This sunny, comfortable, well maintained home is located on 10 private wooded acres between Stratton and Mount Snow (about 6 miles from each resort) in a quiet area. Ideal for a family or two, or mature group of adults. Features spacious open living room and dining room, high ceilings, large windows, large fireplace, Chef's kitchen, outdoor hot tub, gas grill, mud room, loft with Smart TV/ DVD, game room with pool table, / DVD Smart TV, and futon couch / beds.
Bedrooms: (MBR - queen bed / BR2 -King bed / BR3 -Double bed/ BR4 -Double Bed)

Close to Hiking (Appalachian Trail) , Grout Pond, golf and mountain biking at Stratton or Mount Snow. House comfortably sleeps 8 in its 4 bedrooms. 2 additional futons in playroom are great for kids.

Holiday get away

The house is beautiful and in a perfect location! Away from the crowds of the mountain but only minutes away. It was clean and everything was easily accessible. Plenty of space, and coming back from the mountain to a cozy fireplace was key! The spa was also wonderful and inviting! A great place to stay with family and friends!

Holiday ski trip

We rented this house for a couple of das around New Yearā€™s Day for a family ski trip. The house was very clean and the kitchen was great. There is a great fire place on the first floor to hang out around at night.

Great ski house

The check in process was very smooth. The property itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the benefit of a hot tub and game room. Despite being a little far from restaurants and the mountains, it was a great place to spend a ski vacation! Felt like we really got away!

Great Ski House

The house was wonderful. It is close to both Stratton and Mt Snow. Due to weather, we had a few unplanned days in the house. It was wonderful to have the fireplace, hot tub and pool table. Great place to stay!

Great house near Mt Snow

We had a great stay at this beautiful house over MLK weekend! We were a group of 8 adults (4 couples) and were all very comfortable. The house is very well equipped: 3 full bathrooms is a real luxury, the kitchen and dining room are more than large enough to have a nice group or family dinner, and we enjoyed our winter evenings in the hot tub and by the fire place. House is in a very calm secluded area and is about 10-15ā€™ drive from Mt Snow. Highly recommend!

Vermont Weekend Get Away

We had a group of 10 adults at Mickey's place for Presidents Weekend and we had an amazing time!! The property was just as described, beautiful. The hot tub and pool table were a hit and the house had a great open layout, which made socializing and game playing convenient. Everything was also clean and well organized and clear to use. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we were able to cook and have a big family dinner.

Awesome house and beautiful property

This Vermont home exceeded our expectations. Nestled between two skiing resorts make it an ideal vacation spot. From the moment we walked in we knew we were in for a great stay. We were welcomed to a load of cut wood to enjoy the huge fireplace along with the fabulous bubbling hot tub on the patio. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities you would need. The layout of the home allowed for wonderful family gatherings or an escape to some private pause. The home owner was attentive and was quick to respond at any moment. Beautiful ski house close to skiing - highly recommended!

Our group of nine stayed at this property for a long weekend. The space was beautiful and warm, and they had everything we needed and wanted! The house was perfect for entertaining with a pool table downstairs, board games, an in-ground hot tub, and outdoor grill. Not to mention the amazing fireplace! The kitchen was also nicely supplied with essentials. Most importantly, the owner was responsive, kind, and helpful with maneuvering some hiccups we had before, during, and after the trip. Highly recommended -- we are looking forward to staying here again!

Wonderful ski home close to skiing

Charming home, not typical rental property, made this getaway extra special. There were six of us (could have been eight comfortably) and the home layout and appointments were perfect for gathering after a long day of skiing. One of us stayed home during the day and enjoyed the fabulous fireplace with a plentiful stack of wood, and coziness of the place. Kitchen was perfectly supplied with everything you need to make a delicious meal. Dining table easily sits a large group. The large basement with awesome pool table and the outdoor hot tub added extra fun to the experience. Beds were average comfort. Bathrooms really nice and clean. Plenty of towels. Would rent this home again.

Stayed with a group of seven. Everything we were hoping for - plenty of space, great kitchen, large hot tub. Easy drive to Stratton or Mt. Snow. Owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. Will definitely consider staying again!

Great ski house!

The house is even nicer in person than it looks in the vrbo pictures! We had a wonderful stay with two families including young children. Mickey (the owner) was extremely responsive and helpful. Great location for access to Stratton and Mt. Snow. We would certainly go back again.

Beautiful Home!

