The house (approx. 100m ²) is suitable for up to 8 people and baby.

Groß Zicker, with one of the most beautiful island villages on the Mönchgut peninsula, has been stylishly built taking into account the protection of monuments and nature. The thatched roof covering conveys a cozy atmosphere and fits the general character of the village.
Each house has its own separate entrance.

The way to us:
From Stralsund via the B 96 via Samtens to Bergen, approx. 2 km before Bergen then turn right onto the B 196 via Sellin, Baabe, Lobbe towards Thiessow. Approximately 2 km before turn right to Gager / Groß Zicker.

Description of the island of Rügen and the place Groß Zicker:

The village of Groß-Zicker on the Mönchgut peninsula in the southeast of the island of Rügen is partially listed. Most of the houses are thatched.

The picturesque little town is located on the lagoon (mudflats) and is approx. 2 km away from the miles of snow-white Baltic bathing beaches.

There is a normal bathing beach, a dog beach and a nudist beach.
The historic village street of Groß-Zicker has been renewed in natural paving in order to preserve the historic character of the thatched houses framed in stone walls under the shade of chestnuts.

The parish widow's house, built in 1723, the small fishing port and the old village church with a wooden bell tower are worth seeing.

The fishing village of Groß Zicker is nestled between the Baltic Sea, the large thatched areas, wide salt marshes, short-grass pastures and the "Zicker Mountains". These forested ridges are one of the most peculiar landscapes in Germany and a wonderful hiking area.

Mönchgut peninsula:
This peninsula in the southeastern part of the island of Rügen is called "Mönchgut" because it was used by monks in the Middle Ages and was separated from the main island by a moat.

This part of western Rügen with the hilly lagoon / mudflats with miles of sandy beaches, forest biking and hiking trails is breathtaking and has not become a biosphere reserve for nothing
explained. Today it is one of the most popular vacation regions on the island. If you want to have it a little more lively, the seaside resorts Baabe, Göhren, Sellin and the urban Binz are not

Land and sea are closely intertwined in Mönchgut. Peninsulas, headlands and coastal ledges were connected by garland-like strips of land.

The many well-developed bike paths allow wonderful bike tours across the island. We rent bicycles and electric bikes. Fishing and sailing is possible. In Thiessow (5 km) there is a kite and surf school. Riding on the horse farm in Alt Reddevitz (5 km).

Golfing: Several golf courses in the vicinity: 18581 Putbus Marienstraße 7, 18574 Karnitz - Karnitz Castle and the Sassnitz Golf Club.
