 2. Schlafzimmer kaputt, die Kinder hatten so niemals Tageslicht im Zimmer, Sat-Empfang ständig gestört, Backofen kaputt und nicht nutzbar, Grillen entgegen der Angabe auf der Internetseite nicht erlaubt, im Pool nicht mal ein leichter Wasserball erlaubt, Gartenbereich soll weitestgehend nicht betreten werden. Man hat eigentlich nur Verbote und Auflagen erhalten, dafür gab es aber keinerlei Bemühungen, die von uns angezeigten Mängel zu beheben. Als wir der Gastgeberin sagten, dass wir mit diesem Zustand absolut nicht zufrieden seien, wurde uns nur gesagt, wir könnten ja vorzeitig abreisen - natürlich ohne dass wir die nicht genutzten Nächte erstattet bekommen.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine de vacances en famille. La famille Zucalo nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Ils nous ont donné de bons conseils des plages à visiter. L’appartement est grand, bien décoré et équipé. Il y a assez d’espace pour ranger les habits. Il est plus petite qui semblait sur les photos. Literie très confortable. La piscine est peu fréquentée et les entourages verts bien entretenus. Nous avons retrouvé de la famille dans le pays et aurions voulus les inviter à manger avec nous, malheureusement ils n’ont pu passer que quelques instants pour donner de cadeaux aux enfants. Dommage que les visites des familles ou amis ne soient pas autorisées à l’intérieur des appartements. L’utilisation de la machine à laver est limité à une machine par séjour . La suivante est payante à 5€.. Nous recommandons cet logement sans hésitation.

Holiday in Dubrovnik

The apartment was clean and comfortable and our hosts, Mikhal and Anja, were friendly and helpful. Dubrovnik old town was a short bus ride away and locally there was a supermarket and a restaurant that offered lovely food.

Sehr schön!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Villa Celeste. Bei unserer Anreise mit großer Verspätung haben sie bis nachts auf uns gewartet und uns herzlich willkommen. Sehr (kinder-)freundliche Gastgeber mit vielen nützlichen Tipps, sehr saubere Wohnung und gute Erreichbarkeit nach Dubrovnik mit dem Bus. Auch in der näheren Umgebung gibt es mehrere Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten. Flughafentransfers wurden für uns gebucht. Wir sitzen wieder im verregneten Deutschland und vermissen das Leben in Mokošica. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Spent a lovely 10 days at this property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Micheal was very welcoming .

Pictures were a true representation of the apartments , pool and gardens. The property is a 30 minute bus drive away from the old town of Dubrovnik. Micheal and his family were very welcoming, and he gave us a bottle of his homemade wine which was delicious. We used it as a base to discover the area , Mokosica itself has 2 supermarkets , a beach bar and the restaurant Rosa Bianca, who we frequented regularly which serves reasonably priced food. Other than that we would eat in the old town when we were out for days, lots of lovely places to eat. Whilst we were there we did the 3 island boat trip, buggy trek into the mountains, sea kyaking around Locrum island, a days visit to Locrum and monastery, up the cable car to Mount Srd and walked around the old walls of the town. Such a beautiful place would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment away from the bustle of the city

Thank you Anya and Mihaelo for a wonderful stay in Mokosica. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The property was clean and well-decorated. Our family had a pleasant stay. The property is located outside the city and is opposite a bus stop with easy access into Dubrovnik old town. There is a lovely bakery 5-minutes from the property with lovely people working there and the bakes are a delight. We went everyday. There is also a bar/restaurant very close by too with good food cocktails and friendly people. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful & clean property!

We stayed at this VRBO for 5 days. The apartment was huge and equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very kind and let us know which bus to take into town, where the nearest super markets were, as well as nearby restaurants. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our visit. It was convenient for Dubrovnik bus and had pretty beaches nearby,. The apartment was clean and well equipped and hosts were very helpful. Hope to return .

Holiday in Dubrovnik

My husband, daughter and I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay in Mokosica. The apartment was beautiful and the grounds delightful. Ana, Milo and their family are lovely people and made you feel very welcome. The apartment was in a great location just outside Dubrovnik so we had the best of the peace and quiet of Mokosica and the liveliness of Dubrovnik. A bus stopped outside the apartment and was very reliable. All very handy for travelling around. There are some shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. A beautiful small marine is also within walking distance with sunning views.

Fabulous accommodation and super hosts

My husband and I (mid 50's) travelled with my mother (fit 79 year old) for our very first holiday to Croatia. The aim of our holiday was to relax, visit some of Dubrovnik's historic sites and beautiful coastline and islands . We booked Villa Celenca for 2 weeks because of the great reviews, location and the wonderful photographs which truly represent the accommodation and surroundings. We wanted to be near to Dubrovnik rather than in the city centre so good public transport was essential as we did not want to hire a car. Our hosts Milo and Anja live in the ground floor apartment and were extremely attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. They arranged our private taxi transfer from the airport to the accommodation and greeted us on arrival with a refreshing drink. We had the upper apartment which was perfect for us. 2 large bedrooms with storage space including a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom, very comfortable beds; large shower room with toilet, sink and loads of storage space with plenty fresh towels; fully fitted kitchen with cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer; large open plan lounge and dining area with a beautiful view over the estuary towards the Franjo Tudman suspension bridge. 3 air conditioning units kept the apartment comfortably cool. There is a laundry room on the ground floor which guests can use for a small charge. The garden is maintained beautifully and is laden with fruit trees including orange, mandarin, pomegranate, grape vines and flowers. Vegetables are grown to the rear of the property and Milo has another plot of land elsewhere where he grows all sorts of vegetables. Similarly the pool area is spotlessly clean and is maintained in excellent condition. There is an outdoor hot/cold shower to use prior to swimming. Milo and Anja invited us to join them for a glass of delicious homemade red wine one evening and we regularly enjoyed fresh grapes from the garden. Our hosts paid particular attention to my mother and made her feel like an extra-special visitor throughout our holiday. Although there are a number of apartments locally, one of the best things about Villa Celenca was that the area was not touristy or tacky. The nearest restaurant, Rosa Bianca is 100m away and served great food at a sensible price. The Vapor Bar/Cafe is on the waterside and quickly became our 'local'. Local shops provided all we needed within easy walking distance or a short bus ride. Thank you Milo and Anja for a truly wonderful holiday xxx

Great location, lovely hosts and beautiful apartment.

The hosts were absolutely lovely and helped with local information of where to eat and go. The bus stop is right outside the apartment which goes straight into Dubrovnik. There is a supermarket just down the road and a few restaurants and bars. The rooms are well equipped and the beds very comfortable. Surrounded by lovely gardens and the pool is always clean. Loved staying here ! Thank you.

Beautiful Apartment

Our stay in the Villa Celenca was wonderful but too short. The apartment was new, modern, and perfect for the four of us. It was fully equiped, what we really liked is the espresso machine. The family was very nice and helpful, Milo and Andja greeted us upon arrival and offered cold drinks and a day later they had given us a bottle of red wine along with fresh fruits. There was a 5 minutes walk distance to the bar, restaurant and a sweet little beach, 10 minutes walk distance to the supermarkrt and cash machine.... The bus stop is in right in front of Villa Celenca and we reach the old town of Dubrovnik in 20 minutes. I can recommend Villa Celenca to all the people who like family and friend’s gatherings. At the point again a big thank you to the super friendly owners. We will definitely visit Villa Celenca, Dubrovnik and Croatia again. Thank you very much.
