The Drieschka Studio has an amazing location in quaint downtown Algoma, which is only 5 miles from Door County. The downtown district is loaded with great things to experience including the beach and boardwalk (one block away), von Stiehl winery, Ahnapee brewery, antique shops, art studios, unique retail shops, and city marina, fishing charters. The kitchen studio is located on the first floor of a Historic Inn and has a beautiful fenced in backyard, deck and fire pit. Enjoy our commons amenities to include a pool table room, bar/lounge, and casual fine dining restaurant.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Love the decorating style. Location was excellent for the event at the park. Planning on staying again next year for the same event.

Kitchen was awesome, ee cooked breakfast and dinner every night. Yard was perfect for our dog and very quiet. The location allowed us to walk every where in town and to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay in Algoma. The suite was decorated very nice and had everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Having the fenced in yard for my dog was so nice. We enjoyed the fire table at night.The only negative is that it is noisy when hotel guests are coming and going or playing pool but it quieted down at the latest by 10:30-11pm which worked fine for us.

The lobby is very outdated and dirty and has a musty smell to it. Our room was next to the kitchen and bar so the noise was so loud.

Great stay

We all had a great stay the weekend in Algoma and Door County. The property was super dog friendly and very clean. We would definitely stay there again!!

Convenient Location in Algoma

Little Gem

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Shout out to Kristine for her great communication. This place was so cute and had all the necessary comforts for a great stay! We loved the outdoor patio and the convenience of the restaurant in the inn. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again!

Comfy, clean and just right.

We had a two-night stay and loved the space layout. It was obviously modern, the private backyard was great and also having the ability to have your own private entrance. Our dog loved being able to explore while also being securely fenced in. We were able to cook our own food but also took advantage of the Supper Club feel right on the property. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating

Perfection!

This property was the perfect spot for our three night stay near Door County. Quiet, comfortable, roomy...just wonderful! Our pup was able to enjoy the back fenced-in area while we relaxed by the table top fire pit. Everything was better than described.

Fantastic

I couldn’t ask for a better stay in small quiet town. Just what city folks needed. Hotel had a restaurant, and bar super convenient. Lobby area had an area to hang out and play pool. Restaurants walking distance, bakery, and grocery store. We will be back.

Great Experience Staying With Pet

We had a fantastic stay at this listing in May! My partner and I were in town for our wedding and brought our dog along, and the apartment was absolutely perfect for the occasion. Being part of Hotel Stebbins made it super convenient to be close to our friends who were also staying nearby, which made everything from getting ready to celebrating together so much easier.The apartment itself was very clean, just as described in the listing, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of our favorite parts was the backyard—our dog loved having a safe and spacious area to play and relax.Kristine was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions promptly and making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during such a special time in our lives. Highly recommend!

perfect retreat

The apartment was perfectly furnished and equipped. Location was great, just a short walk to the beach and the beautiful boardwalk. Close to brewery and other downtown businesses and a short drive to Sturgeon Bay. Check in was easy and the hotel and bar staff was very friendly. Nice to have the restaurant and bar on the premise if you want to eat in and not feel like cooking. The fenced patio was very convenient with our dog, unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it very much due to the rainy weather, but with better weather it would have been very nice. Would definitely recommend this place to others and try to go back again

Door County getaway

Everything was great. The condo is part of a wonderful old hotel centrally located in town. The property was clean and up-to-date. The private backyard was very nice. The off-street private parking was convenient. The condo was stocked with all of the necessities. The only downside is we were there on a Monday and Tuesday, and the restaurant in the adjoining hotel was not open. Not the fault of the property owner, just meant we had to explore a little more to find places to eat.

Clean and well-maintained

This suite looked just as pictured - up close and in person it was super clean and well-maintained. As a pet guardian who considers their dog a member of the family, we've stayed at a few pet friends hotels and rental properties over the years. This was definitely the nicest while still staying very pet friendly and safe for our dog. There's a bit of hallway noise that could be heard in the room - similar to staying at a hotel - but this was most prominent around 4-7pm. It was very quiet at night. The patio was GREAT. Super fun hangout spot which is totally fenced so our dog could chill safely with us. We cooked a meal and the kitchen was clean and in great working order. Everything was just as expected. This location is in the heart of downtown, in walking distance to all the fun things to do in town. I love how easy it is to access Door County from here. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nice studio in beautiful area

Overall, the location is lovely. It was very clean, decorated with attention to detail, very comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked (including ice cooled beer mugs in freezer!), and a nice little patio. Both, the room door and patio door had double locks, which made me feel completely safe. The only thing that should be made a bit clearer is that the property is right off the front entrance with the restaurant/ bar to one side and billiard room to the other. They do provide a white noise machine in the room, which helped a bit, but there was still quite a bit of noise. Property owner responds super quick to any questions or needs, which was great. The location is fantastic as it is within walking distance to the beach and many pubs and restaurants. It"s also just short drive from sturgeon bay, peninsula state park and other gorgeous hiking trails, such as cave point county park. One more note: The owner's dog was frequently unsupervised in the lobby, which made it a bit stressful for me and my dog to get out the door. Her dog is super friendly and sweet, but my dog has had bad experiences and does not like to be approached by off leash dogs. Overall, a really nice stay!

Nice Place to stay!

This studio is beautiful and well stocked. The outdoor patio was very cute, although the weather was not cooperating, so we didn't get to use it. I appreciated the white noise machine, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the restaurant in the hotel which had very good food and friendly people! We ate there both nights we stayed. We also enjoyed playing pool in the commons area. The location was great! We loved Algoma...beautiful boardwalk along the beach, and only a short drive to visit the rest of the Peninsula. We would definitely stay here again!
