Perfect for Family

Excellent room and layout. Had large family and all were comfortable. Very minor issue was the Internet dropped every two to three hours. But that did not detract from the perfect stay for us.

Nice Home

Great house in a really nice location. Well maintained and in an excellent condition and furnished with everything needed to have a really nice vacation. The location was perfect for our trip, we visited a bunch of the twilight sites. We had a great time. Thank you for having us

We enjoyed spending our holiday in this home! Plenty of room for all of us! Easy and prompt communication with the owners/host. Would recommend it!

great stay!

Had a wonderful time at this property -- albeit we weren't here much as we used it as a home base for our Hood to Coast team, it was the perfect space to host 10 adults for the weekend. Lots of space and amenities. Would stay here again!

Wonderful!!

This home was a wonderful place for me and my family to stay! It was so homey, and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, to prepare meals for our family of 9. Such a great place to stay, outside of Portland! Thank you so much for a safe, comfortable home to stay in during our vacation!

Bachelor party host spot

It was a great place to stay for a bachelor party. A lot of great activities and bars within driving distance but also the perfect place to never have to leave. Setup camp, play lawn games in the back, start a fire, hop in the hot tub, play the games in the garage, and bring consoles to setup on the TV. Highly recommend and not put too much stock in the location not being the greatest; the house makes up for it.

My husband rented a car. My adult children used Uber and were happy doing there touring by this method. Everyone loved Portland.

Birthday stay

Overall everything was good. Only issues were the hot tub having some biofilm floating that we could not rid of and it stopped getting hot after the second day. We had it set to 103 and when we tried to get in it was only 87 and would not increase. The other issue was the grill outside was covered in mold and unusable.

Great experience overall.

The place is very clean and bigger than we expected. The kitchen had plenty of amenities. The backyard was big and seemed well taken care of, too bad the weather was bad and we couldn’t take advantage. The only complaints we had were that the football table and air hockey tables needed some repair and the master bedroom was right next to the kitchen and dining room which was noisy for those trying to sleep. Otherwise very nice stay.

It was nice but…

The place was clean. However the trash bins outside were not dumped previously so the smell was horid and when we were leaving it was hard to put out our trash in the already overflowing trash bins. The WIFI was not strong enough to support the amount of devices we had. The kitchen was big enough for us to have meals together and more than enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably.

Moldy dishwasher

The house is very nice and spacious in a cozy small neighborhood. A couple things to be aware of before you visit; the dishwasher had mold all over the inside. We ran 2 hot cycles and still mold everywhere so we didnt even use it. Lastly, the hot tub was murky, had a thickness to the water, and had a VERY VERY strong chlorine chemical radiating off it. Also, there was still trash/recycling from the previous renters. Overall, it was a nice home away from home with lots of space.

Disappointing accommodations

Overall, this house was unacceptable. I have stayed at many vacation rental properties and this was definitely the worst. The level of cleanliness was terrible - I took out a knife to use and it was caked with something, I opened the drawer to find a pot holder and they were covered with old dried food, there were ants all over the walls and floor of the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms as well as 2 of the bedrooms. The property manager clearly knows about this issue as there is ant spray in the garage. The situation got worse day by day....by the time we left on the 3rd day there sere so many of them. The garbages outside were already full when we arrived on Thursday evening, so we had a hard time even getting our one bag of garbage in. My daughter was playing on the floor and noticed that there were candy wrappers and old pieces of food under the living room furniture. She also found some socks in the couch....they were not ours. Overlal just seems the cleaning is not happening. If this basic cleaning isn't happening, I don't know what they are doing with our high cleaning fee. Upon arrival to the home, we put in the door code as instructed and to our surprise, the alarm started going off. There was nothing in our check in instructions that mentioned an alarm being armed and how to turn it off. There was no tv remote in the living room, so we had to share a remote between the living room and downstairs kids bedroom - just an inconvenience.

Comfortable house for a large family

We enjoyed our stay at the Lents house. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the games in the garage. We were in Portland for a soccer tournament and the house had easy access to main roads to get where we needed to be. It was hot outside and the AC worked well. We also used the BBQ in the backyard. Check in information was late in coming from the owner. It would have been nice to have it earlier for peace of mind since we were traveling in areas without service in Oregon and I don't like to leave things to the last minute. Also, the spa was murky. Hopefully they will get that figured out. My kids still went in, but I didn't feel comfortable in it. The owner was responsive when I messaged her about things.
