Family Friendly House in the Woods

The best Vermont has to offer. This spacious yet cozy home is perfect for a family or two and close to hiking, swimming, cycling, skiing, restaurants, the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and Stowe. The house is walking distance to downtown Morrisville and its restaurants, coffee shop, movie theater and more.

The house features a large living room w/ vaulted ceilings, lots of comfy furniture and a large TV. There is a covered screened in porch to enjoy the flower gardens in the warmer weather. The living room flows into the dining room and kitchen. There is a mudroom, a half bath and a laundry room as well. Upstairs there is a master bedroom and bath with a king bed. Two additional bedrooms and the other full bath finish off this level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two bunk beds that sleeps 4. The basement, featuring plenty of sunlight via the large windows has another family room with a TV and the fourth bedroom with a queen bed.

Great place for our family of 5 adults and 5 kids 4-12. Wonderful space with lots of room. Beds are very comfortable. The kids bunk room was a huge success for all the cousins to share a room. Very easy to get to Stowe and all the activities around. Driveway was plowed and sanded during our stay. Easy to drive in and out off the main road. Thank you Jeremey and family for sharing your beautiful home.

Much larger than the photos suggest. Quiet, comfortable home, with full kitchen and appliances.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property far exceeded our expectations. We plan to return in the summer months to enjoy all that Stowe has to offer.

This property was even nicer than the pictures. Great location, close to Stowe and Stowe Ski Resort. The host was amazing and the most responsive Iā€™ve ever experienced!! We would rent again in a heartbeat.

Very nice house and had everything we needed. Jeremy was very helpful and responsive. The location was also great and peaceful not so far from Stowe. We had a great time and would definitely come back again.

One of the things that I appreciated the most was the fact that the property is located on a very quiet, dead end Street. Not that I was concerned that we would bother neighbors, but I always try to be cognizant of issues like that. Only four of us stayed, but the kitchen table could easily accommodate six, and if you had to squeeze people in you could make it fit eight. Everything was clean and in great working shape, we found one thing that was broken upon our arrival late at night, I reached out at 7 AM the next morning And the owner had it replaced by 9:30 that day, we were incredibly impressed with the owners communication. Would absolutely stay here again, and we hope to this time next year.

Great stay close to the heart of Stowe

Responsive hosts, clean and comfortable and big enough for two families. The kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of intimate outdoor spaces. The hosts were extremely helpful in guiding us to the local attractions and gave us all of the insider tips. Looking forward to renting this place again for a longer stay. Five stars all around.

Wonderful Vermont Stay

The house was perfect, full of windows and beautiful views. Plenty of room for the five of us adults to have our own beds and even had an extra room downstairs. Location is perfect for walks in the woods watching the foliage change colors was amazing. Very quiet, no traffic, close to town and also close to Stowe. Everything we needed was there, would definitely stay again!

Ski weekend

The house is well maintained and very clean. It is just a short ride to town for groceries, the coffee shop, movie theater and restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet and we were able to see a few deer walk through the yard. The house is also conveniently located in the middle of a bunch of great ski areas. Communication with Jeremy was excellent from start to finish and I look forward to visiting again.

Fun ski house!

Two families (54) fit easily into this great cottage! It snowed, so a little sledding in the yard (sleds provided), skiing at Stowe & Smuggs, plus one journey to Bolton Valley, skating at the Stowe rinkā€¦but the best was the smores in the fireplace when we got home! Easy access to restaurants & grocerie A great host- super responsive and gave notice about plow comingā€¦all wonderful! Thanks!!

Great experience

Very nice property and great location, private setting but everything in the area is easily accessible. Owners are great, very responsive to questions and helpful throughout. Two families of 3 shared the property for a long weekend and there was plenty of space for all, bunk room was great for the two teens to stay up till till who knows what time. Given the hot weather the individually controlled AC in each bedroom was really nice! Would definitely look to stay here again should we end up back in the area.

FAMILY FRIENDLY HOUSE IN THE WOODS

There was a group of 5 of usā€¦. Our group was working around the Morrisville VT areaā€¦. This home was PERFECT for us!!! We had everything we needed!! REALLY appreciated the air conditioning!! The kitchen had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable! Great parking!! Thank you for hosting our group!!

We absolutely love Vermont, and have been vacationing here since our kids were little. We love hiking, swimming, kayaking and cycling during the warmer weather and downhill / XC skiing and sledding in the winter.

This property is ideally situated in a spot close to Stowe where you can enjoy all of the four season amenities that are offered but tucked away. You can walk into downtown Morrisville to grab a coffee, a bite to eat, see a movie or to get onto the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (LVRT) and walk or cycle for miles. You are a short drive to the swimming beach at Lake Elmore and to amazing kayaking at Green River Reservoir.
