Welcome to the Little Sandpiper Beach House with your Private Beach

Watch the Gulf waves roll in while sitting on the couch! Or in bed. Or on the back porch! Fish off of the backyard or the canal lot. Sunbathe on your own beach. Great place to see wildlife, including dolphins, herons, pelicans and cranes! Secluded beachfront road with security. 2 bedroom, 2 full bath with roll-out queen EZ bed. Gas fireplace, full kitchen and inside elevator. Come as you are--we have towels, cookware, stemware, dishes, washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee bar, beach chairs, beer fridge, a bike and a kayak. Outside shower (with hot water!), expansive screened-in back porch. Wi-fi and smart TV. Beautiful downtown Ocean Springs with great restaurants and shops is only 7 miles away. Take a day trip to New Orleans with only an hour drive.
All messages and payments must be made through the VRBO site. Please note that the seawall on the west side is damaged. I am working to have it fixed, but will minimuze work for your stay to avoid the interruption of your stay. please note that the water pressure is very low from 7-7:30 am.

Amazing place

Living the life

Beautiful home and a beautiful view. Waves rolling in and out and dolphins playing everyday, right in front of the home. Rest and relaxation is just what we needed. Thank you for sharing your home.

Lovely Property with Beautiful Views

The property is exactly as described. Beautiful views of the Gulf. Nice, large fully screened porch, lots of unscreened area to sit out in the sun. The house was well equipped with everything you needed, and nicely decorated. The wi-fi worked perfectly, which is sometimes an issue at the beach. The elevator was perfect for hauling up luggage, groceries, and people. There's plenty of parking for vehicles.The host sent the entry code on time, answered the few questions I had promptly on the VRBO app, and had the absolute shortest list of demands I've ever seen on any rental (adjust the thermostat, take out the trash, lock the doors). I loved it!

Quiet vacation

We had a very nice stay at Little Sandpiper. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The house was great. We were able to fish and paddleboard and had a nice relaxing time. To get to the beach you have to go down a little embankment beside the house. Just FYI if you have little ones or elderly. Also, the backyard of the house ends at a retaining wall with rocks at the bottom - just be aware if you have little ones. The beach was nice but know that you are on the Mississippi Sound. If you are looking for emerald water to go with your white sand, keep going east. If you want a nice, quiet and private area for vacation, this is a great spot.

Quick getaway

Beautiful house and view. Clean (except for all the leftover shampoos and soaps in bathrooms - need to get rid of those). Comfortable and spacious. Beautiful live oaks in front and beach in back. Fell in love with downtown area of Ocean Springs. Recommend golf cart rental to explore there.

Just as described

Everything is there that you will need, just bring clothes and groceries. The house is just as she describes. We loved the privacy of the home and beach. We fished from the backyard and caught some fish! The screened in back porch is amazing and we spent hours out there enjoying the view. Don’t hesitate to rent this one.

Nice Quiet Beach Vacation

We had a great week here! Beautiful home, well kept, perfect for a nice relaxing vacation. Cute little private beach to the right of the backyard. It was our first time to the area so we werent sure what the beaches were like, this area has some rocks, and beautiful white sand. One evening we saw dolphins off in the distance. Loved the screened in back porch. Husband enjoyed soem fishing in the backyard. Stepson found quite a few hermit crabs. Elevator was easy to use for hauling things up and down.

Family trip to the gulf

This house had amazing views of the gulf from every room. We seen all all sorts of wildlife even dolphins the second day of our stay! The kids loved playing on the private beach trying to catch crabs and digging in the sand. The house was close enough to get food delivered so we didnt have to leave the beach.

Relaxing trip

The area and the home were very nice. The beach was not a swim beach but that’s not what we were looking for. We enjoyed going to neighboring beaches and towns during the day and coming back and playing games in the evening.

Scenic views

We enjoyed the screened in porch in the morning looking across the water and when it got hot we still had wonderful views from the living room and bed room. It was nice laying in the bed looking across the water and waking up to the waves. Wonderful place to stay and the chairs, umbrellas, and kayaks provided made the trip even better.

30th Wedding Anniversary

What a wonderful place! This was our first visit to the MS gulf coast and it did not disappoint! The location offered tons of privacy with a short drive to all the action. Perfect for us! We even went to New Orleans and had lunch on Bourbon Street one day. Amazing views, a different sunset every night, dolphin visits in the mornings and a private beach to enjoy. We even had a fire on the beach a couple times during our stay, which was awesome! Jill was easy to communicate with and she responded quickly. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home! We really had a wonderful time! Mindy & Dan

Beautiful views

It's truly a beautiful home with an incredible view. It's off the beaten path so it's very quiet, but still lots of food options within a short drive. We had some fun catching redfish off the shore and the beach had beautiful sand. The only issues we had with the property was all the debris that was in the water and on the beach and one of the showers I'm pretty sure is possessed. The other shower was excellent, so we all just showered in that bathroom. Awesome views, great location, beautiful house and property, but if you are looking for a swimming beach I think you'll be disappointed. Also had great interactions with the owner, extremely fast responses to questions. Would definitely stay here again.
