Girls weekend getaway. New build; house is spotless; kitchen is fully stocked. We LOVED sitting in the picture window overlooking the valley, watching the hawks soar. We are excited to return in the summer and enjoy the pool.

The house and location are amazing! Be advised, the internet is not strong enough or configured correctly to do much work/streaming. I would go back, but would request that the internet be set up to do basic things as my cell service did not work either.

Beautiful remote/secluded getaway

The pictures of the property are accurate. I would recommend reading every review for a property versus being swept up by how nice a property looks.. I say this because although this property is stunning, there were so many reviews about the bed and linen that span over two years and the reviews are absolutely accurate.. also we experienced a sink in the full bath that didnā€™t drain well, a ceiling fan that did not work and walls that would benefit from a little touch up paint. I spoken to the property management company a couple of times, but I got the feeling of being placated. Again, a beautiful remote property with a private driveway atop a hill.

Hilltop Getaway

While the property itself is a bit remote (we liked that part), it is maybe 5 miles from downtown Calistoga. Beautiful new house. Gorgeous views. Very relaxing and quiet, but with all first class comforts.

We love this place, but please get a new bed

This is one of my favorite rentals I have ever stayed at. Everything has been done with such quality, except for the bed. Itā€™s is a very low quality Mattess and the bed frame is so squeaky. Please get a new bed and we will be back many more times to enjoy this wonderful place of peace and rest.

Honeymoon Escape

We stayed at this property for a part of our honeymoon and it was lovely! Tucked away in the hills outside of Calistoga it was a peaceful getaway. The house was fully stocked in the kitchen and toiletries which made it easy since the nearest store is at least 10 mins away. The property was very clean and well taken care of. We would stay at this property again but next time longer to fully enjoy the house along with wine country!

Great stay

If you want to walk to restaurants and shopping, this is not the place for you. If you want a quite setting in a lovely little cabin with great views and a 15 minute drive on a hilly winding road to town, this is the place. We hope to come back again someday.

Lovely house and beautiful views.

The location was amazing, great views from the hill, very quiet and great outdoor space. The house is new, modern, has all the appliances and kitchen accessories you'd need for your stay. The dining and living room furniture is modern and perfect. The only drawback which might refrain me from renting this house again is the bed. First the king size bed is too big for such a small room, no space to have your suitcase open as it covers the only space to walk around. The close is small. A queen size would be better in this room, still tight but the bedroom would feel less crowded. The mattress is not great so if you have back problems it's something to consider. The pillows are very uncomfortable, they don't give any neck support and the bedsheets are pilly, and it seemed they are made of synthetic material not cotton. We asked for better sheets and Vacasa brought us queen size sheets so we could only use the flat sheet. The listing says it's a king size bed, not sure why they would bring us queen size sheets then. I'd also provide nice/softer towels. :) The kitchen was stocked with basic things like salt, pepper, oil and coffee although we brought our own. I loved the options of having a French press, a nice Keureg (which we don't use) and a brewing coffee machine. The hot tub is a very nice feature to have in the house. Check in and check out was very easy.

Bring your sheets

This house has a terrific location if you want quiet and privacy and great nature views. There are two drawbacks: the sheets on the bed are really cheap uncomfortable stuff that comes off the mattress all the time. Perhaps bring your own. Also, the living room chairs are not very good for any longer reading, so if you are looking to go there to lounge and read books comfortably, this might not be for you (or just donā€™t plan to read much if reading comfort is important to you). Lastly, check the hot tub water and if it seems very chlorinated or off check with the manager to get it serviced. When we stayed the water chemistry was apparently way off which we only found after the pool specialist had to drain the whole thing upon checking it out and after getting a chlorine rash.

2nd Stay

This was our 2nd stay at this property and it was as fantastic as the first trip. The home is beautiful and the location is great - close to town, access to wineries but at the same time it offers total peace and solitude. My only suggestions are as follows: the bedding needs to be heavier. Add a quilt or heavier duvet. The furniture isn't super comfortable. This trip our main purpose was to enjoy the home/property so we spent a good amount of time in the house. The couch and chairs in the living room aren't all that inviting or comfortable to lounge on. All that said, we will still definitely return at some point - just a few suggestions!!

Nice secluded place in Calistoga

Great location, super cute build. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and pillows, comforter did not smell like they were clean(smelled like someoneā€™s sweat). Mattress pad was stained. Other than that great kitchen for cleaning. Great deck for eating and looking at the stars. Hot tub was a great addition. A bit dark on arrival so be sure you have a flashlight or a fully charged phone to use. Windows in bedroom do have window coverings now.

Lovey property

The property is well located and quite secluded. Beautiful view and comfortable amenities. Communication was a little tough with Turnkey but was eventually worked out, did not receive code at promised time, took 45 minutes to get it. That being said, we would definitely stay there again.
