In the picturesque seaside village of Westport Point, this historic building provides an incredibly memorable getaway. Our lobby was originally a chandlery and general store that opened its doors in 1827, thus making it our 200th anniversary! with original cabinets and oil lamps and Isaac Cory’s original desk. Beyond the kitchen, and down a short flight of stairs , separated by a stone wall two feet thick, you will enter our popular “Speakeasy” lounge, originally opened in 1950, serving craft cocktails 5 to 9pm . The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with original paintings on the walls, and comfortable soft seating. In the winter the fireplace warms our philosophical musings.

The inn boasts the convenience of a well-equipped kitchen, where you can whip up delectable meals using the provided stove, oven, refrigerator, and other modern appliances. Gather around the dining table and savor your creations, or step outside and fire up the grill for an alfresco meal on our waterfront terrace.
Venture out and explore the nearby Horseneck State Beach, just a 6-minute drive away, where you can bask in the sun, take a refreshing dip in the ocean, ( we have a swim ladder*) on our private marina dock, or simply relax on the beach loungers.
