Beautiful home in the woods

Great home with space for two families (4 adults 5 tween/teens). Beautiful floor to ceiling windows for lovely view of the trees. Very clean and well stocked with towels and hot tub towels. Hot tub was very clean and the perfect temp when we arrived. Bedding and pillows felt new and floors/kitchen were spotless. I have stayed in many mountain condos and homes and this was excellent. Management was communicative and flexible with our travel plans. I would highly recommend!

Great rental

A wonderful stay- clean and well stocked home. Great nature path nearby and easy drive to the mountain. Only small complaint was master bedroom had a faint bathroom odor, but a candle helped cover it. Would stay again!

Very clean & comfy

This is a comfortable place to stay and it was very very clean. We had a couple small hiccups but the property management was great and handles it right away. The beds were great!!! The grill is charcoal. The hot tub is great.

Great place for family!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hood Hideout. It was very clean and had a good amount of space. There is no air conditioning so if that bothers you this would not be the place for you. However, since we were out and about during the day it was manageable at night. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the Mount Hood Area.

Cozy Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed here more than once and will likely be back. This was our first winter stay and it was lovely. The home is well-appointed, has a great space for the kids, and is in a convenient location close to mountain activities. Most importantly, the space is comfortable and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, and we had plenty of towels and linens for our stay. The record player is always a hit. The only change I’d make would be to the lighting: one bedroom only has an overhead light, and the other two have single bare-bulb lamps, but this is pretty nit-picky. Adding table or floor lamps would make this place perfect.

Spring Break disappointment

Unfortunately, we at first had issues with our car. Communicated that we would not be there day one. Then the weather shut down one of the major roads to access the property. Again, communicated that we would not be able to make it now due to the weather. No response. I know that there would not be a refund, but I would have thought that there would have at least been a response. Possibly a chance to rebook for another timeframe. It was spring break for my grandson and I came from North Carolina to be with him and treat him to this stay, just disappointed that there was no communication.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely house with a modern cozy, chill vibe--perfect for a very hygge getaway. Our kids loved the upstairs bunk bedroom (how nice waking to a view of the trees through the skylights!) and we all enjoyed a family movie night together on the huge couch after some boardgames by the fire. The house was quiet and clean with all we needed to do a little cooking. It's a pleasant neighborhood and though the houses are close together, we felt an adequate sense of privacy. Easy access to restaurants/grocery and the mountain. We'd love to stay here again sometime!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin had many updates, was clean, comfortable and a good fit for two families on a week long get away. Parking was a little tight, there was not adequate towels for our group of six so we used the hot tub towels and doubled down on laundry, and the up record player had no needle but could connect to our phones Bluetooth. The wifi worked great, even with my need to connect to a VPN for work and managed the groups devices great. The location is only a few miles to Welches or Rhody so lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Took about 45 minutes with traffic and snow on the road to arrive at Meadows.
