Fun beach week!

Great property well kept by owner. Great location, as we walked 3 blocks to the beach daily, and walked to coffee shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Beautiful property and lication

I would definitely book this property again should the opportunity arise. Hosts even brought in an air purifier because of the fires in the region.

A Great Spring Break in Manhattan Beach!

We had a great time staying in Manhattan Beach for the week. The property's location was perfect - close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants/shops. The listing was spot on in representing the property.

Excellent Location

If you're looking for an affordable stay on the strand this is the spot. Eric's place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It's so close to grocery stores and restaurants which made it very convenient for us. The only thing I would like to point out is it's not the whole house but more like an apartment within the house.

This Property is a duplex and each unit has it's own separate address and entrance and 2 tandem car parking. You will never see the other units residents as the entrances to each unit are on opposite sides of the building, so you have complete privacy from the other long term resident.

Luxury beach apartment

Super clean, well appointed and modern space. Everything worked and was first class and very comfortable. Excellent beach access and peekaboo views of the surf. Many great choices for morning coffee and evening dinners within easy walking distance. Eric (host) was very responsive, flexible and helpful. We would definitely recommend and stay again

Beautiful experience Top rate owner/ manager

This was a beautiful location in a lovely little town. Not more than a half hour too many attractions insights. Owner/manager responsive immediately to any question I had was the hill. It’s a doozy, But once you get down to the beach, it was worth a walk. For my first trip to California this was where I should have been and will return at my next opportunity thank you, Eric I appreciate you and your home and the wonderful experience I had.

Great location

The condo was in a great spot for us. We stayed for almost two weeks and didn't rent a car, or need one. My only issue was the kitchen was not stocked with cutlery, plates or serving items. There were 4 plates, 4 bowls, etc. This made it a bit inconvenient having to do dishes after every meal.

Get away

The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the beach and nearby restaurants. We noticed a previous guest mentioned that the unit had only a very few dishes and silverware service. We had hoped that there would be more there by the time of our stay but there weren't. The amount provided is inadequate. We wouldn't run a dishwasher for so few so we had to hand wash them each time we used them. It's a lovely, modern, comfortable unit. We would recommend it to others and hope to stay there again in the future.

Great overall but not for Seniors

Generally very clean and equipt as advertized. Very tight parking. Not enough room to open both drivers side and passenger side doors. Small spiral stairs are difficult to manage. Water from roof constantly making a river to walk through to get to the rental. Property Manager was very attentive when there was no heat for 4 days. Cell phone service was not great. Had to go outside to make calls using Verizon

Lemons into Lemonade

Overall the experience was okay. Upon arriving the smoke decried was chirping and the host was not available to assist until the next day. The beds were not made and bathroom towels were not in bathrooms because the sheets and towels were in the dryer and washer. I didn’t discover this until bedtime. After a day of traveling I completed the laundry and make the bed- unacceptable. The host responded the next day and promised to make things okay Br offering a credit. Also no The dishes I finally discovered were still in the dishwasher not placed into the cabinets and there were no paper towels in the kitchen. Luckily, I know the area so I went and got paper towels for the kitchen. Again once this was communicated to the host the host was very responsive. Overall the stay in the beginning was very bumpy and as time went on I made the most of it. Location and proximity to the beach is very nice. Near lots of great restaurants and other activities.

I have replaced the Cleaning Crew which did not perform as was instructed. I now have a cleaning crew that completes all required tasks.

Beware ….stay away…terrible

The main picture of the house is accurate, you will not be staying there.The unit is in the rear over the garage and under the upper floor, with a very small balcony and a sliver view.Contacted host of dangerous situation.Left two burners will release gas but will not light.There were other maintenance issues we informed host of.He was to send handy man, never came.He said it was not a good fit and made us an offer to leave to a hotel.With 400 worth of food in refrigerator and the hassle of moving, that was not a workable solution.He then offered a two day refund,he then withdrew that , saying there was confusion over the communication.Mr Swallow stated he would not be taken advantage of. He is the one taking advantage of the guest.On arrival all the shades are closed.There is construction taking place next door within 5’.Saws,hammers and vulgar Hispanic language 6 days a week.Yes, this is not the hosts fault. What is his fault, is the lack of informing guests in the listing.On the morning of leaving the fire sprinkler alarm went off at 5 am,texted host .No response of concern .There are other choices in the area.In my opinion the misrepresentation of the picture , the lack of informing of the construction and the lack of maintenance is reason to go elsewhere.

Beware of this Visitor, Immediately after he arrived, he asked for a discount. I offered a full refund including 2 night free stay to move and he REJECTED my offer and stayed in the unit the full 7 days. His staying the full term says his issues were not of any substance. I even offered to make reservations for him at a closeby great hotel, he refused my offers. See all the other great reviews on this property.

Excellent property within a beautiful 15 minute walk along the Strand to all the shops, bars and restaurants of Manhattan Beach. Excellent location and top-spec interior. Would stay again.

This was the perfect everything for us.

The location was perfect. The views every morning were wonderful of the ocean, the house was super clean and top of the line everything. Only negative I would say is the height of the bed In guest room was a bit too high for my child to sleep on out of fear of her falling off. Otherwise we loved every second and want to come back soon!

Fantastic summer stay!!

This was by far the best VRBO stay so far. The hosts were so organized and very responsive to our needs. They actually treated the one month stay with my daughters like we were family. The location was amazing and truly a couple blocks away from beautiful locals-only Manhattan beach. Walking distance to the village so I never needed to use my car for meals. The rental was modern, clean and had all the amenities for my remote job working situation. It’s also a really safe location and quiet at night. I can’t wait to come back next summer to your place! Thank you E & P for making the month of July a memorable one.
