We had a little glitch with the air conditioning the first night which Cheryl took care of quickly and reimbursed me for the night which I was very happy about. We loved our stay there. It was very peaceful and the house was clean. We also loved the use of the side by side which was very handy to have !!We will definitely stay again !!

Very quiet and private place

Private and quiet place. Perfect place to bring my two little dogs. Took a nice walk everyday with them. When I did see people, they were very kind.

Family reunion nearby

We enjoyed our stay at this location just a few minutes from downtown Camdenton. We were in town for a family reunion and this was a great base camp as we ran back and forth to my Aunts house. The house is very comfortable with lots of space. We did not have time to go to the dock but would definitely take advantage of that feature if we stay again. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay

We chose this location due to proximity to our family's condo nearby and needed more space. It was quiet (minus the late night fireworks, but heck, it was fourth of July). Having the dock was really nice, we were able to tie up my parents boat and swim off the dock a few times. Plenty of space and two bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay. Would stay again for sure.

Reasonably priced

We enjoyed it. LOTS of stuff supplied (condiments, seasonings etc. Our dogs were welcome and happy. We’ll stay there again. Not an elegant getaway but a good deal for the price.

Peaceful by the lake

Easy and enjoyable. The dock was wonderful to hang at with a space for our boat too! Cheryl even checked in by phone to make sure we had everything we needed the first day. Wonderful time!

Family Getaway

Love this place! Quiet and off the beaten path with a side by side to ride down to the dock. Nice large dock and new swim ladder. Always relaxing as this is our 3rd year in a row taking a Summer break with our family. We will be back next year! Take extra toilet paper and paper towels. Also recommend a bug zapper...it is the lake!

House was great location for shootout races nice clean house tucked in the woods. We had a great time. This house doesnt have a lake view but it does have a side by side you can take down to boat dock. We were very thankful for that as the walk down to dock and back is very steep and alot of loose rock.

Stay for an OUPV Course - Felt like home

My husband was taking a week long OUPV course in Osage beach, so I came along and we brought our dog with us. The house was absolutely perfect! Clean and well stocked with amenities. The design provided a perfect separate area for my husband to work on his course. It is also a beautiful area for walks. I only wish we were down there when it was warmer - the boat dock was so inviting, but not the temperature. We will definitely keep this place saved for when we head this direction again.

Tranquility in the Ozarks

This is our second stay at this location. We love the peaceful environment and the side by side provided to drive to the dock. Dock has plenty of room for swimming and relaxing. There's a diving board and picnic table with chairs. Our dog loves going here and we love that this is a pet friendly place. 2 living rooms, 2 bedrooms, and extra sleeping spaces in both living rooms. Same as last time, the twin beds in the living room would be good for kids but would not recommend for an adult. Couches are comfy! Host is very responsive and resolves any questions quickly. We will see you next year cabin in the ozarks!

Great getaway

I loved this property! It was so lovely. It had everything that we needed. Cheryl put a lot of thought into what her guest would need. Everything was easy to find. This was the first time I had been to the Ozarks and booked with VRBO. I enjoyed it. The location was great. It was wooded and private. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook with. There were plenty of towels and essentials. Very clean! When I come back, I will try to reserve this home again. Comfy couch and nice TV as well. Thank you for a great vacation stay!

Quiet, beautiful location!

We've vacationed at Lake of the Ozarks for 10+ years, and this is the farthest south we've stayed. I LOVED the location and the house. The floor plan was perfect for family togetherness as well as privacy. There were hardly any other homes or people close to us, so taking the dogs out was easy and fun. The ATV was perfect for getting to the dock, and the diving board and picnic table on the dock were big hits with the boys. We put our boat in at the Linn Creek ramp at the end of the cove. We also visited that ramp with the dogs a few times that week for them to have easy enter/exit with swimming since they have trouble getting back up on the docks. We visited the Cave, Fish Company, Larry's on the Lake, Paradise, and Redheads. The shrimp tacos at the Cave are fantastic!

Escape from real life! Fun place to stay!

We enjoyed our time there. Boat house with the utv to get there was a nice feature! I brought a 21ft bass boat and it fit on the boat lift perfectly. It was a little tough to maneuver the truck and trailer on the property to park but we managed. I put 4 stars on check in process and location because vrbo link directions got us lost by sending us to a different address, really hard to turn around with a boat on the one lane road it sent us on, use the one listed so just type in address given into Google maps and it goes right to it. Also I had to contact owner for door code I never got one through vrbo in my welcome email. Thank you Cheryl! We will definitely do it again!

The actual living areas of this house were nice. However, the bedrooms are small, not much room on either side of the beds. Only one had a dresser and then we only had access to three drawers in it. Bed in the first bedroom was awful, super noisy every time you moved, and the attached shelves have no drawers and are tilted, so things don't stay on it. The first bathroom is extremely small (knees basically hitting the cabinets while sitting on toilet). Jetted tub has high sides, making it difficult to get in and out. The master bedroom was bigger but the en-suite bathroom was arranged weird. It would have been nice size IF the washing machine and dryer, weren't put in there. With them there, you had the same situation as with the first bathroom, with knees practically touching the machine when sitting on the toilet. It's so close that when you stand in from of the toilet to take the clothes out of the dryer, you have to duck to open the door of the dryer, or you'll smack yourself in the face with it. The shower was on the smaller side which wouldn't be an issue, except it has a seat in it. If you already have a small shower, there's not really room to have a seat there. It was also very clear that the "cleaner" doesn't know how to clean. Dead bugs all over the walls, shower fixtures, drain, soap dispenser, faucets etc all dirty. Host communication was great.

The bedrooms and bathrooms look like the pictures. Think 1950’s small. . Did you take the side by side down to the dock?
