Rosieās Peaceful Lake House
Enjoy a peaceful vacation in our guesthouse set in a wooded setting on beautiful Lake Eufaula. Enjoy fishing from the dock located on peaceful White Oak Creek or park your boat at the dock and enjoy the beautiful lake. Our stand alone guesthouse has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a loft area with a futon sofa and 2 chairs that fold down into twin beds. The loft can easily sleep 4 children. There is also a sleeper sofa in the great room which sleeps 2 adults. There are 2 full bathrooms one with a rain shower and the other with a tub/shower. The kitchen has an electric stove, full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker and filtered water, a microwave, a dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. Everything you might need is available. There is also a high chair and a pack and play if needed for the littlest family members. The beautiful wrap around porch is equipped with outside seating, 2 porch swings and a dining table for your al fresco dining. There is a small gas grill available on the deck. There is also a small fenced yard for the kiddos or for your small to medium size four legged friends.
Enjoy swimming in the community pool and use the community boat ramp to launch your boat into the water then drive to our dock and dock your boat. Our dock is covered and you may fish to your heartās content from the dock. If you would rather worship the sun or just enjoy the peaceful nature of the lake, there is an upper deck on the dock, as well.
The guest house is a separate house not connected to our main house on our property. It is not handicapped accessible as it is located on the top portion of our offices. The bottom office portion of the guesthouse does not have interior access to the guesthouse and no guests are allowed in this area. The access to the guesthouse is up an outside flight of stairs. There is also a flight of stairs on the back of the guesthouse that allows access to the backyard.
Parking is available at the guest house.
We are pleased to welcome 1-2 well behaved small to medium sized dogs with a pet deposit. We ask that your dogs be either in the fenced yard or on a leash at all times.
The guesthouse is not on the lake but is accessible by a short walk through the woods to the dock or you may bring your own ATV to make the trip to the lake easier. There is a a community pool available for your use with armbands provided. A lost armband will cost $10 for replacement. The community pool requires all children under the age of 14 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The boat ramp is available for your use with a visitor pass will be waiting for you upon your arrival in the notebook on the kitchen island. Please return the guest pass to the house when you depart
The community has quiet hours in the evenings beginning at 11:00 pm so you can be assured your sleeping will be quiet and peaceful.

Dave and Joy have been married for 44 years. We have 4 married children and 9 grandchildren. We moved to Eufaula, AL 9 years ago from Peachtree City, GA. We fell in love with Eufaula and its architecture, its people and the lake. We purchased our property because of the peacefulness of the setting. We built the guesthouse 4 years ago and lived in it for a year while we renovated our main house. We have a spoiled English Bulldog, Rosie, a flock of chickens and 2 Nigerian dwarf goats- Freddy and Flossie. We hope you enjoy Rosieās Peaceful Lake House as much as we do.

Rosieās Peaceful Lake House is located in the White Oak Shores Community. Lake Eufaula is a beautiful lake full of largemouth bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. There are also quite a few alligators in the lake. Fishing is great.

There is a boat launch available at the White Oak Shore Community area. You must have a guest pass posted in your automobile window at all times while launching your boat or parking at the launch area. There is also a picnic area and childrenās playground. A community pool is also available with armbands, located in the guesthouse next to the front door. Please return them at the end of your visit.
We have a 2-level dock on our property for your use. You can dock you boat, fish or just sit on the upper level and enjoy the peaceful setting and catch some rays. The dock is a short hike from the guesthouse down the hill and through a wooded area .
