Belknap Guest House-One block from historic downtown square in Jacksboro, Texas

Comfortable home located one block from the Jacksboro square. Walking distance to historic Jack County courthouse and local dining, including JR's Chophouse, Neri's, and Casa Grande Mexican Grill. One mile from Faith Community Hospital, Jacksboro schools, Jacksboro lake and ballpark, and Fort Richardson State Park.

House includes full kitchen, laundry facilities, two living areas, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The property also includes outdoor living with a fully furnished patio.
House can be rented as one unit or two, depending on number of guests.

A minimum of $300.00 will be accessed for smoking or pets on this property. In addition, this property is not set up for crew lodging. If you are in the construction business please let us know as we may have other sites available which will better suit your needs. House Rules prevail.

The Belknap Guest House is also available for small luncheons or small showers. Contact host for details.

Family Visit

This has become our go-to place in Jacksboro when visiting family and friends. It is well appointed, comfy and very clean. We will be back!

Wonderful family you get together in a beautiful space

The house was very lovely just as it appeared in the ad. Five-stars on cleanliness. The host was very accommodating. Many thoughtful personal touches. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would stay again if the occasion arose.

The house was beautiful and 5 minute walk to great selection of restaurants. We only had a short stay but it was everything we needed and more. Host Anna communicated with me in advance so no delay in checking in. We will definately stay here again.

The Belknap House

So happy to know about this rental. It’s prefect for our family when we are all together. Quiet, clean, and comfortable! Very nicely decorated to make it feel like home. It belonged to my husbands cousins years ago so it’s full of memories for us!

Kathryn, how special to know that little detail! Many years went by and as kids moved off and elders passed on, it became neglected and abused. Perfect Rental on Cute Town Square

We rented this property for a last minute trip to visit family. Anna was a dream to work with and is very responsive and helpful. The property was exactly as pictured - so charming and very well stocked. In addition, it is around the corner from the town square (good for a morning stroll to get a coffee and donut). There was ample parking and a great sitting porch. The rental is spacious and would be great for a family. We were extremely pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this rental.

The house was beautiful. Filled with antiques. Anna provided everything that I would need at my own home. Anna is a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed. I would say she went above and beyond!!! I highly recommend this home. I rate my experience A

What a Jewell

This is my go to spot when staying in Jacksboro, it's truly like coming home. Anna is so accommodating and friendly. She has gone to great lengths to make this property comfy and cozy, with so many cool added touches. It's in a perfect location, super quiet and plenty of space. If you stay anywhere besides here you are truly missing out.

Outstanding little gem in Jacksboro!

Entry sitting room very warm and cozy. Second gathering area was a personal favorite; spacious, airy and bright! Loved the all-white sofa with cushy, plumped pillows. Stunning, earthy green arrangement on mantle. Thoughtful touches everywhere. My husband's comment: The cleanest place in which I've ever stayed.

Cozy home

This was the perfect home for our family's needs. Went down for a wedding and needed a space that was close to friends and family. The house was better than the pictures, so clean and open. The host left goodies in the fridge for us that were a nice surprise. Everything you could possibly need is provided for you and the neighbors are super nice.

Family Easter trip

We went to visit family and needed a little separation between family activities. We rented this home so we could have space and privacy at night. It is even cuter than the pictures. The host left eggs, bacon and biscuits in the refrigerator for our use. Such a nice gesture.

This is a jewel in the heart of Jacksboro!

This was a repeat visit to Jacksboro. Anna was very gracious and communicated in a very timely fashion. Cozy, clean, quiet and very very clean!! She check on us daily. In one year updates on properties were very noticeable and nice. Easy in, easy out. A person can’t to wrong by choosing the property. A+ all the way around! Thanks Anna👍😊

Going home

Where do I begin, I never even thought about Jacksboro having a vacation rental, this property was simply amazing and exceeded our expectations. It's within walking distance of the town square, shops and restaurants. We felt at home the second we arrived, I haven't ever felt so at home away from home before. The extra touches that Anna has in the house were well thought out, from the decor to the furnishings to the extras. My husband enjoyed the patio area, while having his coffee each morning and in the evening. Anna was above and beyond the role of hostess, she was very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay, she had eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits in the fridge and even coffee and condiments for our use. She was very sweet and a pleasure to visit with. I will not hesitate to book here again and have told everyone I know what a wonderful home it is. Thank you so much Anna for the best stay I've had.

Overbearing host

The house is beautiful, has everything you need, and spotless. Lots of care and attention have gone into this property. I stayed for 3 nights with my mom, girlfriend, and daughter. The host appeared very uneasy with us staying there. I never received the door code which she said she would e-mail. When I called her to get the code I got to hear a lecture on the property rules before I could get a code. She told me she watches the security cameras and that weirded me out. Security is 👍…Making people feel unwelcome 👎. The next day she showed up at the house unannounced which was strange to me. That evening I used the rumba vacuum that was sitting out in the living room. She began messaging me at 10pm because I used the vacuum threatening that I would not get my security deposit. Apparently her vacuum has a sensor on it. At the end of the day I didn’t throw a party, I didn’t break anything and the property is beautiful. I own a rental myself, it’s not fun when people damage your stuff. How the host treated us as paying guests was not cool.

As always, there are two sides to every story. As a host, guest forgot to mention a few details not in his favor. However, I will say the house was left very clean, house rules were followed, and that the Roomba is for Host usage only. Quite an inconvenience for me but Roomba will now be removed for future bookings. Guest forgot to also state that at 12:23 at night an apparent drunk friend came banging on the back door and shouting in the neighborhood. There again, we are thankful we have security cameras. Of course we are very sorry this guest did not have a good experience. Some guests are just better suited for hotels.
