The thatched and verklinkerte semi-detached house is located in the first row with unobstructed magnificent views of the Baltic Sea and the opposite places Thiessow and Klein Zicker.
The thatched roofing and the lattice windows provide a cozy atmosphere and fit the general character of the village.

The way to us:
From Stralsund via the B 96 via Samtens to Bergen, approx. 2 km before Bergen then turn right onto the B 196 via Sellin, Baabe, Lobbe in the direction of Thiessow. Approximately 2 km before turn right to Gager / Groß Zicker.

On arrival you will receive 1 bottle of wine.

Description of the island of Rügen and the town of Groß Zicker:

Groß Zicker is one of the most beautiful island villages on the Mönchgut peninsula. It is located on the peninsula Mönchgut in the southeast of the island Rügen and is partially under monument protection. Most houses are thatched. The picturesque little town is located on the bay (Watt) and is only about 2 km from the kilometer-long snow-white Baltic Sea beaches.
There is a normal beach, a dog beach and a nudist beach.
The historic village street of Groß-Zicker has been renewed in natural paving to preserve the historic character of the stone-walled thatched houses under the shade of chestnuts. Worth seeing in the village is built in 1723 Pfarrwitwenhaus, the small fishing port and the old village church with wooden belfry.

Mönchgut Peninsula:
This peninsula located in the southeastern part of the island of Rügen is called "Mönchgut" because it was run by monks in the Middle Ages and separated from the main island by a moat.
This part of West Rügen with the hilly Bodden / Watt landscape with miles of sandy beaches forest-bike and hiking trails is breathtaking and was not declared vain biosphere reserve.
Today it is one of the island's most popular holiday destinations.
If you want something more lively, the seaside resorts Baabe, Goehren, Sellin and the urban Binz are not far away.
