Longview offers 5 spacious bedrooms, a sleeping loft, and 3 full baths for up to 16 guests and is perfect for families, groups, and retreats.

Conveniently located in Rockbridge, 3 minutes off SR33, with easy access to attractions throughout the Hocking Hills area. Within a few minutes drive pop into town for ice cream and shopping, stop by local Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries for a flight, or park at the nearby Lake Logan or trailheads for hiking at Cantwell Cliffs and Hocking Hills State Park.

-- Lodge is equipped with wifi but please be aware speed is slower so may be difficult to stream movies + games.
-- Ring Security cameras are mounted on the front exterior of the lodge to monitor the parking area. There are no cameras inside the lodge.

Everything was as advertised, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The family room had plenty of comfortable seating and the game room was awesome! The kitchen does lack a little in the pots and skillet area and I feel like the hot tub wasnā€™t as clean as it could have been. Unsure if the filter needs changed or what it gets treated with but the water didnā€™t smell clean. But all in all the lodge was a nice place for our families to get together for our long weekend Christmas celebration!

The host was excellent in answering my questions quickly. The cabin was gorgeous inside and out. All nice size bedrooms. We all loved the bathrobes which are something rarely provided. Especially using to and from the hot tub. There was a good amount of parking.

Everything was great, except for the 4 guests that had to use the single beds. A lack of privacy when changing and using the upstairs bathroom. I would recommend again.

My family and I were satisfied with our stay, there were a few things that werenā€™t quite right but I believe that if they were taken care of weā€™d absolutely stay again. We didnā€™t get to use the hot tub because it wasnā€™t clean and it smelled bad, like old stagnant water. I didnā€™t check the grill because I donā€™t like grilling with propane. A few of my family members decided to grill and we realized the propane tank was empty, so check it on arrival. The host definitely respond if you reach out but my signal was wonky so I received delayed messages. The property is beautiful and clean, we had a great time and outside of not being able to use the hot tub everything was great.

My family and I had a great time! We enjoyed the house , hot tub and made use of the fire ring ! It was close to all of our activities and stores , yet still felt we were on vaction! We loved it! Will be returning!

Nice cabin in a quite location

This was a nice cabin for our extended family of 12. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cook ware and thank goodness the air conditioning worked well as we were there during a heat wave. Everything was as expected. Cabins have squeaky floors and this one did as well. People sleeping in basement found it a little hard to sleep with people walking overhead.

Family fun!

Our family of 9 adults and 5 grandkids had a fun and relaxing long weekend at this great VRBO! We fished, went to a couple local hiking trails, a petting zoo, relaxed in the hot tub, sat around the fire and roasted s'mores, enjoyed chatting while sitting on the swings on the wraparound porch. We loved our stay and would definitely reserve this VRBO again. Thank you!

Fantastic Girls Weekend!

This was a perfect place to stay! We had 15 women (ages 23-30) in our group. There was enough space for us as long as people shared beds, which we were comfortable with. The indoor dining was a little small for all of us, but we werenā€™t able to use the outdoor dining space due to weather. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes, though we ran out of spoons a few times. We did run out of paper towels and TP, so I recommend bringing some!The place was clean and well-kept. Decor is cute! Communication with the owners was easy. Great place!

5 Star Stay

0 complaints and a 5 star stay all around. Very helpful and detailed check-in, check-out info provided in a timely manner. Great communication with the hosts. Lodge matched the listing to a t. Very clean and well kept, and was happily surprised to see how well it was stocked with necessities out of the gate (soaps, coffee filters, spices, utensils, other kitchen needs). Awesome space inside and out and our entire extended weekend stay was a blast. I was very worried about parking, as I saw some mentions in reviews before bookingā€¦ we had a group of 10 with everyone driving individually. 0 issues with parking. There was plenty. If someone had issues parking cars, thatā€™s entirely on them and not reflective of the space.

Not exactly luxury

Overall, an "OK" property. The cabin is in fair/decent condition but far from the luxurious retreat described in the listing. If being secluded is important, this might not be the best choice. It's very close to a populated road, and there is a nearby dog that barked for 12 hours straight throughout the night every night of our stay. The photos online make the place appear much bigger than it seemed in-person. The bedroom space is adequate but the common spaces/kitchen are too small for the amount of bedrooms.

Hocking hills fall trip

The house was nice overall! Loved the amount of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. Plenty of space. There was a major leak in master bedroom coming through both windows before we arrived and upon check in the floors were soaked, along with the bed and the light was left unplugged. The owners were extremely responsive and sent a maintenance person out the next morning, but he didnā€™t appear to do/ fix anything. The beds were comfortable otherwise. We did cook breakfast during our stay and the pots were not clean, nor were they easy to cook with because everything stuck to the bottom of the pans. We appreciated the variety of kitchen utensils available, as well as the appliances. The tv remotes were missing batteries and we unfortunately didnā€™t pack any because we didnā€™t think we needed them, which was disappointing because we couldnā€™t use the tv in two rooms at all. The tv in the basement was a smart tv, so we could stream the football game through our account however the tv upstairs was not, which meant we couldnā€™t watch a big Ohio state game upstairs which wouldā€™ve been more convenient while we cooked/ate. Lastly we were shocked by the tight parking available for the amount of people that can stay there. We had only 3 vehicles, but I think it wouldā€™ve been hard to park any more than that in the driveway. Would recommend sharing restaurant recommendations for guests. We ate @ a local golf course Friday night which wasnā€™t very good. Would stay again if we ever visit the area again!

Cozy cottage

Our family of16 had an excellent stay. As soon as you walked through the door the house felt so cozy. This house had everything we needed, so very clean. Our host responded back to one of our questions within 5min. Thank you we had a great time, hiked and visited a lot of local attractions. Couldn't see everything on the trip we will definitely stay here again our family is already planning our next stay here!!!

Fantastic Weekend with friends

We stayed here with a group of our friends and really enjoyed hanging around the fire pit, using the pool table, arcade machine, and the hot tub! We loved getting our own robe that was on each bed at check in. There is a great outdoor patio space for meals and morning coffee as well as a bench by the pond that was a good space for intentional talks with friends. The check in process was easy and the check out work was minimal! Will definitely be staying here again!
