Looking for a weekend getaway or a work-from-home retreat? Book this cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath vacation cottage tucked behind a hill overlooking the Fox River. Located 40 miles from the city and just 1.25 miles from the Fox River Grove Metra stop, you'll be just minutes from quaint downtown Barrington, Cary, and Crystal Lake.

The fully equipped kitchen offers ample countertop space where you can prepare a home-cooked meal while your travel companions join you. Enjoy the meal at the kitchen table or step outside and eat at our 8 foot dining table while being fully protected from the elements on our covered living space.

After a day exploring the great outdoors or venturing into the city, curl up on the large living room sofa with a good book, or indulge in a quick snooze to refresh and recharge. Log on to the ultra-fast WiFi or watch your favorite movies on the smart TV with our guest Netflix account.

At night, gather around the giant outdoor fire place to roast marshmallows with your family before retiring to the bedroom or couch for a good night's sleep.

Working from home? We have a dedicated workspace equipped with an extra wall-mounted monitor. Just connect with our HDMI cord and you'll be ready for an efficient day of work. On nice days, feel free to setup your laptop on our table outside, as our WiFi range easily covers the patio and we have a power strip dedicated to the space.
