Hello! We are James and Lisa and are ready to help with any of your needs after you check into the property, including fantastic restaurants and activity recommendations. We accept longer stays, but in 28 day increments.

Dogs:
Yes! We are dog friendly! Please let us know the type of dog that you are bringing. If you have two dogs 20lbs. or less each, we will accept both! If you have one dog 30lbs. or less is our limit, but again let us know. We don't want there to be any misunderstanding when you check out. The additional cleaning fee is $150.00.

Home Sanitization:
Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized using properly rated disinfectant for COVID-19, as outlined by the WHO.

Please know that our cleaning team is paid a living wage. You are helping provide jobs in the local community and we appreciate it.

Main attractions include the German Beer Garden at Estabrook Park and the Munich-style Bavarian Bierhaus both of which can be reached on foot, by bicycle or car.

The Oak Leaf Trail provides easy access by bicycle to the lakefront. The Milwaukee Air and Water Show and several ethnic festivals take place throughout the summer. The biggest music festival is Summerfest.

For visitors looking to stay in a quiet village close to a major shopping mall, restaurants and of course Lake Michigan, this is the vacation home for you. The house has hardwood floors, T.V. with Roku, Wi-Fi. An armoire, walk-in closet and en suite bathroom featuring a jetted soaking tub and corner glass shower are in the master bedroom. If you enjoy espresso, you are welcome to start your day with one. Colectivo is the local purveyor of coffee and they have a great bakery. I prefer their location in the village of Shorewood. The kitchen is available for your use with storage for food in the pantry and refrigerator. Otherwise, there are restaurants (Kopp's Frozen Custard is a Milwaukee classic) as well as a variety of fast food places near the Bayshore shopping mall.

THE OUTDOORS:
All within minutes on foot or by bicycle: The Oak Leaf Trail, Milwaukee River Trails, McKinley Marina, Big Bay Park, Atwater Beach, Urban Ecology Center, Bradford Beach, Lake Drive historic architecture, outdoor German beer garden at Estabrook Park and the newly renovated Bavarian Bierhaus in Glendale and of course, Lake Michigan where an early morning sunrise is only a 15 minute walk from the house.

BUS:
The bus stop is 10 minutes away on foot and will take you into the city.

BICYCLE:
Bring your bicycles, because this area is a bicyclist's dream.

CAR:
If you have a car, there is free off-street parking available.