Two families ( 9 adults ) spent 4 nights at this house the week of Christmas . The house was beautiful and accommodated our group perfectly . The kitchen was perfect for cooking the Holiday meals we had planned . The open concept living area provided a perfect atmosphere for enjoying a fire , playing cards and games and listening to music . The location was ideal for hiking , skiing and shopping in Manchester . Firewood was plentiful and the owner and groundskeeper were pleasant and responsive . We enjoyed the hot tub and our college aged kids loved playing pool and gathering in the lower level . We will definitely return !

Beautiful house, perfect location.

My husband and I and our son and his fiancee spend MLK weekend at the this house. Our son snowboards and he absolutely loved the proximity to Sun Bowl, which gave him access to all the runs with none of the traffic. The rest of us hung around and enjoyed the gorgeous fireplace and the hot tub. This house has a great kitchen to cook in and really has space and privacy for everyone and every thing. Mickey (homeowner) was accessible and responsive and the caretaker Jim was on top of everything. Highly recommend this house!

Great place!!!!

We stayed there for a long weekend with 3 other couples and the place was very comfortable. Plenty of room and the house was stocked with everything you would possibly need. Loved the fireplace and hot tub. Firewood was provided and there was plenty of it as we had a fire everyday we were there. The owner was very friendly to work with. Location is close to Stratton. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Vermont vacation home

Four couples rented the house for a quiet Vermont vacation. It was a great choice! The setting is very private yet very accessible to all area attractions. It was very clean and was loaded with many nice features including a pool table and hot tub. We would absolutely recommend the house.

We had such a relaxing, enjoyable stay at this house! The house is even more cozy and inviting than the pictures depict. It was so clean and all the bathrooms had a nice supply of clean towels. Beds were all extremely comfy! The owner gave us easy directions to the Sun Bowl at Stratton Mountain, so we didn't have to deal with the crowds at the base lodge. This house is in a great location because it is close to Stratton Mountain as well as Mt. Snow. It's also close enough to the town of West Dover that my sister and I, who don't ski, were able to check out some shops, restaurants and markets while the family skied. In the evenings, we had family game night thanks to the great supply of games in the house. The owners had an ample supply of firewood available, so we had a cozy fire every night. What a great kitchen! All the conveniences of home, and the outdoor hot tub was so relaxing. In the upstairs loft of this house, there was a nice selection of family movies to choose from, again allowing us another rare night of quality family time. That's what we loved about this house -- it was so warm and inviting that our kids loved hanging out with us. And the 2 futons in the game room gave our teens extra room to spread out and sleep at night. Very spacious, quiet and relaxing. I would highly recommend this lovely house to anybody planning a ski trip or just a quiet weekend away!

MLK weekend with friends

Spent MLK weekend at this house with friends celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. The house was great! It was large enough to sleep 8 comfortably and we could have fit a few more. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils and the living room is really cozy. The fireplace and hot-tub were both great. Only 10 minutes to Sun Bowl, which was much less crowded than the main base. Highly recommend it!

Winter Wonderland

We had a great snowy ski/snowboard vacation here! 3 families fit easily into the house and the basement was perfect for the kids to play and sleep in (all 6, aged 4-10). The open plan nature of the house made it comfortable and relaxing for everyone, and we loved that the kids could be near and yet not on top of us!. The amenities (hot tub especially) are wonderful and were enjoyed by all. The kitchen is well appointed and created a warm and buzzy feeling in the house with everyone able to participate and be included. The fireplace made for welcome retreats each evening.. as others have said the little touches are especially nice - ipod docking station, board games, pool table, space outside to run around etc. .

Cozy ski chalet

We had a perfect President's Day weekend of friends, food, and fun in this beautiful home! It was the ideal set up for four couples, plus one baby. We sat by the wonderful fireplace for hours each night, cooked comfortably in the well-stocked kitchen, and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub apres-ski. The owner was responsive and very easy to work with--he even went out of his way to mail back to me a mitten that was left behind. Overall, an excellent rental experience. I hope we will be back next year!

Superior Getaway in a secluded setting!

Our family enjoyed this lovely home for five days this winter. The accomodations are extremely comfortable and impeccably maintained. We especially enjoyed cooking dinner and spending time in the hot tub after skiing all day. Ambiance sitting outside in the hot tub in a private setting is over the top. We would recommend the home to anyone looking for a peaceful and well appointed location. Stratton Mountain did a great job of grooming the trails also!
