This stunning 4 bed, 2 bath home is very conveniently located 10 minutes from Rushmore Crossing (Shopping Center & Restaurants), 10 minutes from Hwy 16 if you're heading to any of the Black Hills attractions, and 5 minutes from I-90 if you'd rather head to Deadwood for gambling, or the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Movie Room ~ Not only has a 120" Sectional Couch for movie night and lounging, but also has a large 70" tv with HULU, Disney+ and ESPN+, Samsung 7.1 Soundbar with Dolby 5.1, and a second beautiful electric fireplace.

Coffee Bar ~ Stocked with regular, organic and decaf coffee pods. Folders packs for drip brew, hot chocolate, and a variety of teas. Extras such as electric tea kettle and milk frother. Plus to go cups, creamers and sweeteners for your convenience.

Two King Suites ~ Includes convenient lighting in headboard, USB chargers built into both night stands, 32" tv, remote control fan, and room darkening curtains.

Great place to stay and explore the black hills!!! Host was in great communication and the house has all you need! Our kids loved the bunk beds and movie room! Beds and pillows were comfortable after a long day away visiting all the sites! Lots of space to spread out for extended families wanting to stay together but have some space!

Great base to visit beautiful area

The house seemed brand new and clean. The movie room and outdoor area were very cool. The home is located near small homes and trailers but lots of construction so it seems up and coming area. Walmart is 5 minutes away which was convenient for a grocery pickup.

Rapid City spring trip

Our family enjoyed our short stay will in Rapid City for a Lacrosse Tournament - the cute home was furnished very well. The location was east to find and check in was easy along with checkout. I would stay with our family here again. Great host!!

Family Get Away

The house was very clean and well stocked. The beds, pillows and linens were all very comfortable. We loved the snacks and coffee bar! We had a nice relaxing weekend and enjoyed our stay! Jennifer was very informative and kept us uo to date on our stay!

We had a great experience, our stay was awesome and the house was exactly as described. We come out to rapid at least once a year and we will back if it’s available! Couldn’t recommend more!

Great house for large family

Our family of 9 had a great stay at the Zen Den! The house was very clean and was in a great location about halfway between Custer/Mt. Rushmore and Badlands National Park. Jennifer did a great job communicating with us throughout our stay, and the check out procedures were easy!

Wonderful Location

This property was extremely clean and comfortable. Great space for our kids, and plenty of space for the adults too. The host, Jennifer, was helpful and communicative. The house is centrally located near Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and Badlands National Park. We had an amazing time!

Fabulous Property

We had the best time ever and this property was fantastic!! The house was clean, fun fenced in backyard, and the neighborhood was a dead end so our kids loved riding bikes around and we didnt have to worry about many cars! Jennifer was a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions we had!! We will be back for sure!!

Graduation Stay

My family and I stayed here (6 total) for our middle son’s graduation from SDSM. The house was well appointed with all of the necessities to make the stay very comfortable. The location provides easy access to all the local attractions and restaurants in Rapid City. The owner was easy to work with and quickly solved a low battery issue with the keyless front door even though they don’t live locally. We will definitely stay at the Zen Den again.

The downstairs area was great for watching TV or movies as a group. We enjoyed the picnic table style. Was big and comfortable for everyone. There were plenty of TVs on the property for everyone to be able to watch what ever they wanted somewhere. The kitchen even had a glass electric kettle so could see when the water was boiling for tea. If you like coffee, there is a nice coffee maker. The garage has a nice shoe cubby which makes putting away shoes easier. It is a newer house so everything was in good shape. It is in a housing development so there was still a lot of construction work going on during the week. The streets are the new narrow style so when the neighbors park on the street it is a little tight. The bathrooms drawers were too small for standard travel kits, so won’t be able to put them away. The bedrooms also don’t have enough room for dressers with the sized beds, so don’t plan on putting cloths anywhere than the closet. With that in mind, stays shouldn’t be a problem.

Wonderful Getaway!

We loved our visit to Rapid City and our stay at The Zen Den! The location was close drive to many activities in Keystone, Custer, Spearfish, and Deadwood! Every morning we enjoyed coffee from the coffee bar before starting our day, and in the evening our family enjoyed relaxing in the movie room or out on the private patio with the firepit. Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfy. Such a beautiful, clean home. Great place to stay for our family of 6. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation in the Black Hills

Very clean. The pictures of the property were accurate. Loved the curtains. Would be nice if there was a railing in the garage for the steps going into the house. Two of us have knee and back issues and a railing would have helped
