Relaxing Vacation Home by the Bay

Come stay at our private and simple home located in the quiet village of Bay View. This two-bedroom two bath home has everything you need for your trip and is located within walking distance of Sandusky Bay. We are conveniently located within minutes of popular attractions such as Cedar Point and the Lake Erie Islands. We are also situated near many other local conveniences such as boating, fishing, biking, golfing, and many restaurants and wineries. There are golf cart rentals and a local restaurant within walking distance. Our village is a very nice, safe place to ride bikes or walk around after a day visiting the sites or being on the water. Off street parking for two vehicles in driveway and additional parking for vehicle and small boat within walking distance. There is also a boat ramp within Ā½ mile. We are close to shopping with a 5-minute drive to Dollar General and 11-minute drive to Wal-Mart.
Our Amenities include:
* Central Air/Heating,
* Eat-In Kitchen with appliances, Keurig (K cup coffee provided), pots, pans, plates, eating utensils, microwave, blender, and toaster
* Full Bathrooms stocked with shampoo and bath soap, hair dryer, first aid kit.
* All linens, towels and wash cloths provided
* Wi-Fi
* Flat Screen TV's. TV's in every room with Firesticks with Stream TV for cable channels
* Washer and Dryer
* Private Patio table set with Propane Grill
* Propane Fire Pit
*All beds have freshly washed linens. One Bedroom has a Queen Bed, Second Bedroom has two new single beds and Living Room has queen-size pull-out couch with new foam topper.
* Laundry room with washer & dryer
* Separate bar area located just off garage (rest of garage is not accessible to guests).
Now for the rules,
No parties or events.
No loud noise after 11.
No smoking in house.
No pets.
No fires or fireworks.
No more than 6 guests without permission.
Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on property.
Turn propane tank off if you use grill or fire pit.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
We are Not responsible for injuries.
You will be held responsible if you cause damage to house or items.
You agree to all these house rules upon booking this property.

Nice Place For A Fishing Trip Stay

We fished Sandusky Bay over the weekend. Nice place to stay. Good people that own the place. Perfect spots in town for food, beer, fishing stuff (BayView). Just wish there was a Pizza Place in town.

Sandusky Bay fishing trip

A very nice and very clean place. The owners are super nice people and they were very helpful and a joy to meet. I can't wait for our next fishing trip and we will definitely will be staying there again...

Great location!

Perfect location for everything we were wanting to do! Walking distance from fishing, boating & food. Great place to relax after 2 busy days at Cedar Point. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We were lucky to be there to witness the local catfish tournament that was very entertaining. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay

Such a nice house. Very clean and comfortable. We were in town for a baseball tournament, it was close to Cedar Point and close to the beach. My husband loved the fishing pier in walking distance. Great hospitality from the owners!

Perfect Cedar Point Getaway

Spacious, tasteful and immaculate with all the little touches that made our stay to visit Cedar Point enjoyable! Valerie was so accommodating when we had a little glitch in our plans and is just lovely to work with. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again!

Great Place

We rented the house as we were visiting for a baseball tournament at Sportsforce. The house was very clean and was in a great location. Great fishing was available within a short walk. Will definitely return.

Awesome place in Bay View

Chris and Valerie have done an amazing job turning this cute little house in Bay View into a delightful rental. They are great hosts. Everything you need is there, everything was stylish and very clean. It was a restful retreat for our Ironman 70.3 weekend. We'll be back!

Clean and cute house! Valerie was great to work with - we needed to print a document, and she came to our rescue with a printer. House is just a short drive from Port Clinton, so convenient location too. We would stay again.

Excellent rental for seniors!

Not only would this be ideal for a family, it was perfect for seniors. Walk in shower and 2 step entry to the home made it accessible for 60+ renters. Extremely clean and kitchen had everything needed. Valarie and Chris were most accommodating and made us feel right at home. Will absolutely come back!

Annual Grandparents/Cousins Trip

Taking our 3 teenaged grandchildren on a tour of Cedar Fair amusement parks, Cedar Point was our third stop after visiting Carowinds and Kings Dominion. So, after driving 7.5 hrs to get to our next stop, arriving to a welcoming clean home, cooled perfectly and so beautifully decorated was refreshing. My husband and 3 grandkids enjoyed the time we spent in the house, the furniture and beds were all comfortable. Valerie and Kris were very receptive to any questions we had and if in the area again will check to see if this little gem of a house is available.

Spacious super clean home!

Spacious, clean, super friendly & helpful hosts, lovely and well appointed home with everything you will need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. From the pics we thought it was a small, quaint little home but it is really much larger & far more luxurious than the photos show. We had plenty of room to add guests - so our next visit, we will see about bringing one or two! With 3 coffee pot options plus tea, my husband was thrilled, lol. My teen daughter enjoyed the comfy chair & "fireplace" in the living room. I appreciated the comfortable beds, clean (did I mention how clean it was?!) home and many extras graciously provided by the hosts. (cold water bottles in the refrigerator, night lights so you can find your way around, laundry baskets & cleaning supplies, coffee pods, spa like soap & shampoo, fluffy soft large towels, soft sheets, snuggle blankets & so much more!) We WILL be back! Thank you!
