Romantic rustic house in the mountains of Madrid

This is our self-designed and built in the 90s for the weekend dream home. Our style is rather rustic and the furniture is older pieces, which I partially restored myself. The property is left natural. If you would like to take a break from everyday life or write a book, go on nature trips, look for historic sites in the area, country, people, culture and way of life, then this is the place for you. The center of Madrid is only 47 km away and easy to reach. By car you are there in 35 minutes.

You have the entire ground floor with kitchen, bathroom, dining and living room (open concept). You can also make yourself comfortable on the large terrace. In summer, the small porch at the entrance is fresher.

In the future, we also want to rent the attic, so that even larger groups find space.

In winter you can make yourself comfortable by the fireplace. Wood is sufficiently available.

The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials: crockery, pots, cutlery, ceramic hob (4 sections), microwave, refrigerator.

We still wash by hand. :-)

Towels and towels are ready. Toilet paper and basic equipment such as dish soap too.

You are also invited to sit on the large veranda on the south side. We love to eat and chat there. While guests are in the house, we live in Madrid city. If you are interested in more tips or questions about the country and its people, we can sit on the veranda and I'll explain everything to you.

Please do not make a fire on the property. There is an increased risk of fire.

If you want to barbecue, please contact me first. As long as the terrain is dry, grilling is prohibited because of the risk of fire.
