Welcome to Lindisfarne Mountain Getaway! Newly renovated, this cozy two-story, two-bedroom cabin is located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains! Boasting an open floor plan, a wrap-around deck, a beautiful fire pit and tranquil creekside setting, Lindisfarne is sure to become your new favorite Smoky Mountain Getaway.

Enter the cabin and you will find the open living area, with cabin-perfect furnishings, strong internet with Zoom and streaming capability. The gas fireplace is perfect for those cozy winter nights, or grab some popcorn and settle in for a movie night in the comfort of your very own ā€œhome away from homeā€ in the Smokies. Meal preparations have never been easier in the fully equipped kitchen with plenty of counter and cabinet space, all major appliances, including blender and tableware. The two bedrooms with queen-size beds, two bathrooms (one with a tub and shower, the other with a walk-in shower), welcome you to rest after a long day of sightseeing!

Lindisfarne Mountain Getaway is located off of Betty's Creek Road, 1/2 mile form the Vineyards of Betty's Creek, a beautiful wedding venue and is within a short driving distance of downtown Sylva, Franklin and Dillsboro which offers plenty of shopping, restaurants and fun.

Lindisfarne is in the heart of the North Carolina Fly Fishing Trail, with the Tuckaseegee River 10 minutes away, as well, the Nantahalia River is also very close. Mountain Activities, such as hiking, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking and zip lining are all close as there are several National Parks close by. The Nantahalia Gorge Train offering trips along the Nantahalia River and into the park as well as the Nantahalia Outdoor Center, a Mecca for kayaking with great riverfront dining are are a short drive away.

Wedding at Betty's Creek Vineyard

The house was in perfect proximity to the wedding. Everything we needed was there. I'd recommend king beds should they ever refurnish. All in all a cozy house in the woods and a beautiful porch. *Management Response Suzanne, We're glad to see that you enjoyed not only the porch (our favorite amenity) but the outdoor areas as well!! We loved our stay! The only drawback was double beds in each bedroom. Not big enough for us so we had to sleep apart but everything else was perfec!

Nice tranquil getaway

The property is located off a gravel road that has very little traffic. The firepit is located near the small creek, givinig it a very nice relaxing feel.

Loved the place, first class, the interior was wonderful, all the furnishing were so well put together, very comfortable and just fit a cabin in the mountains. Also many homes are nice on the interior, but the exterior also was so nice, one of the nicest ever, great beautiful manicured yard that also looked so natural. The covered deck and firepit added to that and were available to enjoy that aspect of this place. I emphases covered deck because you could enjoy it all weather, rain or sun! the kitchen fixtures - topnotch as well. Beds comfortable. Super nice!

Perfectly Lovely Stay

A wonderful home and beautiful, secluded surroundings. Well appointed...we were able to cook a number of meals easily with plenty of pots, pans and accessories. Roomy, rustic yet elegant. The firepit is just superb and logs and fire starters were supplied. The community of homes is extremely well laid out with privacy in mind. We were aware there were other homes nearby but they were well shielded and unobtrusive.

Loved the place, tasteful and comfortably outfitted, things looked to be mostly new. the setting was very peaceful, nice inside and outside. The covered deck was very spacious and loved the fire pit, very nice and comfortable. Close to several national parks, mountain hiking, fishing and good restaurants! Plenty to do. Will be back!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin

This was the perfect quaint cabin for our stay, close to The Vineyards at Bettyā€™s Creek, where my daughter was married last weekend. We stayed with our best friends, from Thursday to Monday and it was the perfect place to unwind before and after the wedding! The house is immaculate. The grounds are beautiful! We want to come back just to visit the area! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Mountain retreat

Everything was perfect. We so needed this visit. Brought one of our friends that recently lost her husband AND had hip surgery. We sat on the porch for hours talking, enjoying the flowers and hearing the gentle sounds of the creek. Very relaxingā€¦thank you so very much. We will definitely be back.

Cozy Comfortable Retreat Close to Betty's Creek Vineyards Wedding Venue

We enjoyed the coziness, porch and rustic decor of Lindisfarne! Morning coffee on the porch sitting in rocking chairs, napping to football on the tv with a fire in the fireplace, Bringing my elderly parents over after the wedding reception, Eating a big breakfast with my husband, sister and her husband on the porch dining table, walking around the lovely yard and fire pit next to the creek, trips to Franklin for lunch and shopping, Rehearsal Dinner at Betty's Creek, wine bar party at Enloe's in Sylva, the nearby location of Betty's Creek Vineyard wedding venue were all my favorite things about Lindisfarne. The only reason I didn't give a 5 was because the bathrooms could use some work. Floor tiles coming loose, shower inserts rather than tile with icky shower curtains, inoperable jetted tub, and lighting in main room was too intense using the fan lights. Would have been nice to have a floor lamp and stronger bulbs in the lamps. Overall experience at Lindisfarne was magical! If I were in the area again, I would return and enjoy the lovely firepit with the dry wood provided to us. Fantastic location for privacy and close to Betty's Creek wedding venue.

Perfect mountain getaway for the family

We absolutely LOVED our stay here and will definitely be back! It is such a great location near downtown Dillsboro and downtown Sylva with so many fun things to do and places to eat! The cabin is pristine, with so much warmth and charm, and our family loved the huge wrap around deck. The yard is HUGE and so beautifully maintained, and the fire pit next to the stream was idyllic, and we roasted quite a few marshmallows. The fireplace was warm and cozy inside, and the beds were so comfortable with good water pressure in the showers (important to my hubby lol.) Kitchen was super cute, all the appliances and pots/pans, etc., seemed brand new, and we just had such a relaxing time in such a peaceful place. I can't wait to come back in the Fall to see the leaves and enjoy all the nearby outdoor activities. Definitely recommend!

Nice quiet peaceful

The only thing I would suggest is some kind of covering for the door windows in the living room. Was uncomfortable sitting there at night. Felt like we were in a fish bowl. I would suggest bring your own pillows. My pillow was so flat, felt like i didnt have one at all.

Very cute with a rustic vibe

Great cottage with a very cool rustic theme. Everything is high quality and was as advertised. Nice grill and fire pit. I do wish their directions to the property were a bit clearer. I donā€™t think they gave me the actual street address, but rather turn-by-turn directions from the main road. We came in after dark and missed a turn. Not a big deal but lost about 10 mins. Once we arrived I entered the street address on google maps and it seemed to work fine. Definitely still a 5-star stay, but just a suggestion.

A Christmas Winter Experience

It was a very comfortable stay, had all the conveniences of home. It was a new experience to have to winterize at night. Management was very helpful. If your an older couple the stairwell and bannister can be a bit tricky to navigate, slippery. The television viewing was very limited. The gas fire place was inviting but the preset remote heated the upstairs area rapidly. No indoor eating area only tv trays, that were hard to place between coffee table and sofa. Because of the weather comfortable for a party to two but would have been very difficult for a larger group.
