Sedona Chimney Rock Trail Casita is a charming retreat ideal for travelers eager to explore Sedona's stunning landscapes. Located in the peaceful Chapel area, this recently remodeled 1,000 sq. ft. casita offers privacy, comfort, and convenience—just 4 miles from Hwy 89A and close to dining, shopping, and hiking trails.

The Space

This thoughtfully designed one-bedroom, one-bathroom casita accommodates up to 4 guests. With high ceilings, stone floors, and abundant natural light, the open-concept layout creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Spacious and inviting with a Smart TV, gas fireplace, and walls of windows that frame the breathtaking red rock scenery.

This property and its privacy and surrounding views was the highlight of our trip. It was clean and comfortable and very well appointed. We loved the gas fireplace on our chilly nights and the outside patio was so peaceful and relaxing to hang out on and have our coffee on our sunny mornings. It was close to everywhere we wanted to eat and shop and sightsee. We hope to be back someday to beautiful Sedona and we would definitely stay here again.

The Casita was in the perfect spot to access many of the hiking trails that we wanted to do. The casita was clean, peaceful and had some great views of the red rock mountains. We did have a little bit of a hard time getting the air conditioner cool enough for us while sleeping at night and the bathroom was a little snug, but overall we loved our experience and would book again if ever back in Sedona.

Very clean and quiet location. Bed. Was on the firm side. No way to use the fireplace as control missing. Bbq will cremate! Bathroom was fine for both of us. Someone prior to us must have knocked the kitchen slider off as it was chipped and the tile broken where it likely hit! Broken when we checked in!!! There is a defective outlet to the right of the microwave. A hole is in the far right front window slide that houses a spider. He doesn’t eat much but you may want to seal this with caulk.

We appreciate you bringing the maintenance concerns to our attention. Regarding the fireplace, we remove the remote control during the warmer months because the fireplace generates heat while the air conditioning is running, which can unnecessarily increase energy usage and reduce cooling efficiency. We apologize if this was not communicated clearly prior to your stay. We have also inspected the BBQ, outlet near the microwave, window track, and sliding door area to address any issues that may affect future guests. We appreciate you noting the chipped slider and tile upon arrival so there would be no confusion regarding when that damage occurred. We understand that comfort preferences, such as mattress firmness, can vary from guest to guest, and we value that feedback as well. Thank you again for your stay and for providing detailed observations that help us improve the guest experience.

The house and yard were very nice!!! Wish there was a stove. The views from the home are beautiful. The location is great - very close to amazing hiking trails (Bell Rock, Little Horse, etc) and close to both Sedona and Village of Oak Creek. The property management felt somewhat cold - texts about check in and check out costing 100/hour, notes on the travel books in the home that a 100 fee would be assessed if the book was taken. All of the 100 threats didn’t feel very welcoming/luxurious. Check in was easy.

The Casita was beautiful. The location was great and the views of the red rocks amazing. The neighborhood was very quiet and the position of the Casita created a cozy, private environment. The host was attentive and readily available if we needed them.
