La Maison was designed with a private pool for my guests, and a fountain and a landing pad for the younger swimmers or puppers. A spacious backyard, plenty of outdoor seating and kitchen large enough for family gatherings. The bridal suite has two queen beds, a vintage chandelier and French doors that over look the pool area .

The second bedroom has 2 bunk beds with memory foam mattresses and privacy curtains. The third bedroom another queen bed that over looks the front and side yard and large oak tree. The fourth bedroom has a twin daybed and twin trundle , both have twin mattresses.

Everything about this property was amazing! We had a girls weekend there, and it was all perfect. From being able to sit and eat together as a whole group for dinner, to lazy pool afternoons, everything was wonderful and dreamy!!

Charming and Private with a Great Location

The owner of this property went all out to ensure this vacation rental was wonderfully decorated and perfectly equipped. The backyard area must be seen in person to be fully appreciated! Pet friendly, our dogs had great fun playing in a large, privacy-fenced grassy area. Quiet street, plenty of parking space. Conveniently located to downtown Mt. Dora, but also a quick drive to Renninger's and retail.

Great place with great Decor. The owner was very helpful and really appreciated all the extra special touches. She left sodas, coffee and even great body wash in the shower. Pool area looked like a resort. I will stay again when in Mt. Dora for sure.

Great home close to everything!

La Maison Musique is a wonderful, beautifully decorated home in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks away from downtown Mt Dora. There was plenty of room for our family gathering to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation. Open kitchen / dining / living room was great for entertaining, beds were comfy and bathrooms had all the necessary amenities. Outdoor area was very nice, pool was amazing in the steamy central Florida afternoons with plenty of seating for everyone. Jessica, our host, was on point with communications and quickly answered any questions we had. We definitely recommend this listing!

Great spot to relax!

This was a really great location to relax for a few days with friends who we often share vrbo’s with……spent some time in the charming Mt. Dora area and enjoyed a downtown festival as well as the really good restaurants nearby. The house was nicely decorated and updated with a relaxing back yard and pool. Sitting by the pool and reading while the birds chirped was probably the most relaxing. We plan to be back hopefully in the near future to enjoy this quiet getaway spot……away from the hustle bustle but near enough to amenities and the downtown……just worked out perfect for the whole group!

Beautiful home immaculately designed with French decor. Jess makes sure to have this home stocked with most of a traveler’s needs. She is very thoughtful, talented and just a joy to communicate with! We will definitely be back and check out her other homes! La Maison truly felt like home!

Perfect Stay for a Wedding Weekend

We stayed at this beautiful home for my daughter’s wedding at the Sadonie Mansion, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything was beautifully done, from the comfortable furnishings to the thoughtful touches throughout the house. The host provided everything we could possibly need.We hosted the rehearsal dinner in the backyard, which was spacious and absolutely lovely—it was a hit with everyone! The area itself was wonderful, with plenty of room for our dogs to run and explore, which was an added bonus for our family.Overall, this home was the ideal place for such a special occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

If you are considering Mount Dora, this is your place! Let me start by saying we had different dates originally picked and my husband was in an accident and Jess was so kind to communicate with during our time of emergency and help us change our dates! Not only is it important to choose the right accommodation, but it is equally important to choose the right host. With this booking you will get both. The location is fantastic, it was a little too far from downtown for me because I have a bad hip but Mount Dora has this great golf cart transit that works on tips alone it is so friendly they came and picked us up at the house and took us downtown every day. But for everyone else, it’s an easy 15 minute walk. The house is superb! Jess leaves no detail forgotten! It is so precious! The house is charming, well decorated & the kitchen is well stocked. We cooked big breakfasts and then we were out downtown for the rest of our meals. Unfortunately it was chilly when we went so we couldn’t use the pool, but the patio and pool area is beautiful. Beds were comfortable, the blackout curtains were perfect, shower pressure is amazing. Communicating with Jess was easy. I had one question while we were there and she replied immediately. Seriously, can’t recommend this place enough, you’ll love it. Mount Dora is charming but this house really puts the sprinkles on top of the cupcake !!

Wish I could stay forever

Absolutely was perfect for us! We enjoyed the saltwater pool with its fountain- the decor and feel of the house was so welcoming -I want to decorate my house with yours in mind. As a matter of fact loved your sofa so much I bought one like it - most comfortable sofa ever! Bed was very comfortable as well - the bunk bed room could be a bit claustrophobic possibly small lights in the bunks for reading- and may I suggest a crib or pack and play. But those are suggestions overall it was excellent.

Perfect Home

We just moved to Mount Dora and needed a home for a few days while the movers dropped things off and we got situated. We have five children and a golden lab. This house met our needs in every way. Short drive to downtown, quiet neighborhood, lots of room in the backyard area and beautiful pool. Large kitchen and very clean home. We loved it and highly recommend this property.

After 10 years of serving my country with the Army (74D) and deploying with the Air Force as a Firefighter, I decided to call Mount Dora, FL, my forever home. I feel like I'm walking in my purpose when I’m traveling or going on a new adventure, so I aim to see at least 3-4 new places each year and make conversations with strangers along the way.

After many years of traveling and calling a "home away from home" my home, I’ve decided to become a host with a few bungalows in the town I call home. Vacation Rentals have given me the opportunity to experience some amazing places like Costa Rica, Iceland, North Carolina, England and Bali, just to name a few. There’s something about occupying or sharing someone’s home while visiting a new country that makes you feel like you never left the comforts of your own home.
