Please be advised that Villa Flor de Cabrera is currently active on the sales market.

We understand that booking a luxury villa is a significant decision, and while it is our expectation that any new buyer would wish to retain the existing rental schedule and honor future bookings, there is a possibility that a change in ownership could impact reservations scheduled after April 30, 2026.

In the event of a sale and the new owner deciding not to honor existing reservations past this date, your booking may be subject to cancellation. Should this unlikely event occur, Luxury Residence Management will provide a full refund of all deposits and payments received, plus an additional 5% courtesy refund on all deposits held, as compensation for the inconvenience.

We feel it is vital that all prospective rental clients are fully aware of the current situation before confirming their booking. We will keep confirmed guests informed immediately of any developments regarding the sale that may affect their reservation

Exceptional!!

Without a doubt, this was one of the best places I have stayed! Even before we arrived the service was second to none. All my questions were answered by either the owner Dan or Wilvia - the most attentive concierge I have ever worked with. She efficiently arranged everything I requested to set up the most amazing 6 days. The Villa, pool and grounds were beautiful and spacious and the incredible staff went out of their way to attend to our every need. We are planning a trip back and will stay even longer!

A perfect group getaway!

26 of us, ranging from 3 to 83, traveled from New England to Villa Flor de Cabrera for a week for a 50th birthday party. We spent two years planning this trip and could not have been happier with the villa, the staff, the location, the food and the attentive service. There were many factors on the website that led us to choose this location, and every one of them was surpassed by the reality. The villa and grounds were lovely; the pool was amazing and was the favorite spot and activity of most of the guests. The staff were uniformly friendly, helpful, and fun. We had several guests with severe food allergies and the chefs and kitchen staff did an excellent job making sure that their food was both safe and delicious. One of these guests commented to me that he never gets to have dessert except at home, but at Flor de Cabrera he had a specially prepared three course meal every night. There were even alternative snacks every day to ensure everybody's enjoyment. Wilvia was a joy to work with both during the preparation period and during our stay. She is engaging, knowledgeable, fun, and very accommodating. It was also a pleasure to see how she interacts with the staff members at the villa - it was very clear that every member of the staff is valued and respected, they all seem to genuinely enjoy working at the villa, which is important for its own sake but also makes for a better guest experience. Wilvia helped us organize several excellent excursions, but honestly, the villa itself was so excellent that we cancelled one excursion to spend the whole day lounging. We took advantage of babysitters close to 15 hours a day and my children loved them. If there are children in your group both you and they will be happier if you hire these amazing young ladies. Be sure to treat yourself to massages on the balcony. Treat yourself to the beach banquet as well. Also be sure to hire the guitar player to play for you during dinner. All of the adult guests agreed that the highlight of the entire trip was eating (delicious, amazing) dinners all of us together in the large foyer with Amaury playing in the background. For external excursions, we particularly enjoyed Dudu lake - the Domincan food they serve for lunch was terrific and the cenotes were great for swimming. Monkey Jungle was also an amazing experience, though you have to be prepared for a long and bumpy bus ride. We did not want our stay to end and we all can't wait to go back someday.

Paradise in Cabrera

Fifteen of our family of friends spent a glorious holiday at Flor de Cabrera to celebrate with us our anniversary. To a person, we loved and adored our time there. Do not hesitate to book this property if you're able. The villa and the staff are first rate. The food is delicious, well-prepared and healthy. The staff accomodated our every need. In our group, no one knew each other except my husband and me. The staff could not believe this, as by day 2 of our stay we were one delightful family having the time of our lives. The staff became a part of this family, as well. A heart-felt thank you to Wilvia, Cindy, Joanna, Elizabeth, Caesar, Adrian and the many others who looked after us each day with great care, concern and love. We miss you all already. We LOVE Flor de Cabrera and everyone there!

A dream destination for our wedding!

We just got back from Flor de Cabrera about a week ago and I'm already planning our next trip back! It was the absolute best location for our destination wedding and our 26 guests. The first glimpse of the property simply took my breath away. I had seen tons of photos and they still don't do the property justice! Wilvia arranged for transportation from the airport to the property so all 28 of us could ride together. It was the perfect start to the party! Speaking of Wilvia, her and the entire staff were absolutely exceptional. They took care of our every need from food, beverages, handling our luggage, turn down service etc. I worked closely with Wilvia to make sure the rehearsal dinner and wedding went off without a hitch. It truly was my dream wedding. My guests were not only thrilled with the property and their rooms, but the food was out of this world! I always have reservations about the food when traveling to resorts but I can say hands down, the chef at Flor de Cabrera put out some of the best food I'd ever had! Every meal was amazing and being able to sit around the long table with all of my guests each night for dinner was a real treat. If you are planning to get married here and won't be seeing the property until you arrive, do not fret! It really is perfect and Wilvia/Ruthie and the staff make the entire experience not only a breeze but also enjoyable. I could go on-and-on about our wonderful experience and wedding at Flor de Cabrera but you really do need to see it to believe it :)

