3BR/2BA Bright Beach Home w/NEW MATTRESSES sleeps 6 & can fit 4 vehicles! Peek-a-boo ocean view from LARGE 2nd level back deck with beautiful open front marsh view from second level porch!
Short walk to BEACH ACCESS and close to your favorite Surf City day or nightlife activities, rentals, and restaurants.
Fully furnished with all you need in the kitchen, linens, and towels. Lower storage includes two bikes, several boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler, kids beach toys, folding wagon, and more!

Recently upgraded guest bathroom, new screens, new front door, stringed lights added to back deck, additional TV added (in master bedroom), and more.

PET RULES: 1. Two pets (only dogs or cats) are permitted so long as each is 50 lbs or
less.
2. These dogs or cats must be housebroken, flea-free, and 1 year or older.
3. Please pick up after your pet when it/they go to the bathroom outside.
4. No pets on the couch or beds.
5. Pets must be crated if left unattended at the property.
6. If any furniture, or the property in general, is damaged, guests will be
charged accordingly with an invoice from a repairman.
7. We want you and your pets to have the best stay! :)
Lastly, the outdoor shower is winterized (unusable) from November to March.

House needs to be updated. Everything was just beat up. Sadly, i get that renters abuse property but putting a little of that rent revenue back in the property would go a long way. Not a very comfortable place to stay. Living room furniture only has a worn out sectional, needs more seating. Surprised there was not a dishwasher but not a deal breaker, should mention though. Your pic shows a basic coffee maker but you actually have a keureg, so we had to make a late nite run to a food lion for pods. We love old "rustic" properties, have rented many, this property was just run down. Needs some love

We recently stayed at this VRBO on Topsail for two nights. The hosts were great with communication, which we really appreciated, and the deck and railings appear to have been updated recently. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations.The photos of the property are somewhat misleading, as the interior shows considerable wear and tear. The home definitely fits more of a “budget stay” description. Several areas inside the house need attention—floors feel uneven and spongy in places, and the beds are not sturdy, with one headboard not even attached. The mattresses were also uncomfortable.The bathrooms in particular need maintenance. In the master bath, both the shower and sink have been painted with what appears to be refinishing paint, but it’s peeling and delaminating. The guest shower only had warm water, not hot.If you’re looking for a rustic beach-vibe stay and are comfortable with a more worn-in, budget-friendly property, this place might still work for you. However, for travelers expecting the condition shown in the listing photos or seeking a more polished, comfortable experience, this rental may be disappointing.

Nolan has thought of everything you could need and we didn't have to run out for staples like paper towels, TP, soap, detergent etc. he had these and all other household basics plus extras there: fans, baby gates, all the items on the listing were there and worked. We checked to see if the bikes had survived the rental crowd over the summer and he made sure they were in good shape before we arrived. This was so fun! Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. Also great was all the beach stuff: wagon, umbrellas, boogie boards, cooler-- saved space in our car and must haves at the beach! You don't have to walk far at all to the beach, and it's a nice flat sandy beach with houses, no high rises. Love being in a little neighborhood of houses and you're only a mile from shops and the pier. The sunsets on the back deck over the sound are lovely. It's on a busy road but it's not fast traffic and you can't hear the cars inside. Furniture inside the house is in excellent shape -- beds are solid, mattresses clean and solid/soft, pillows pristine and all the bedding in new condition. Sectional sofa looks/feels new and is super comfy! Streaming/TV is great! Wifi works great and my kids kept up with online college courses while there. Thick fluffy towels all provided, (beach and bath). Outdoor shower in great shape. Hot water heater kept up with our family and we have 4 girls! Felt like a safe, good neighborhood, and Nolan was easy to communicate with and so helpful!

This was the perfect little beach house for our trip. It is so close to the ocean and was so easy for us to just walk over whenever we wanted to go to the beach. The patios were really nice to sit out on too!

Superior communication with hosts, excellent proximity to public beach access and gorgeous views of the Intracoastal waterway. Rocking chairs at sunset were the cherry on top!!

We just finished our stay and overall had a great vacation! I am going to write a very honest and detailed review because I look for those myself when booking houses. If I were rating the house itself I would give it 3 stars but due to the location I am giving it 4.Pros:Super close to beach- 1.5 block walk- the BEST part about this rental! Owners provided great communication prior to our stay and after (we did not complain about anything so they did not need to respond during our stay)AC works well (not the case for many beach rentals)Large covered porch (although wish this was on the ocean side of the house)Rocking chairs on porch Deck isn’t wood- no splintersMaster bed has pillow top and is comfortable (a Queen- no room for a King)Did not hear the main road (we use sound machines)House clean upon arrival Beach toys/floats/boogie boards for our use Cons:No dishwasherNo dog crates or gates so dogs can’t come on decks without using chairs to block Very little counter space or cabinet space to store items we brought No extra sheets anywhere and only 2 extra blanketsFloor spots soft in many places due to water damage Glass door broken making it bang repeatedly with the windNo fenced in yard or pool VERY small house Nowhere to hang wet items without them blowing away No TVs in bedrooms- we resorted to watching tv on our phones in bed which was a bummerHammock is broken- can’t sit in itShower heads very short- had to duck to shower Thanks!

Very good location, easy walk to the beach. Photos exaggerate the size, it is quite small for a 3 bedroom. Needs updates including but not limited to ceiling fans. Not worth what we paid.

This beautiful beach house was perfect for myself and several friends. The location was incredible, with the beach being just about a 5 minute walk away and several restaurants within walking distance as well. The property had everything you could need for a day at the beach or time relaxing inside. The porch had an incredible view and was perfect for relaxing outside. This is the perfect place for a calm beach getaway.

Great First Family Trip to the Beach

We had a wonderful time at Dana Point for our first family trip to the beach as a family of 4. The location could not have been more convenient and the house offered us everything that we needed.

Five stars for cleanliness and being stocked - No stars for busy road

The house was nice, clean and well stocked with linens, towels, cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper. Grill was rusted and bikes were in bad shape - not safe to ride. Even though the house was a short walk to the beach it was on a very busy - loud road. Host was quick to respond.

Cute house! So close to the beach!

We had a great trip! The only thing to consider is if you have anyone staying or visiting that may be physically handicapped (and we did), be prepared to carry them up and down the staircase to get inside. There are no ramps or anything like that. to get inside and out.

Quaint Beach House

There is a hammock on the ground level beneath the back deck for lounging and covered in shade to make it a relaxing environment. The front deck provides a view of the intracoastal waterway, and the back deck provides a view of the beach and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. There is nothing more calming than hearing the ocean waves break on shore.
