Our cottage is located in the small village of Cap D'Atrutx near (about 8km) from Ciutadella on the southwest coast of Menorca. The house is located on a quiet street (dead end), which is mostly lined with villas and cottages.

Cap d'Artrutx is a small village on the south-west coast of Menorca, consisting mainly of villas and holiday homes. The village is about 8 kilometers from Ciutadella (8 minutes by car).

Hike: You can continue on the coast from Cap d'Artrutx to Cala'n Bosch or in the opposite direction to Cala Blanca. On a clear day you can see the northern hills of Mallorca. (See Section 11 of the Camí de Cavalls.) By bike: There is a well-maintained bike path south to Cala'n Bosch and also north to Ciutadella. Bus connections: Public buses run between Ciutadella and Cala'n Bosch, stopping at Cap d'Artrutx.

On foot, in about 1.3km, you can reach the area of Cap d'Artrutx and the buzz of Cala'n Bosch as well as supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the promenade by the sea.
With a short walk you can reach the famous lighthouse with bar and restaurant (a sunset there will be remembered forever). The nearest sandy beach (and near water park) is about 1.3 km away. The most beautiful beaches of the island (Cala en Turqueta, Son Saura or Macarella) can be reached quickly by car or water taxi. Supermarket, bar and restaurants 400 m away. More restaurants and shopping in Calan Bosch and Son Xoriguere. Ciutadella 8 km, Mahon (airport) 52 km.