Gay Wedding + Family Reunion

We rented FDC for our wedding (60 guests) along with another villa in Orchid Bay Estates and spent about a year working with Dan, Ruthie, Ray, and Wilvia coordinating all the details. The villa is amazing - the photos don't do it justice (and they have beautiful photos!). The service was wonderful, everyone was polite, friendly, and courteous. It's an amazing home built to entertain large groups and the team at FDC really know how to pamper their guests! The rooms were beautfully appointed, the food was good, and the drinks were made to order! We had the best vacation of our lives plus an incredible wedding experience. Dan and Ruthie take weddings very seriously and Wilvia and Ray were excellent throughout. We will be going back someday - and hopefully having another large reunion to go with it!

Beyond our expectations!

We were looking for a destination to host our wedding. We wanted a place we could have our closest friends and family share time together. We didn’t want anyone to have to “work”, no shopping, cooking, cleaning, planning, thinking, etc. We wanted to create a relaxing fun vacation so we could enjoy our time with our guests and leave all the details up to someone else. We hit the jackpot!!! Choosing Flor de Cabrera was 100% the right choice. We had the wedding and vacation of a lifetime! Flor de Cabrera exceeds our expectations. To start, the villa is unbelievable! Every detail was thought of and the setting is beyond beautiful! The rooms are perfect, the pool is amazing, all the common areas are straight out of a magazine, the dining table was incredible and accommodated our entire party, and the game room/theater were just icing on the cake!!! Seriously, perfect. Now let’s talk about the food, oh my god! We are a group of people who like to eat, and we like to eat good/fresh food. FDC nailed it. We were a group of 32 and each meal, happy hour snack and late night pizza bar was on point. We never had a chance to get hungry or thirsty for that matter. The drinks were amazing as well! Fresh pina coladas? Seriously? The best! If your drink was close to empty someone was there to offer you another one. It was a piece of heaven. The staff; if you want to be treated like the most important person in the world, by the friendliest staff in the world, then FDC is your place. Ray, John, Arturo, Joanne, Adrian, Wilvia and of course Ruthie and Dan are amazing. Not only are they one step ahead of you the entire time, they are genuinely happy to be there and take pride in what they do. The entire staff including those not mentioned or those that work behind the scenes are equally as incredible and they all contributed to our group having the best vacation ever! Our guests are still raving about what an amazing time they had, they can’t stop! We haven’t stopped smiling and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you FDC for the exceptional service and hospitality. You provided the right atmosphere and over the top service to our family and friends and you made our dream wedding come true. Thank you so much!

Best wedding/vacation/honeymoon I could imagine!!!

We learned about Flor de Cabrera from a travel organization we were working with to plan our destination wedding. We wanted to take our closest 20 friends and family members on a week vacation to an all-inclusive location where we could also have our wedding. Booking FDC was the BEST decision we could have made! I seriously only have good things to say about the house, owners and staff! First - the house and location. The house looks like it came straight out of a luxury homes magazine. It is massive of course, but the detail that exists in every room of the house is amazing. From every window you can either see the pool, ocean and/or gardens. The pool is where we spent most of the days playing volleyball and listening to music :) The beach is just down the stairs for a nice romantic ocean stroll. The beds are super comfortable and each room, no matter which one you stay in, has a great bathroom. Second, the owners and staff literally bend over backwards to make your every wish come true. Everyone is so incredibly friendly that it was really hard to say goodbye at the end of the week! They felt like our family too! If you are planning a wedding or event, know that you are in the best hands. Ruthie and Ray know exactly what they are doing and can take your dream and make it come true. Not once did I worry about anything for the wedding day and rehearsal. And the FOOD!!!!! Absolutely amazing. People from my group are still talking about the food! All I can say is if you have the opportunity to go to FDC, don't wait another second. My husband and I are already saving to go back in a few years!!! Love Love Love!

Flor de Cabrera was built by the PONA Foundation in 2008 for the purposes of improving the quality of life for children in the Dominican Republic.

The concept of the foundation was to offer guest a luxurious and relaxing vacation while also a feel good experience of supporting local educational programs. Guests open to donating or bringing down needed items for the community are rewarded with discounts on their stay. The concept has had great success over the years. All guest are welcome to visit the projects the villa supports to learn more.
