Payment Processing & Cancellation Policy Notice

Please note: Because we manage multiple properties, VRBO requires us to use our own payment processor. As a result, all payments for this reservation are processed securely through Stripe, not directly by VRBO.

Your total reservation cost is divided into two payments:

The first payment is processed immediately at the time of booking

The second payment is automatically processed 30 days prior to arrival

If your booking is made within 30 days of arrival, both payments will still be processed on the day of booking.

All charges will appear on your bank or credit card statement as Yellow Door Vacation Rentals.

This payment structure is a requirement established by VRBO for professional vacation rental companies and is not optional.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to non-refundable payment processing fees charged by Stripe, all cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee, regardless of when the reservation is canceled. This fee applies to any and all cancellations.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these payment and cancellation terms.

We only ask that you treat our home as you would your own.

-No smoking (evidence of smoke inside the home or failure to properly dispose of cigarette butts will result in additional charges) Please know there is an immediate $500 fee plus the cost of remediation if there is evidence of smoking of any substance inside the home.
-No parties/events
-Pets are welcome with an $80 non-refundable fee and a 2 dog max. Please do not let pets on the furniture or in the beds. Please pick up after your pet and dispose of waste in the outside trash can. Extra charges will apply for not picking up after your pet.

*Failure to comply with house rules will result in additional charges.

CHECK IN:
Check in time is anytime after 3pm. I will send you a door code a few days prior to your arrival.

PARKING:
The driveway can accommodate up to two cars.



HOUSE RULES:
Please treat our home with the same respect that you do your own.
Please respect a courtesy quiet hour of 9pm for our neighbors.
Only guests who are on the original booking should stay overnight.
This is a non-smoking home. If you do smoke please do so outside and away from the house. Any evidence of smoking of any substance inside the home will result in an immediate $500 fee PLUS the cost of remediation.

Biohazard Cleaning Fee:
For health and safety, a $100 cleaning fee will apply if vomit, fecal matter, blood, or other bodily fluids are documented by the cleaners on floors, bedding, furniture, or in common areas.

Excessive Pet Hair Fee:
While we love hosting furry guests, excessive pet hair that requires additional cleaning beyond our standard turnover will result in a $60 additional cleaning fee. Thank you for helping us keep the home comfortable for everyone! 🐾

CHECK OUT:
Check out time is 10am.

We will take care of cleaning, however we do ask you do the following:
Load any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start them
Place any trash or recycling in the appropriate trash cans outside

We offer a 15-min grace period for late check-outs. After 15 mins, there will be automatic $50 charge for unapproved late check outs.

NOTE: Any damages to the home will result in additional charges.

Lastly, while we have regular and excellent pest control, our climate can provide the conditions for an occasional bug sighting. If you do spot a bug we will send pest control back out as quickly as possible, but please note that we do not provide refunds based on this.
