We do allow pets and our cleaner works hard to thoroughly clean but if you have a dog allergy you may not want to book.

You will love that from the living room you see water as if you are in a floating house. Great nights on the wrap around deck in the fenced in yard with a fire or cozy up next to the wood buring fire place-

pool table, Dartboard games

Updates throughout! All new floors, most rooms painted, new double oven, dishwasher.

Enjoy a day in the water, fishing, swimming and enjoying nature. Have a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise on the oversized wrap around deck. Within 15 miles of many wineries and Breweries and 30 minutes to Lake Michigan Beaches. Enjoy the pool table and fire place.
Second Bedroom has Queen size bunk beds great for adults or kids.
There is a seawall that is 24 inches to 40inches that is not safe for small children to be unattended near.


Two kayaks and paddle boat free to use.

Pets are case by case basis please ask first :) This is dog friendly- Please understand we clean as much as we can but it is impossible to get every piece of hair

Lake house stay on Big Cedar Lake

We had a great stay. The house had a lot of space for us to visit with our family along with a pool table which was a nice bonus. Great views of the lake, and plenty of outdoor gathering spots. Also plenty of activities to do on the water.

Everything was super. Ryan left check in details, the kitchen facilities were the best we have had. Iā€™m glad we rented the pontoon boat, as we used it daily. We had an excellent stay.

Thoughtfully Appointed House Right on the Water

We really enjoyed our stay. The host is quite helpful, communicative, and thoughtful. The house is actually a bit bigger than appears in the photos. We rented the pontoon, used the grill, and enjoyed sitting outside. We fished from both the pontoon and the dock. We also tied the provided raft to the pontoon so we could use while swimming in the lake. Our dog loved the stay also!

Lovely Lake Getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our short stay on this lovely lake getaway. From the cozy house to the beautiful view overlooking the lake - it was the perfect place to recharge and relax. The highlight for our family was the time we spent in the water or in the pontoon. Ryan (host) was exceedingly responsive and helpful to any questions or needs that we had.

Memorial Day Weekend Trip

We had a great time staying at this house! Plenty to do both inside and outside of the home. Definitely recommend the pontoon rental if your budget allows! Ryan did a great job communicating everything with us and was very accommodating. Would definitely consider coming back!

Classic Michigan Lake time

We enjoyed taking the pontoon out and swimming in the lake. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Ryan was a wonderful, responsive host! The grassy, fenced in area was perfect for our dog. How ugly recommend!recommend!

Lake getaway

Our stay was wonderful. House was bigger than even the pictures showed. Floated on large rafts provided and kayaked and used paddleboard. Very peaceful and quiet. The pontoon was a great way to see rest of lake and swim. Very enjoyable week. Would stay there again. Ryan was a great host and easy to communicate with!

Family gat away at the lake

This property was very clean and had everything we could possibly need for need for our stay. We had fun relaxing on the pontoon boat, playing games, sitting on the deck, playing pool, and watching a movie together. It was also nice to be able to bring our dog, who enjoyed the stay too. He had his own little area in the fenced in yard.

Great spot for family getaway!!

Great little lake house with all amenities needed! The kids, dogs, and adults all had a blast! The kitchen is well stocked with anything needed to cook while there! The outdoor grill is a nice bonus on the deck as well. Plenty of seating and space to eat outdoors. Game room and living room is also quite spacious and roomy. We rented the boat and really enjoyed exploring the lake throughout the stay. Ryan was professional and attentive, making sure we were good throughout our stay. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and private place to stay this is it!!

Great getaway

My husband, myself and our two dogs stayed a couple nights. This place was wonderful. The house is right on the lake, we loved the view. Enjoying the fireplace was our favorite part. It was a great place to relax and recharge. Sandy and Ryan were excellent hosts - friendly & courteous. We also appreciated the thought that went into details such as having snacks available upon our arrival. We cannot wait to come back and get on the lake next time.

Great vacation spot

Me the wife and kid had a blast all week! Ryan was very accommodating. The house had everything we needed. The pictures don't do it justice. Definitely recommend renting the pontoon if possible. We were out on the boat everyday. Pool table was a nice touch to have something to do at night. Would definitely come back again. Thanks for the great vacation!

Something for Everybody

This is the perfect spot to take your family vacation! There is something for everybody! Kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat, splash pads and pontoon boat for outside; pool table, darts and puzzles/games for inside! Weā€™ll stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Laundry available and other surprise amenities from the host! Ryan was a friendly, generous and reliable host! We highly recommend this vacation spot on Big Cedar Lake!

Amazing vacation

Our family had an amazing time at the lake house! Ryanā€™s communication was excellent from the check in process to check out. He was extremely prompt in answering any questions we had. The house was exactly as described. It was clean and met all of our familyā€™s needs. The views were amazing. We highly recommend renting the pontoon boat. Our kids had a blast with the floats and kayaks. Fishing off the pier was great. We would definitely recommend this house to any of our family and friends!

Exactly what we needed!

Clean and inviting with wonderful views of the lake. Weather was mostly cool, but we still got out on the lake, and fished almost every day. Played pool and darts. Dog loved the small yard and ability to walk around on the decks without needing to be on leash. Fully stocked kitchen and large grill outside. Host was available but not intrusive. We will definitely stay again.

Great family trip to Michigan

We really enjoyed our family trip to Michigan. The location was perfect right on the water with easy access to the pontoon we rented with the house. Plenty of room for my family which includes myself, my husband, and our two teenagers. The beds were comfortable, couch was large and comfy as well. Plenty of entertainment including fishing, darts, a pool table, board games, and puzzles. There were TVs in living room and both bedrooms too. We were also able to bring our 2 dogs with us and thereā€™s a small fenced in grassy area for them to enjoy. Thanks for helping us make some great family memories.

Wondwrful stay on the Lake

You are right on the water! The lake views are beautiful on the wrap around deck. The kayaks were fun and relaxing to take out and a plethora of tubes and floats to take out. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat, it was a must! We got to see all of the beautifu lake, nature and eagles flying around. The house was clean and well stocked with spices, pots, pans and cooking utensils. They had some wonderful surprises waiting for us when we got there. Ryan was amazing, attentive and got back to us quickly with any questions or concearns. He really wanted to nake sure we were happy and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful time. We would definitely come back!
