The Friendly Native condos truly are St Pete’s best kept secret! Nested on Sunset Way, you are far enough off Gulf Blvd to escape the bustle yet still within close walking distance to absolutely everything. Merely a parking lot separates you and world-renowned Upham Beach with it’s brown sugar sands. From shops, restaurants, and beach volleyball to sunset beachfront walks and quaint beach bars, you will love this Jimmy Buffet-style neighborhood. The condo itself is a one bedroom/ one bath, corner unit which is full-equipped and offers easy access to pool and beach. You’ll appreciate the upgraded appliances, TV, and comfortable seating areas not to mention the private balcony for sipping morning coffee. A luxurious, queen bed makes for restful nights while the condo also offers plenty of drawers and hanging spaces for your belongings. With a light and open concept floor plan, you'll be able to enjoy the Florida Sunshine as it streams in through your windows. What’s more, the decor is lovely and features coastal hues throughout which sets the stage perfectly for your best beach vacation yet!

Beach Living:
It’s time to live the beach life! Your beach condo is located just a short walk from renowned St. Pete Beach's strand on the Gulf of Mexico. Recently selected as the country’s top beach destination and heralded for its jaw-dropping sunsets, St Pete Beach makes for an ideal vacation getaway. Only blocks away are boat rentals, para-sailing, stand up paddle boards, fishing, dolphin watch cruises, jet skis, kayaks and almost any watersport imaginable.

Dining:
Recommended local dining includes Jimmy B’s Beach Bar and Bistro which features free sunset shooters and live music - every night. Also try Buoy’s waterfront dining, 1200 Chop House, or Solo Bistro. All are accessible on foot or by bike.

Stroll to historic Corey Ave where you will find specialty shops, dog groomers, dining all day and into the evening as well as a fresh market on Sundays. Or hop a trolley into downtown St. Petersburg, peruse the Salvador Dali Museum of Fine Arts, and take in a Broadway play at the Mahaffey Theater of Performing Arts. Overall the property is in an excellent spot if you want to be close to the beach . Plenty of options to eat and enjoy some great music. The only thing I noticed is that my husband was in Tampa prior for business and the place stated there was laundry facilities and that was one of the reasons I chose this place. There is no laundry facilities in the condo but there was plenty of places to drive to . I feel this was a misleading statement. All in all I would definitely recommend this condo to stay at if you want to be close to the beach.

The Unit was clean, appropriately furnished, and a very short walk to the Beach! The Unit was within walking distance of several restaurants, bars, and shops. I would recommend this Unit to Family and Friends.

Clean condo

This unit is very clean - even the floors are clean! Bed is comfortable and adjustable. It has a wardrobe for hanging clothing (these units lack a closet in the bedroom). The downside - the unit feels more like a studio instead of a one bedroom due to a wall being replaced with glass doors (you can close the doors, and there are curtains). No dishwasher, or filtered water or ice maker in the fridge (a brita water pitcher would be a nice addition). Take trash bags as the kitchen trash can is too small and it will be full in less than a day. I wish they had onsite laundry like gulf winds did. Pool is so nice, but they allow all types of floating rafts etc, so it can be annoying if there are a lot of them in the pool. There are things I would change, but because it was so clean, I would stay again. Can’t beat the price or proximity to the beach.

Perfect for us

This property is just perfect for a couple getting away for a beach vacation. This was our 2nd year staying in this property and hopefully we will be back next year! The location is perfect- steps away from the beach, restaurants and activities. Additional items that make your trip comfortable are included- we had access to an additional cooler, towels and a beach buggy that was fantastic. The pool is nice… I just cannot say enough about how much we love it.

Summer trip

The location is amazing!... but the place needs updating of kitchen. Way too many knick-knacks and not any daily necessities!.. ( no spices, tp, paper towels, or a normal size kitchen garbage & no bags-- u will have to shop..no chairs for balcony, uneeded desk, need another dresser...bed/ mattress is awesome tho! & again, perfect location!... also, TURN OFF POOL HEAT!! its like a hot tub!.. not refreshing..AND MANAGEMENT OF UNIT US HIRRIBLE!... GOOD LUCK!

Had a wedding in St Pete, so we made a week out of it.

The one bedroom condo was perfect for me and wife. The place was cute and comfy…felt like home, but right next to the beach! Walking distance to several nice restaurants and bars!

Comfortable stay

Loved the condo. Steps from beach and heated pool. Owner quick to respond to questions and requests. Sand chairs provided were not good for 2 seniors, new full size chairs provided within hours. Would definitely stay again.

Cute, Quiet, and Steps to the beach!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at this adorable condo. It was just a parking lot away from the beach entrance and the pool was heated nicely. We enjoyed the white powdery beaches and being able to walk and ride our bikes to several restaurants and shops. We are already booked for next year!

Location Is Everything

Literally steps from the beach. Condo small but nicely decorated with sufficient amenities. In need of better beach gear. Outside building dated and in need of sprucing up but pool well maintained and heated. Owner very responsive. Parking spot included.

Great location

Building is old and could use a facelift on the outside but our unit was just as represented, clean, and efficient. Overall great stay. There are no beach views but is right across the street

1st time at St. Pete Beach

After a couple of days to unwind we were able to appreciate many things about our stay. The building is very old and in need of some maintenance including landscaping. Upon arrival we were concerned. Our interior unit was just as depicted on the app and charming. A few too many nick knack items in such a small space but overall very clean and enjoyable. The pool area which is where we had to enter and exit could also use some TLC and atmosphere.

It is the perfect place for a couple wanting to get away. We loved it. Small but has everything you need. Very clean. Very nice. Perfect location to all the local beach restaurants and activities. We stayed 10 days and would have stayed longer. Just loved it. Would say again.

Perfect little beachside getaway!

Everything about this cozy little space worked perfectly for my solo getaway! The unit had everything that I needed and more. It would have been perfect for a couple, too. Nothing was overlooked. It was clean, corner unit right beside the Gulf and I could see the water from my windows. The check-in process was very smooth, no issues whatsoever, and the property manager was always available for any questions with very quick response times. (I even met her personally and looked at units for sale in the area as she is a realtor.) The property itself is definitely for travelers as the units were always changing over to new people, but there was no problem with noise or anything. I felt quite safe and right at home in this unit. I would definitely stay there again - the location is just perfect.
